YEP, made sense, b/c she loved Blake deeply and did not want to share him or his love with any other woman (other than her mother).....but once she had her own child, bonded with that child,the wall came down n she became able to see in that genuine moment that Krystle was not putting on an act, she truly loved Blake and only wanted the best for him.
Afterward, Fallon sees through Alexis’ motives and wickedness ( especially that incident with Mark Jennings). Later, Fallon tells Alexis, that she sees her evil intentions and Krystal is a decent human being. Alexis becomes angered by this and confronts Krystal. Then it becomes “ Showdown at the Lily Pond!”
I remember this scene brought me to tears along with the ladies back in the 80's and I have a couple tears rolling now too. I loved seeing my two favorite characters connect.
when the show 1st started fallon was very imature n wtd blake all 2 herself(which is plausible cause once her mother left she was the only women in his life but as time went on she matured and in this moment she saw how much Krystal's feelings for her farther had nothing to do with his money but genuine love/concern...she deeply loved blake and was so distraught because there was nothing she cld do to take his pain away and the emotion was genuine....Fallon could only receive the moment because she had evolved...gotten married and more importantly became a mother herself and this allowed her to accept another woman loving her daddy....entire stroyline was well written and plausible because blakes actions here are more out of guilt than love....if he had accepted steven for who was vs who blake wanted him to be he wld still be there and alive...one wld have to be a parent to truly comprehend what was unfolding here....great episode with the xception of that stupid white space suit Krystal is wearing...what i really can not believe is how fckn stupid someone cld be to have her dressed in white...she followed black to drill site climbed up the dirt to wear he was and comes back to mansion n the suit is as clean as when she left...WTF..
She might have 2 of those suits or maybe this scene was taken before. When they do some scenes with all the takes you can find lots of things if you are busy on the details.

+gojewla lol......funny....i remember sitting around the tv watching this with my siblings when this 1st aired n we all said the xact same thing.....this was an outift that they just did not get right....n every time i watch this clip...i think the same damn thing.....n now i really think it is just a ridiculous outfit that just does not work.....i am shocked that the director did not catch this n shout cut n make her change into something else....and to add insult to injjury...how the hell cld the director n wardrobe put her in all white frm head to toe...n then have chasing behind blake at a dusty oil rig site..she runs up the same dirt pile right behind blakse only to return to the mansion and the all white outfit does not have a dirt patch anywhere..when dominque came on board originally she started to wear outifits that resembled alexis's wardrobe...Joan collins spoke spelling n nolan miller n put a stop to this right away....

Watching Dynasty scenes on RUclips, I've noticed the show got a lot of mileage out of that black room divider with the (I think) Asian art on it at the left of the room this scene is shot in. Start watching for it; you'll be surprised how often you see it in various places.
It's a sweet scene & I appreciate that Fallon reconciling with Krystle was a logical part of her character development at the time. But the show & the character lost something when this happened.
Emma Samms was a horrible recast for the character of Fallon. They should've found someone similar to Pamela Sue Martin, or just write the character out of the series..she
Fallon, portrayed by PSM, remained bitchy until she left... just look at her last scene on the show. She screams at the people trying to help her with her wedding dress lol
Interesting how many fans love this - Fallon and Krystle as friends. But for me, this Season soften Fallon too much…and I know PSM left for other reasons but the way they wrote her character her last 2 seasons was probably part of it!
