@stevenwohl9527 well, i dont know now. they did a play together called Legdens, and it was a lot of drama, and this article went out saying joan will never work with linda evans again. i dont know if they reconcile.
Middle of the night and Alexis just woke up in full makeup and perfect hair . This show was so camp, i am surprised it had anything else but a gay audience . When i was a young boy and was asked what i wanted to be later , i used to answer . Alexis Colby Carrington . Needless to say i never had to come out to anyone .
Alexis flowing robe at the beginning of the clip as she walks down the stairs and the way she clutches it to stop its movement when she speaks to Krystal. Amazing.
WOW,This One Of The Few Times Alexis And Krystle Were NICE To Each Other,AMAZING!!! It Was Nice To See This Side Of Alexis,Without Her Claws Out,She And Krystle Bonded Over Someone They Both Cared About Steven!!!
I always loved this scene. The way they spoke & showed physical affection to each other made it seem that deep down they didn't hate each other. It makes what Alexis says @ the end of the reunion movie make more sense.
I wonder how long it took until they started fighting again. 🤣 You've gotta love Alexis shimmying downstairs in the dark in full make up wearing that fabulous nightwear. I loved Dynasty! 🥰
Don't know why, but this is one of my favorite scenes in all of Dynasty. Seeing Alexis & Krystal getting along & being very civil with each other & actually kind & supportive was a nice treat.
One of the only genuine moments Krystle and Alexis ever shared. They were actually touching each other in a non-violent way LOL. For what it's worth--I think that Alexis truly did appreciate Krystle coming to tell her this incredible news in person vs over the phone. When Krystle mentions it--she understood and was grateful.
one of the few scenes where Krystle & Alexis were civil...WARM even...to each other. It says alot abt Krystle's character that she delivered the news abt Steven to Alexis, his mother, IN PERSON. This really was a beautiful scene, & Joan Collins looked gorgeous in that outfit. The way robe flowed behind her as she came down those stairs? just perfect. #Dynasty
Krystle probably knew Alexis deserved to find out the news about Steven in person and not over the phone and i think Alexis appreciated the gesture even if shoe couldn't find the words to thank Krystle.
One of my favorite "Dynasty" scenes. What a pity the Shapiros never wrote a scene where both Alexis and Krystle come together to support Steven against Blake and his virulent homophobia
Alexis and Krystle are the best of enemies, they'll never admit it but I think they _both_ revel in their rivalry, and would hate to lose each other. Bizarre as that sounds.
I think deep down they both had qualities that they admired and respected about the other. And I think if someone had done something to Blake, Steven, or one of the grandchildren...those two would have ganged up and been a force of nature. Now THAT would have been an interesting storyline.
Alexis smile at 1:49 was so earnest...so used to just seeing her smirk or smile at someone else's expense. I like the fact they had this rare bonding moment...the characters would've been two one dimensional otherwise.
+ClarenceFisher , That would be freakin' hilarious!! At the end, when Krystle is gone in the elevator, Alexis dramatically leans against the wall as if to say, "How dare that bitch come into my penthouse?!!"
I always thought that Krystle delivered the news this way not just because she was kind but also because of the fit that Alexis had when she found out that Little Blake had been rescued from the nurse in the hospital in season 2 and not from the family.
It's a heroic or "good guy/gal" version of Alexis' theme instead of the devious/evil version we were used to hearing. They play that version at the very beginning of the scene too. I think they did that to show that the Alexis we saw in this scene was being genuine in her kindness towards Krystal.)
That was the very first episode, that I watched as a kid. So I was really surprised when two episodes later I saw those two close friends having a lily pond fight.
It would have been brutal if Alexis had said, "Krystle... even though my baby, Steven, survived. I am sorry your baby died in your belly in that...horse accident."
When you are burned enough that the doctor have to reconstruct your face, this is not plastic surgery, this is reconstructive surgery. There is no vanity whatsoever behind it, (plastic surgery is based on vanity alone). Also the easiest thing to do for a reconstructive surgeon is to bring back the original face, not a new one, because building a new one after being burned means that you have to work twice as much. It would have been a lot easier for the writers to pretend that steven witnessed a crime and had to go into hiding and altered his face and changed his identity, now that would have been far more believable !
This has to be the only scene in Dynasty history where Alexis was kind to Krystle and vice versa because the rest of the time they were always digging and trading slaps and having catfights
Alexis would've continued to be nice to Krystle if she only divorces Blake. Alexis hates Blake but cannot bear to see him with anybody else, so Krystle is just guilty by association at best and collateral damage at worse.
I never understood why they bothered to address Steven looking different. Soap operas often change actor with no mention of it. Audiences accept it for this genre much more than other genres. Dynasty actually changed every other Carrington child's actor without mentioning a word. For some reason this time, it was considered a big deal. It's still early enough in the show that they have a slightly awkward filming angle for Alexis. Later the show became much too grand to show Alexis posed in front of an elevator call button panel. But by now, we're at least well past the days of Alexis buying a soda in a hospital vending machine.
If the producer is going to recast a personage he must just do it. The viewer illusion is gonna suffer a bit, but not as much as inventing an impossible perfect plastic surgery that leaves no traces of the knife.
C est une façade car Alexis voit krystle rentrer dans l ascenseur elle s effondre sur la porte en pensant fortement j ai été trop sincère vis à vis de mon ennemie comment ai je pu tenir le coup devant elle ?
I get what the writers were doing, but it was a bit forced. Krystle would have most likely called and they still could have had a pleasant exchange - much more realistic. But this show threw realism out for its third season, never to return to earth until the ninth and last year.
@@sargon0141 I guess, but I really don't know a lot of women who would go out of their way to get in their car, drive all the way across town to make sure the person who who killed her unborn baby be given such a considerate gesture. But Krystle wasn't just any woman - she was the Madonna to Alexis' Whore.
"He's had some plastic surgery .. it was so intensive, it turned him into another actor!!" ;-)
Hahaha
LOL!!!
And then for the Reunion his face goes back to the original form while Adam changes. Lol
@@Scottslaw Al Corley became Jack Coleman became Al corley. Pamela became Emma, Gordon became Robin Sachs - and the screenwriters became mad ...
a better actor in my opinon.
You know, this is probably the ONLY TIME, they came close to being friends. lol
I always believed that they had a grudging respect for each other. That's why they kept antagonizing each other.
@@fwdthinker looks like Krystle forgave Alexis for the miscarriage
They are close friends in real life
@stevenwohl9527 well, i dont know now. they did a play together called Legdens, and it was a lot of drama, and this article went out saying joan will never work with linda evans again. i dont know if they reconcile.
@Robert A. Lofgren Jr. that’s so sad. Cause I was led to believe they were really good friends. But that’s life I guess.
Middle of the night and Alexis just woke up in full makeup and perfect hair .
This show was so camp, i am surprised it had anything else but a gay audience .

