    OMG Please, please, please more like this. When you take away the memorization of endless words in any aspect of language learning, the students will always respond with greater enthusiasm to learn to context of the lesson. We have an expression which explains this philosophy. "Why bark, when you have a dog?" 'Necessity is the mother of invention' also comes to mind. Basically we humans are lazy or intelligent , depends on your POV. Want to find the quickest and easiest way to accomplish something? Ask a lazy person. I digress, Thank you for this and my head also says thank you. You have made this fun now. I feel like someone who has been using a fork to put sugar in my coffee and you have just given me a spoon! ❤❤❤

I want to reach B1 level by the end of next year as I will be applying for Swiss nationality. So far your videos have been really helpful. With the help of your videos, back in 2021, I could reach Fide A2 level (spoken and written) and that got me the C permit. Now I need to work on my speaking part to get B1 level atleast. Thanks and keep up the good work, Luzi !

    Vielen Dank für dieses sehr gute Video! Ich habe eine Frage über etwas, das du am Ende des Videos gesagt hast: die drei Verben gehen, fahren, kommen. Ok, mit GEHEN kann mann sagen "Ich gehe joggen" oder "ich gehe wandern" ohne ZU, z.b., aber kannst du uns ein paar Beispiele mit FAHREN und KOMMEN geben?

    • @yourgermanteacher
      @yourgermanteacher  Год назад

      Gerne. Es geht bei diesen Verben nur darum, dass man keine Infinitivsätze mit “zu” bilden kann. Mit “gehen” auch nicht. Aber ja, man kann die meisten mit einem zweiten Verb benutzen.

    • @Immersify-DE
      @Immersify-DE 11 дней назад +1

      In this sentence, you should use "um zu":
      "Ich lerne Deutsch, um einander zu verstehen."
      The phrase "um zu" is used to express purpose, similar to saying "in order to" in English. "Damit" is also used to express purpose but is more common when there’s a different subject in the second clause.
