  • Samsung Dishwasher LC Error Code - Insights into its Origin, Troubleshooting, and Restoration (Restore Functionality). In today’s video, we will be talking about how to fix the Samsung Dishwasher LC error. But first, what does the LC error code mean?
When the dishwasher shows an LC error, this means that its leak sensor is detecting water leaks or moisture in unwanted parts. In modern Samsung dishwashers, the lower tray has a water leakage sensor that allows it to sense any possible flooding or moisture, and then it sends a command to the pump to start dewatering the machine. This causes the panel to show an LC error code.
The following are some of the common causes of the LC error:
    • Cracks in the filling valve or water hose
    • Excess detergent
    • Damaged seal door
Let’s look at the best solutions you can apply to fix the LC error
    • Cleaning the filters
    • Examine the drain hose
    • Check the rubber seal

You are unable to run any cycle while this error is showing...so how exactly would I run a cycle to check anything?

The most common cause is the dishwasher itself not being level left to right and/or not level front to back. A 1 degree lean back is best. The door gasket only seals on the sides and top. The bottom seal is a different style, and food debris can buildup as slime and interfere with that seal.
Drain hoses do not suddenly become pinched. Even if they did, this will not send water underneath the dishwasher.
The filter basket has nothing to do with leaks under the machine.
A failed or failing water inlet valve can be the cause of water overflowing the front lip and getting underneath or leaking directly into the bottom pan where the leak sensor is.

Sorry. Seems good but it’s relatively useless for many instances. You can’t run the dishwasher, at all, when it has an “LC” code activated. Not pleased with the lifespan of this dishwasher.

So far I've tried leaving the unit unplugged for 48 hours, auto-started when plugged in and immediately registered an "LC", deep cleaned the filters with no effect, removed the pan and relocated the water sensor to higher ground with no effect. Today I'm going to remove the drainage hose and make sure it's clear and doublecheck all hose and waterline connections. I'm also going to continue searching for RUclips videos and surf the net for other potential solutions.

      @Zraddog anything I'm having a similar problem?

@@cadenkramer2017 We took it apart, no leak. Took out the sensor and it runs fine. Will replace the sensor.

How did you remove the sensor?

@@cadenkramer2017 - Just seeing this - yeah, I'd relocated the sensor and then found that some of the screws in the basin inside the unit were slightly loose, so I cleaned them up and then tightened them down and then relocated the sensor back to where it was, and all has been working fine since.

Many of the fittings literally broke like they were made out of dry play-doe after only six years. Samsung very poor quality.
