      @@azel155 lol. is this the common internet excuse now for having a differing opinion? i've probably watched more ball than you given my previous job. and of course, he's been injured. everyone has been. it's just a question of how much (imo more acceptable than brogdon, smart or rob williams) and when. C's staff looks like they're doing a good job of managing his health before the playoffs much like they do with al.

      @@eyemunchained8968 imo mazzula should be using KP more. i feel more confident on a dwindling shotclock possession (7s or less) with them dumping the ball into KP in the post over the JT infinity dribble into a constested sidestep 3. JT makes that shot like what, 10% of the time? it's not like KP is turnover prone in the post. he knows how to protect the ball and makes the right reads.

    I've been watching the celtics since the late 90's. I own tons of game tapes from thr 80's and have watched countless hours games from the 60's and 70's.
    I love the celtics. And I can confidently say that if Zinger staye healthy, this could be the second or 3rd best celtics team in my lifetime. They're not as good as 08. But they are still in the "all time great" conversation. But that's only going to matter if they stay healthy and win a title. Truly one of the most unique teams I've ever seen

      @@Bretde1 the 08 team was definitely tougher, but i would say that is an era thing. For their era, that 08 team was greatly skilled too. Tons of shooting and great defending across the board. Agreed that this current team is all-time great so far. I hope they can keep this going

  • @ipfreely
    @ipfreely 5 месяцев назад +5

    Best part of Porzingis being in Boston is that he doesn’t have to push himself to come back after injury because he is not being asked to carry the team or be the partner to a superstar. He might have pushed himself to come back when he had a niggling injury in the past; games that he probably should have sat out. Now he doesn’t need to do that anymore, he can rest and come back when he is ready. This could be what he needed to extend his career.
    Sometime it’s situation more than just talent that become the defining point of their career. Also he is probably more mature having been on a terrible team as a veteran when he was with Washington. Let’s hope he becomes the new Robert Parrish for you guys.
    Even as a former Knicks fan, I’m looking forward for his career to finally shine in a system that can let him thrive.

I would literally rather have him on the Celtics than Damian Lillard. I still think Milwaukee was dumb for doing that when they already had holiday. Better defender and he scored 1what 7 points less lol
