Wow I just found your channel. You guys are going to be huge! Production values are great and your cold opens are hallarious. Its like the best of HGTV.
I had my house built in 2007 and used a similar insulation made with wool and shredded Levi Jeans. It was tightly packed in the exterior walls and keeps the house warm in the Winter and cool in the summer. My electric bills is frequently lower than my friends. I highly recommend it for it's utility cost savings. it eventually pays for itself.
Thank you for the wool insulation idea. Im using this moving forward. Allergy sufferer and natural is always better for me, kids, just breathing in general. Love it and this is 100% to do item
Love your videos !! Can’t wait to say I was here when you were at 25k subs !! Loyal fan here, that accent was so on point!! The wifey was secretly impressed I know I am !!
Why RUclips didn't recommend this channel to me sooner! I'm interacting with every video hoping you guys get more views, I absolutely loved your content!
Would y’all consider doing a video on how to know when a house is a good option to flip and what things you stay away from? Like mold or foundational issues?
I fricken love your guys' videos! You are so entertaining, I love your jokes and music, video production, etc. I also appreciate the level of tips and education you provide when your doing parts of your projects. Keep em coming!
All right. This was your best one so far. The Jackhawk Couger 1000 IS the best custom-manufactured knife in the U.S. of A, no argument, it IS okay to run with sheep shears, sheep wool DOES smell like earthy farm essence, and the screen you used to retain the wool WILL keep out mosquitos, ground worms, and nematodes. However, what it WON'T keep out is moth larvae. These larvae will not only eat the WOOL, they will continue eating until the entire HOUSE is devoured. You will return to find your house eaten, down to the foundations, smelling slightly of earthy moth-larvae poo . Seriously, this was hilarious. Loved it, loved it, loved it. Thanks!
Loving the series. I’ve looked into the wool insulation and I like the holistic approach it brings but I like rock wool better. It comes in batts you can cut it with a bread knife, it’s fire resistant up to 2100deg it’s hydrophobic and not a bug attractor all while maintaining a higher r value and if I’m correct slightly cheaper then the wool
I love you two more with each video I watch. I could have watched the whole video done in the Scottish accent! :D You have some serious accent talent there. I think farticles is a word now and you should trademark that baby in a hurry! I find the wool insulation fascinating! I grew up in a 100-year-old farmhouse with walls and carpet made with horsehair. It was slowly killing us with allergy/asthma attacks until we removed it. Horsehair and sheep wool are two totally different animals when it comes to allergies... and also animals themselves. :D Google says, "Lambswool is naturally hypoallergenic and resistant to dust mites, therefore it is good for people who have allergies. Like all wool, lambswool is breathable, while also being a natural insulator." It doesn't sound too baaaad to me!
Fantastic video quality, this is better then most TV shows! :) keep going you guys! I just inherited from a house that needs a looot of attention and you guys are so helpful I See you guys as my mentors for this project. I've been considering house flipping for some time now and you guys really inspire me. Thank you From Quebec, Canada !
Just came across your channel and truly enjoyed your videos. Re wool insulation - seeing 10 months passed since the video was uploaded, are you happy with the product, or did you notice any key disadavantage (e.g., did it attract any insects, etc)?
I'm from India and here houses are made of completely brick and stones and RCC material...vary less use of woodand food windows and doors only and no wooden flooring...but in west house are mostly made of wood...it's interesting to watch different ways to build a house in different countries ..
I’m always weary of mold. What is the discoloration of all the wood on the walls in this video? All the grey, just old dust? Do you guys often run into mold flipping old homes? Do you remediate mold yourself when you do find it? Love the videos, so helpful. Thank you!
Thanks for watching Racquel! This discolored wood is dust and soot from when we removed the chimney and all the plaster it covered everything! But we always check for lead, asbestos, and mold. I would not recommend removing yourself if you find substantial mold/asbestos/lead.
So refreshing to see a young married couple not sitting on their hands but being resourceful with so many talents and hard work..and a good chuckle just makes my day watching them. This Show Rocks!!! Keep up your uniqueness ..your humor ..and yes your never ending talents...Love What The Flip!!!!!!❤️💕❤️💕
That accent seriously funny!!!! 🤣😂🤣🤣😂🤣🤣 omg!!! I just luv luv your job!!! If you were to ask me forever 21 store vs Lowes & Home Depot I’m picking Lowes & HomeDepot 😂😂🤣
What about carpet beetles 🪲 that invade homes and will eat your clothing rugs and bedding mattresses they breed in animal hair is this type of insulation asking for a infestation?

I wonder if recycled denim is a better R value & cheaper than wool as compared to fiberglass.
Where are you situated? Love you guys!
How are you guys so good at making/editing videos.
I hope no sheep was harmed during filming this video! Fantastic channel
😂
Do you guys ever use Rtech? I'm in Alaska so that might be a bit over the top for wherever you're building
We’ve used their foam board before. We like how quick it is to install.
Wish this was in my attic instead of whatever that stuff they used.

Just saying : my brother has a pest control company that can kill the few dozen kinds of critters that live in your walls now.
What about carpet beetles 🪲 that invade homes and will eat your clothing rugs and bedding mattresses they breed in animal hair is this type of insulation asking for a infestation?
Boric Acid is added to the wool.