Morgan Olfursson 😂🤣😂👌🏼
Morgan Olfursson LoL
Love this
Lol 🤣🤣🤣💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿
That's hilarious
It was the 1980's, darling !
We all went to bed in full war paint.
How else would our loved ones recognize us, waking up in the morning ??? 💋💄
I LOVE this scene because they were able to set aside their differences for someone they both cared for, Steven. It's one of my favorite ones.
Me too!
Alexis flowing robe at the beginning of the clip as she walks down the stairs and the way she clutches it to stop its movement when she speaks to Krystal. Amazing.
Alexis looks stunning in her "night gown." This is what one wears to receive bad and good news!
Alexis looks pretty good for just being woken up in the middle of the night
Who the hell sleep with make up on? Only Alexis can!!!! Bravo!!!!
Alexis is ready to go at all times!
😂😂👍👍👍
A whole face full of make-up? A flowing gown? Surely all women Wake this way😂😂😂
The sashay down the stairs sent me flying!!!😂😂😂 I love it!!!
Rare interlude of niceness.
Wow what a nice moment. It shows what a complex relationship they had. The chemistry between these two is always incredible. Such talent!!
I really wish they had more moments like this throughout the series to show a more complicated relationship between them.
Its strange moment but very nice. I always thought at the end of it all they both had a respect for each other.
One of the few times Krystle and Alexis were civil to each other.
I love how she says, "Krystle."
WOW! It's cool to see them being nice to eachother, for once!
This had to be the most civil moment between the two.
OMG! !! I never knew that they were actually civil to each other once. Wow it was kinda nice to see Alexis without her claws drawn.
Lol there were like one or two more scenes with them being civil
WOW,This One Of The Few Times Alexis And Krystle Were NICE To Each Other,AMAZING!!! It Was Nice To See This Side Of Alexis,Without Her Claws Out,She And Krystle Bonded Over Someone They Both Cared About Steven!!!
Probably the only time in the whole series they were nice to each other.

Oh my goodness, I am sooooooo shocked. It is so strange to see this! Alexis and Krystle not going at each other's throats? Shocking and rare.
Krystle and Alexis in friendly conversation. What a rare moment ....
This was refreshing. Loved these two ladies tremendously.
Gotta love the sweet cease-fire here among these two warrior queens
Don't know why, but this is one of my favorite scenes in all of Dynasty. Seeing Alexis & Krystal getting along & being very civil with each other & actually kind & supportive was a nice treat.
I love the shot of her nightgown flowing down the stairs she looks so fabulous.
I don't think I ever saw this scene before.. It's nice to see them exchanging a civil "thank you" and "your welcome".
It is so *perverse* to see Alexis and Krystal being genuinely nice to one and other.
Krystle is an angel...
It's strange they're nice with each other, it's too difficult to watch.
+Malcolm George Alexis being responsible for the miscarriage is temporarily forgotten in this little vignette.
exactly, it's like WTF?? and after this "tender" moment it's back to normal (them hating each other).
They both loved Steven. It was all about him. I get it. It's possible to have that kind of moment with a person you can't stand.
ROFL

For what it's worth--I think that Alexis truly did appreciate Krystle coming to tell her this incredible news in person vs over the phone. When Krystle mentions it--she understood and was grateful.
By 1991 Steven's face healed/warped completely back to how it had been before the surgery. Amazing!

