      Thanks - at the time, I took big risk driving and parking up there to videotape. Now of course, all of this is gone.

    GREAT catch of the Up and Sp Units And did i See A Southern Pacific SD70M in the Background plus I Flimed a Train in Glendale California pulling a Southern Pacific SD70M in Up Colors 3995 on a Stack train felt like 2000 all over again.

    AWESOME VIDEO I work in this area and it's so sad to see this area like it is today. Now the turntables are gone i hope a railroad museum got them and they were not discarded

    we have the up yard and it is going ghost town two. security gards know us so well they dont ask us what we are doing. they smile and wave. Now they are getting to the point like are they really rail fanning?

    Sorry - only a year late with a reply. According to the UP Roster it is a C36-7.
    GE C36-7 - 19 units
    3600 horsepower; C-C trucks; 391,000 pounds operating weight

    Yes - whole area is flattened. Very sad. Piece of LA History gone.
