Julia Stiles allegedly had an affair with Michael C Hall while they did the show Dexter. He was married to Jennifer Carpenter at the time. Jennifer has/had more influence in the industry so it stalled Julia’s career. Jennifer either forgave her or she doesn’t have the same pull in the industry anymore.
Orphan (2009) is an underrated modern classic, imho. This doesn’t look as promising-but I have faith in Isabelle Fuhrman. If anyone can pull this off, she can! 👍

I can already tell this movie is going to be amazing, but i still think the first one will be the best. Nothing can beat the acting and the plot in the first one.
I think you’re right, but I think the main reason being the plot twist in the first was mind blowing. This one, everyone already knows what’s going on so that shock factor won’t be there. -Unless there are some that didn’t watch Orphan but will watch this.
I like the explanation regarding Esther's more mature appearance being that we now know that she's NOT a child and therefore see through her "disguise"/ see her as an adult pretending to be a kid. (obviously, mainly because Isabelle has aged over the last 13 years but it still works when you spin the narrative that way) What I don't quite get is why she went with the same name Esther in the "future" when she targetted Kate's family and respectively died in the pond in Orphan 1. Not too careful of her. Either that or there will be an even darker twist to the prequel because what we never get to know is how did Esther manage to fabricate her papers/documents, etc? We know she was in a mental hospital but how did she manage to get herself to an orphanage again and again after that up to the point when she got adopted by Kate and her husband? Could someone be helping her? Excited about this, especially because it seems that it's not the tragic story of the family they briefly narrated in the first movie but the story of another family she's been with, where she's posing as their missing daughter.
Isabelle Fuhrman is an amazing actress! You can tell by this trailer that she once again nailed the nightmarish look of Esther, even though she is older her acting habilities really convince us that the characther on the screen is a very dangerous woman pretending to be a child. Only Isabelle can be Esther.

I loved the first Orphan but it's one of those movies where the plot doesn't set itself up for a sequel or prequel. The fact we already know most of Esther's backstory by the end of the first movie doesn't leave room for interpretation, and since this takes place before the events in the first movie means we already know the outcome, so the stakes are basically nonexistent. It was the same problem I had with Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. You know the protagonists are doomed and gonna end up dead from the start so there's no reason to get invested in them

She looks older than the first movie they should’ve done it in 2007 or 2008 then second film in 2009.:)
Not how movies work
I saw it last night, it was decent. I may have missed something so I'm going to watch it again just to see what I missed but it didn't seem like it was that good. I'm going to watch it again to see how I feel about it.
She was wonderful actress n she nailed ester role in orphan movie, its underrated movie unfortunately. But im happy after such a long tym ill see its sequel.
Just saw the whole movie in this trailer yay
Can't wait for this movie. Isabella is very talented 🥰🥰She kinda reminds me of both Kirsten Dunst and Chloe Grace Moretz
They can make people old in special effects, but reversing time is hard apparently.
"if you are not esther, who are you?" .... Annabelle..
She is Leena Klammer, a deranged woman with a growth disorder, who’s wanted for breaking out of a mental institution.
Wow when I first heard about this movie I thought it would be a replacement or a relative of hers. I didn't think after 13 years she could do it!
I can’t wait to see this
the whole movie being shown in 2 min. nice
QUERO VER ESTE FILME
You're KIDDING ME! Part 2 IS HERE! I can't wait to see it! Haha! OMG!
Holy shit its Julia Stiles!!
ahhhh, I'm so excited. :D
If this becomes a franchise then we might have a new slasher icon
This is a prequel and she died in the first movie so sadly this won’t be a franchise
I know it's a prequel but honestly would anyone really care if they pulled a Michael Myers, Freddy, or Jason and just brought her back from the dead lol. Could even use the alternate ending from the first movie.
a female slasher icon would be amazing.
@@TimoteoDeBaum yes
Honestly a really hyper feminine slasher icon would be amazing , with the hair done nails done everything just slashing people, people would love it.
I can't wait to see this movie🍿 seems interesting
Imagine Predator meet Esther as Crossover🤩
What's funny is, the woman playing her mother also played the mother of Damien in the 2006 Omen. Lol
The mother of demons.
OH and Vera Farmiga (the one who plays the mother in the first movie) was the mother of Joshua, another evil kid lol
She's not Esther. She's Clove. 🤣😂🤣
I'm quite confused, but I'm having a feeling that this movie's gonna be about Ester's old family. before she went with her new one like the 1st movie. Although the mother from the 1st movie killed Ester in a lake or pond.
But this is just a thought!... it's a 50/50 chance I could be right or wrong.
Yes it’s a prequel
I cannot wait for this !! I thought that she died in the 1st movie !
This is before the first movie .
Why is a 25-year old woman who looks even older than that, still playing a little girl with pigtails and saying, "mummy"? That's just bizarre.
She's in her late thirties. Esther that is. She's got a condition that makes her look like a child but I reckon even age overcomes that.
Omg 😱. She back again 🤣. Run everyone 😂.
Wow, black widow sequel is looking lit.
"First Kill", sounds like a prequel. Maybe about the murdered family as mentioned in the previous film.
Tengo una prima que es muy dulce y cariñosa, y siempre se ve como niña pese a q tiene veintitantos
what!?! Isabelle Fuhrman is like 25 years old.
I love this movie. Im so excited YAY
I have a feeling this movie is not going to be that great but I'll give it a watch it might surprise me
This reminds me of that time Gary Oldman walked on his knees for an entire movie pretending to be a dwarf.
Is it me, or does the thumbnail smile remind me of that one smile from the lay chips-
