Great Video! Great Graphics! A must see before anybody even thinks about sending in a card for grading! I think some of those card sellers on E-bay should view this before listing their cards as "Mint" in their auctions!
I am so glad you used the Mantle rookie card. With the 52 Mantle there are two types of cards. The type one has the black border around the Yankees logo. The type two the border is weak on one side and no border on the bottom of Yankees logo. All of the type two's have the printing error that you showed. The type two has a missing pixel on left top. The 10 was type 1 the 9 was type 2.
What if the PSA label is not what the card actually is? I have a few examples in my collection! I bought a cards on eBay thinking it was better than what they are.
Nice tips. My only concerns are I have the 1952 Mantle which I see valued in the 5-6 digit range and I am at a loss for how I actually get the card graded. I mean how do I trust the postal service with a delivery of an item that could be valued over $100K? What assurances do I have that the card I get back will be the same card I submitted? Is there just a trust factor I have to deal with?
Was hoping for some help as I am new to this. I bought some 2021 UFC prizm cards and notice on the back of all of them they seem to have lines going through them. Do these affect the grading heavy? Should I send any of these in?
I have a psa 8 shadowless charizard but the psa case is a bit scratched up. Would it be a good idea to submit the card again to get a new case or is it best to leave it alone?
You can opt for our "Reholder" service, but our wait times are currently impacted for all of our services, as we slowly bring our operations back. Here is the link to fees and turnaround times for our services: www.psacard.com/pricing/#cards
We have been backlogged on submissions, but we continue to add to our growing team in order to facilitate increased demand. Regarding grading, all of our graders adhere to PSA's Grading Standards, which can be found here: www.psacard.com/resources/gradingstandards#cards
You guys should lower the prices of the PSA.I don’t get it the stock market for the sports cards is crashing very deep plus whit covet 19 it’s not helping.
Thanks for sharing the process - GREAT VIDEO for Beginners & Experienced collectors to get educated on. Can wait to learn more!

Yeah and I think this shit has ruined the industry.
This is why I only buy graded vintage on eBay.

It bothers me that there is a HUGE difference between a PSA 1 and PSA 2 but very subtle differences with all the other number-grades.
Aside from extremely slow turnover at PSA, they are very inconsistent on their grading.

Looking for big vintage card collections let me know if anyone of you guys is selling, thanks
Yes I am interested in selling
52 Mantle should NEVER been graded a 10 as their is a slight tilt of register relative to the portrait and borders!
