Nice catch! You guys are the 2nd people to get it on camera the red hill avenue 2nd crossing, You and garrett, was the first person to see the Red Hill avenue second crossing in 2019, (but no activation) The biggest cantilever on the line.
Spectacular video dude 🙂👍 you finally got to see this local in action 😀😃 and your the second railfan to film this local the first was coastal oc railfan 📹 it's cool that the old lights and bells are still working 😎👍 the Red Hill Avenue railroad crossing has a big cantilever i have ever seen 😯 and it's sad that the Mcgraw Avenue railroad crossing #2 is deactivated and broken 😔😞😢😿 aside from that all the mechanical bells and electronic bells sound amazing, awesome, great and fantastic 🙂👍😎👍 i seen these crossings before when my mom and i were in a hotel 🏨 while our house was getting remodeled 🏡but overall well done sir you have finally fulfilled you dream to see this train run through here on this line 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍.
hey in an old video of the metrolink cab car in trainz 12 about the f59 and bombadier cab car horns you somehow had them and im wondering where i can get metrarailboy1 's horn
Most of the mainline crossings on the Orange and San Diego subs are quiet zones. Spurs and industry tracks really have no need for QZ’s because of the minimal traffic and train speed.
Oh wow, I have looking for trains than run through the red hill line. Thanks for the upload!

Do you plan on catching it soon? Wednesday nights once a week
@@mutanay77 I am planning to catch hopefully this Wednesday hopefully, I am probably going to flim big crossing.
as a former resident of tustin, it's neat to see a rarely used line to actually be used. tustin's only active crossing is the red hill ave one haha
Yep, completely agree

Great video and crossings!
Thank you!
Nice catch!
Thanks!
Nice video! Love that classic sound of m bells. What time did he roll through there?
He came through around 10:30 and didn’t leave until 12:30
McGraw Avenue railroad crossing is a mess, its missing a signal and one signal is bent over
How did you get this video without the train disappearing
Any idea where those boxcars serve? Industry name?

I notice the train blows the horn at the crossings. Are the crossings on the main all quiet zones? But not on this line it’s a horn zone.

What industries use the box cars?
I’m not sure. I only followed it to the covered hoppers in the back
How frequently does this run?
Every Wednesday night
I like how they waste a bunch of money on a big cantilever for a lightly used industrial lead
what's even funnier is that they recently updated dyer rd's crossing (the same line as this one) to cantilevers as well
