The only risk e faces is the Mets becoming bankrupt before the loan expires.

So I’d never seen any photo of the money throwing, but I was there for the game. We were on a high school trip to NY and somehow we ended up going to the home opener, and it was a near riot: fights in the stands, the three guys throwing money over the strike, multiple guys trying to scale the outfield fence to evade the cops after rushing the field over the game, just general mayhem, or what you would call a Mets game. We were lobbing paper airplanes made from extra souvenir program books they gave us and nobody cared because the cops had much bigger problems. Our teacher got us out of there early; after being used to the sterile world of the Skydome this was a much different experience and I’m pretty sure he was worried for our safety. Still the most memorable game I’ve attended, including an ALCS game.

And the Brooklyn Native John Franco our Closer.... All UNDERACHIEVED !.... Bonilla hit 95 Homeruns with the Mets batted 265 in the 4 years he was with them... Then they traded him too Baltimore where he hit 28 Homeruns and 116 RBIs as a DH than off to the Marlins where he won a Championship with his old coach Jim Leyland and teammate Gary Sheffield..... He basically said too the Mets Fk You for treating me the way you did and you have to pay me 1.2 Million until I'm 72 years old... I LOVE IT ! .. I'm a Mets fan letting all you other Met fans know it wasn't right ! Maybe you should boo Francisco Lindor who's contract with the Mets is 10 years 345 Million and only batting 218 ! BULLSHIT !

He also hit a home run in the 2000 NLDS that saved the Mets season and later led to them making the World Series.
So I’d never seen any photo of the money throwing, but I was there for the game. We were on a high school trip to NY and somehow we ended up going to the home opener, and it was a near riot: fights in the stands, the three guys throwing money over the strike, multiple guys trying to scale the outfield fence to evade the cops after rushing the field over the game, just general mayhem, or what you would call a Mets game. We were lobbing paper airplanes made from extra souvenir program books they gave us and nobody cared because the cops had much bigger problems.
Our teacher got us out of there early; after being used to the sterile world of the Skydome this was a much different experience and I’m pretty sure he was worried for our safety. Still the most memorable game I’ve attended, including an ALCS game.
