No Matter how many great artist i watch, it never takes away from the greatest there ever was or ever will be. the king Elvis. thank you great reaction.
Now , at age 78 , this man still brings a smile to my face and joy to my heart ... there has never been anyone else like him . I feel sorry for all those who never got to see him perform live ... what a great talent and an even better human being . TCB Elvis !
This is why he'll always be "The King" - the musician, the performer, the entertainer - and, yes, his love and gratitude to his bandmates was genuine and he always displayed that. Thank you for helping keep his greatness alive by introducing this to today's audience.
Thank you SO much for reacting to my recommendation. This is just a straight up beautiful song, never mind that Elvis wasn't confident that he'd remember the lyrics he still delivered them masterfully. I forgot to mention that this song was a hit already for BJ Thomas before Elvis covered it. Elvis delivers and you guys also deliver another STELLAR reaction. More recommendations to come!
If you listen closely around the 6:32 mark of video, Elvis forgets lyrics for a few seconds, but he brushed it off so incredibly no one even noticed it. Watch his reaction He chuckles 😊. The only reason I noticed it is because Ive been Elvis fan for over 50 years. I noticed it several years ago. 🤣🤣 Love yalls Elvis reactions. Yall are the best.
I loved your reaction to this. The world titled him as The King Of Entertainment. No one before or since has matched his global accomplishments. He is still way ahead of everyone else. He often wandered why he The Chosen One to set the stage for the future. The Beatles were big fans, Michael Jackson saw him in concert in the early '70's, there is a long list of big performers that loved him. Mayors of the cities and high, very important people would have to come out and see him. Some of his actress' in his movies couldn't resist and would have to come see him perform and he would usually recognize them out in the audience!!!!!! Thank you, thank you very much!!!!
That’s one of my ‘Alexa, repeat the song’ when I listen to it…. Love the bass and the beat…. How awesome was Elvis?! Ahead of his time…. And timeless ❤
I’m 73 now and still feels his power of voice exceeding above all others in the music field of talented performers!! He was and still has the greatest vocals this world has and will ever know!! Thank you Jesus for allowing us to have known and hear him for a short time!
I was fortunate enough to see Elvis on stage in person twice. I must tell you that when he was on stage the aura was incredible. Like you were in the presence of royalty.
he had just learned the song so he was playing it safe with the words , but but but after the first few seconds the paper was by his side never looked at it again
The concert film these 1970 performances you've reacted to are all from a movie called "That's The Way It is" which would be a great watch for you guys whether you react to it or not. You'll see several of these performances you've reacted to in context. The movie follows Elvis and his band getting ready for this Las Vegas concert series starting with rehearsals at MGM Studios in Hollywood with just his core rhythm section, moves to a banquet room and on stage rehearsals at Vegas and then goes into the full concert - so you see the whole thing behind the scenes...There is a whole scene before the concert starts while he's in his dressing room waiting to go on about this exact song and how worried he is about forgetting the words to it. Once you see that in context, you appreciate more that he just nailed in in concert. The movie is for rent on RUclips I think as well as HBOMax...
Yes, one of his best movies/documentaries of Elvis, fantastic concert performances in the movie and also some great comedy in the rehearsals beforehand. Highly recommend the film!👍
...I was in the Alarm office(where calls came in)at the Memphis Fire Dept on 8/16/1977...when the ambulance left Graceland telling us they were heading to Baptist Hosp. on Union(we knew Elvis was back in Memphis).....it wasn't but a couple of hours after he died that we were getting calls from around the world wanting particulars on what happened. sad day for Memphians and a good portion of the world.
The other thing I really appreciated about Elvis was when he was asked of any comments of any other artists Elvis spoke and said no I won't criticize anyone. He said I believe there's room for most any artist.
I really like you two. You make me smile from ear to ear. ❤️ From a very old Elvis fan in the U.K. 🇬🇧 He's remained my number 1 from when I was 9 yrs old. Talking about his appreciation of his musicians and vocalists, take a look from Elvis on Tour when he's asks us to listen to The Stamps sing Sweet Sweet Spirit. Elvis doesn't sing but his reaction says it all! His respect! Elvis never was egotistical, self obsessed or narcissistic, just humble, respectful, appreciative and a gentleman. Always charming. So endearing! Thank you for your critique. Elvis was not just a rock n roller to be dismissed; he was a great entertainer with an INCREDIBLE voice, vocal range and made every song his own! Inimitable: beautiful! ❤️❤️❤️👌👌👌🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🎶🎶🎶🌈🌈🌈🤗🤗🤗⚡️⚡️⚡️
If you watch the documentary "Elvis That's The Way It Is" he is backstage befire the performance so scared he is going to forget these words. He was so human. Great man❤❤. Thank you for your reaction. Was great.
