  • It can be frustrating when blinking lights and error codes flash on your dishwasher. The good news is that some basic troubleshooting should take care of the problems! First, don’t assume they mean there’s an issue. 4C, 5C, and LC are the main error codes you can troubleshoot. The 4C error code displays when water isn’t filling. To resolve, make sure water pressure and temperature meet requirements, don’t use flood-safe hoses, and confirm your water supply is turned on. 5C means that it isn’t draining properly. You might also see OC appear when there’s too much water. To resolve, check for blockage in the sink and leaks from the drain hose. LC is the leakage error code that flashes when there’s an actual leak, or it could just be an error code. If it’s a leak, run a cycle to find the source. If it’s just an error code, check your rubber seal, use the right detergent, make sure the dishwasher is level from front to back, loosen cabinet screws if you need to, and clean the nozzles and jets. You got this!
