Top 20 Verbs with SEIN (to be) in German perfect tense

- When talking about the past in German like in some other languages as well you need to use an auxiliary verb to form the present perfect tense (das Perfekt). In this video you will not only learn about how many actually use "sein" and how many "haben" but you will also get the Top 20 German verbs from A1 to B1 level which do have "sein" as the auxiliary verb in "Perfekt".

I just have two questions for you:
1. Where can I find the Göethe vocabulary list? I find these statistics you use extremely interesting but I have not been able to find it on the internet for some reason
2. How can it be that the word "bleiben" has the auxillary verb "sein"? There is a lack of movement and I don't see how staying would be a "change of state". I know the verb is right because we also use "to be" in my mother tongue (Danish) but yeah, I am just curious to the reason why it's "sein" and not "haben"

The movement or change in state/condition can be applied for most. But it's German... and there are always exceptions... 🙃

Imagine you're sitting on a chair and do the verbs. If you can do those without having to leave your chair, then you need haben. Not 100%, but mostly.

Did you realize you said "have went" in your English? Many poorly educated English speakers say this nowadays but of course it's wrong. Maybe in another 100 years the preterite form will have replaced the past perfect but it's not time yet for a teacher to use it! Der deutsche Teil hat mir doch sehr gefallen.
Lots of people say have went. I think. I’ll have to listen out now, but to me it doesn’t sound strange. I’ve been sounds a bit nicer I guess
Yes it's like wegen moving from genitive to dative except in the plural and using weil like denn and not moving the verb to the end of the phrase. Having worked in Germany in the early 70s compared to visiting now or watching RUclips in German, these changes have come in. Just look at how the use of geil has evolved. I never would have used that in polite company back then!
