- This is our Oneplus Nord review after using the phone for exactly 30 days. Here we have discussed my experience with the phone while comparing it against the Samsung Galaxy A71 and Vivo V19.

The Oneplus Nord is an upper mid-range smartphone. The USP of the device is 5G ready Snapdragon 765G chipset along with 90Hz AMOLED display. Furthermore, you can go up to 12GB of RAM alongside 256GB of storage. Unfortunately, it lacks the headphone jack and a microSD card slot.
The Oneplus Nord also features a decent design with Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both sides. However, there's a plastic frame so durability is a concern. With an optimized Oxygen OS running the show, the performance is really good on the Nord. However, Gaming wise, it cannot be rated as excellent. And unlike the Oneplus flagship phones, games like PuBG and COD are still not optimized to run at 90Hz. However, it might just be restricted by a midtier SoC.
Moving on to the performance, the Oneplus Nord features six cameras in total. The quad rear camera houses a 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. For what its worth, the cameras performed well on our review, however, a 2MP macro lens is a pure gimmick.
There's a pill-shaped cutout on the left top of the display that houses a dual selfie camera of 32MP primary and 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Both yield good performance. Battery wise, there is a 4115mAh cell with a 30W Warp fast charger inside the box.

No up to 2 years it is good but after performance dimnishes

I am facing heat issue in one plus Nord during game play. The handset is delivered on 19th Aug, in just 7 days the temperature of the phone rises during gaming. Is it normal or I have to replace the handset ? please guide.

We usually sell them after 3-4 months. But, some of them, we keep it.
Too many compromise to price the phone low. Still Oxygen OS is Dope 🔥 As you mentioned more color option would have been nice 👍
@@FossTelevision wireless charging, reverse wireless charging, IP68 certification, USB C 3.0, stereo speakers, at least Snapdragon 855, macro lens is not that great, should have gone for 5 mpx on it, construction is not that good, no sd card slot, rear cameras layout are sooooo 2019 and the brightness of the screen are not that good, Samsung does way better than this

@@FossTelevision the plastic frame dude. It can actually be a problem in long term. Also the cameras are not as good as the competition in the same price range. Also competition has sd 855 which is much better than the 765g. These reasons alone are worth considering

I got the OnePlus 5T, then switched to the 6, and finally upgraded to 6T - within months of each other. From the 7 and 7 Pro onwards, the price point soared and I wasn't a fan of some of the design/features, too. Looking at reviews, the Nord initially looks like a good idea for those who cannot spend on the high end models, but later it seems to be a major compromise - less than impressive camera quality despite the triple cam system, no headphone jack, and the plasticky back build. The "NEVER SETTLE" motto cannot hold true with this because you are definitely settling! My two Rs. on this phone is you're better off spending less on a RealMe/Redmi and getting value for your money...

@@sushantbolke3623 not really... if you read what I wrote. I have had the same phone for 1.7 years because why waste money when this is satisfying and up to date. Back then, I exchanged and upgraded at little or zero investment so I jumped at the opportunity :)

5:35 Cover those 5mp depth camera and then take a picture, 5mp depth camera is useless. Its actually taking from the main camera

i mean yeah, I've heard almost the same from other you tubers long ago.. and you really pulled off JerryRigEverything as well that's nice but it would had been abit better if you had put a small video of him or the clip where he bends the phone (i am suggesting as most of the people might not get that line) .. and the 90Hrz refresh rate seems fine as well seeing the price range....the expansion slot would have made the 64GB phones more market....and lastly the front camera having 4k with 60fps video recording was abit confusing myself ...
but u do knw that once (samsung display has issues after 1 year usage of heavy gaming)🤣🤣🤣

Samsung - 9611 ( same processor uses in every device 15k to 25k and also full phone is made up of plastic )
Xiaomi - i just hate miui (720g lags so much in miui)
Realme - very bad experience(I just hate realme)
Oneplus - Great software....

Yes... There is sone problem with display light and that horizontal line above the screen
I have the Nord with me.
The macro camera does a pretty decent job.
It does an okay job, but it's not as good as the Galaxy A71 and the Vivo V19. But, I think macro lens is a pure gimmick. I think instead of depth and macro, they could have given an average 2X optical lens.
I don't think they would do a good job with either macro or a telephoto lens.
Better to limit the cameras in budget phones to 2-3 cameras unlike those 5-6 cameras that look like alien eyes. Or have a similar layout like the Note 20U which in my opinion is the cleanest