Probably the only nice scene they have lol
Thats the only moment they wete friendly with each other! Thats bizarre!
It's unatural they nice to each, couldn't watch it!
If you notice at the beginning of the video, Alexis' theme is even more of a heroic version than the devious version we'd usually hear.
Alexis smile at 1:49 was so earnest...so used to just seeing her smirk or smile at someone else's expense. I like the fact they had this rare bonding moment...the characters would've been two one dimensional otherwise.
When I first saw this, I waited for Alexis to snap and blame Krystle (SOMEHOW) for Steven's accident. "HOW DARE YOU DISFIGURE MY SON, YOU TRAMP?!?!?"
+ClarenceFisher , That would be freakin' hilarious!! At the end, when Krystle is gone in the elevator, Alexis dramatically leans against the wall as if to say, "How dare that bitch come into my penthouse?!!"

Zach Scirocco An obese nurse a fat fantom in white nurse? :)

WOW, Alexis didn't say anything mean about Krystle when the door closed! Impressive! : l
That was a nice interaction between the two Mrs Carrington
It was nice to see Alexis behave civilly

One of the only times they were civil. CLASSIC!
The camp expression on Alexis' face 😂😂
Well, I'll be! The two divas being civil to each other? Lmao!
It would have been brutal if Alexis had said, "Krystle... even though my baby, Steven, survived. I am sorry your baby died in your belly in that...horse accident."
perfect woman...Alexis
I need a plastic surgeon to make me look like jack Coleman.
Damn, Alexis looks so hot in here.
This was one of my Absolute Favorite Scenes on Dynasty...…..!!
WTF did I just watch? Alexis and Krystle being nice to each other? 😂

And in the next episode, they're kicking each other's asses.
Alexis may have not been a good Mom but she did love her children
Alexis is so smoking 🔥 in that nightgown. She looks like the whole package. Krystle looks like a Fox herself.
.and.they start fighting nxt day
Now why couldn't those 2 have scenes like this once in awhile?
Alexis’s hair reminds me of sue Ellen’s from late early season 3
Jesus they were getting along so well I thought they were gonna lez out...
I think kyrstle wanted to
Nice to see them get along.
Almost friends 😂😂
They didn't have phones in Denver?
Wow. Just wow.
Krystle 😍 und Alexis ganz friedlich
Joan Collins is the most beautiful woman in the world!
george prentice Linda is georgeous too.
george prentice she sure is beautiful
My father loved her so much as actress and he says that She was a godness in all her career
Linda Evans krystle ist die schönste 😍
I was wondering if she plans to woo Blake back if he comes to see her with that outfit on...!!! Lol
Just imagined if these two became friends
This has to be the only scene in Dynasty history where Alexis was kind to Krystle and vice versa because the rest of the time they were always digging and trading slaps and having catfights
It's like if Lauren Fenmore and Sheila Carter talked as best friends. It's a shocker lol
Joan - "Plastic surgery?.......oh.....it's fine......IT'S FABULOUS DAAAAARLING!" 🤣🤣
“His face. .. At least he’s Alive. “ 😅
“His face?! why didnt they consult ME Alexis beforehand???”
Alexis would've continued to be nice to Krystle if she only divorces Blake. Alexis hates Blake but cannot bear to see him with anybody else, so Krystle is just guilty by association at best and collateral damage at worse.
Alexis loved Blake. That was her reason for everything she did.
Incredible...almost Friends this two 😉
He had some plastic surgery. He looks different. Ha !
Different actor ! Lol.
🤣
Linda Evans and Joan Collins took good parts
woke up in full makeup?!
There was land lines back then...right😅😅
nice alexis
They had in common only the love for Blake
Fucking Alexis. I love her... got what she wanted.
Alexis does not take all the 3 pounds of make up to go to sleep? Yikes!
this was touching, woulda been nice if they had hugged..... i never cared for the new steven....
The first Steven l was the best Steven
Whatever happened to penoir sets?
Alexis sleeps in a wig?
Hahaha! I think you’re supposed to believe it’s her real hair

the story of the accident and subsequently of cosmetic surgery is credible, at least he did not come back from death 😆
#Dallas
I take it they replaced the actor?
Not plastic surgery to explain an actor change! 😂
People... READ the comments... you are mostly parroting each other. ;-)
If the producer is going to recast a personage he must just do it. The viewer illusion is gonna suffer a bit, but not as much as inventing an impossible perfect plastic surgery that leaves no traces of the knife.

To be honest, I would myself rather come and tell the news instead of calling. Alexis herself stated she appreciated it being told in person.

God I wanted her to say: he’s, he’s Had more than plastic surgery. You see, he’s had a sex change. He’s now she. Steven is now, Sherry.” ❤️