You guys are awesome! Too cute! I'm 60 and loved Elvis my whole life. He was/is magical as you have discovered. There are a couple of songs you've got to check out. Steamroller Blues (Aloha, From Hawaii) Sweet Caroline (Vegas 1970) Never Been Spain 1972 (Elvis On Tour). I cannot even begin to tell you how much he meant to me. If you haven't heard Black Velvet by Alannah Myles check it out; it is about Elvis. 💜🐅
He is so respectful of his companions. I love how he turns to face them becoming part of the audience, honoring them in front of everyone. He was just a great guy, what can I say😁👏👏💖. Thanks guys, great job I can tell you really enjoy what your doing.
Thanks guys you are so great to react to the king. Sometime maybe you can react to a jazz number he does called "Reconsider Baby". It is early Elvis, auto only but super cool. In an addition famed saxophone artist the great Boots Randolph, and legendary pianist Floyd Kramer. Elvis had the best musicians in history. Thanks, and Be Blessed.
Did you know? In 1970 Elvis was named One of the Ten Outstanding Young Men by the United States Junior Chamber of Jaycees…He accepted this Award in person & was very proud of it. Certainly Deserved !
Another great reaction guys, thank you. If Elvis had decided to make a studio recording of this song, in Nashville during June 1970 for example, would it have been any better than this performance which became the RCA master? Personally I have my doubts since to me this is beyond perfection and as such I must nail my colours to the mast and admit that this is my all time favourite Elvis recording. To create a musical masterpiece within the studio environment, Suspicious Minds for example, is one thing when you have a top rate producer (Chips Moman) a single minded determined artist (Elvis) and the best possible material and tools (the song and band) where you can take as many takes as necessary. To make a classic like this in one take in a live environment is something most singers can only aspire to. If there is one line to sum up this song (and Bridge Over Troubled Water from the same show) and Elvis Presley in August 1970 in particular it is this - Many can sing but only few can perform!! Released by B.J. Thomas earlier the same year this version shows Elvis at his very, very best as the vocal is relaxed yet powerful, both band and orchestra are virtually flawless. Elvis' singing of the word 'girl' at the end of the first verse is almost unbelievable! This version, from 11 August Dinner Show, was selected both for the movie and to open the original That’s The Way It Is 1970 album and due to public demand was released as a single in the UK reaching #6.
That man is so smooth no one can outdo him no matter what song you sent his way, since we're so close to Christmas I like to see you guys react to Elvis Presley Merry Christmas baby ❤️
I really love watching your reaction videos on Elvis....what I like most is that, as musicians yourselves, you show respect to Elvis because you can relate to what he is going through on stage if that makes sense. Also I can see in your expressions how the magic of Elvis touches your hearts. Btw I've checked out some of your songs and you're an awesome group as well!
I'm really glad to find your channel! Terrific personalities. One request to consider please. Love your dialogue but maybe when you pause the videos to comment, just take the video back a few seconds when you resume. It makes a difference to the viewers. All the best to you both!
Good review. Nerd trivia: at 6:35 of the video he botches the line "when she smile-whispering her magic" (he turns to the band and shrugs) in the movie this is from "That's the way it is" he was practicing the lyrics at a table and missed the exact same line, must have been a mental block.
I am probably one of the biggest Elvis fans on the Planet. I was surprised to find out that Elvis never wrote a song. You will find his name on some labels but Parker had to make deals with the writer to allow Elvis to share the credit.
I'm not sure if you know this but that performance recorded was the one they released as the single to the public. Not bad for a song he had to read to sing. ❤😇😇
Great reaction guys to a video I have probably seen over 40 times I guess, but still got right into it and your reaction but still got agitated when the ads came on, yes I know they are a necessity 😊😊
I love ,love this. Thank you so much. He was so good I am his age. Kids i think my daughter that to me to Orlando Florida a couple of times, we was at the Disney all over. I'm sure we watched a show of yours. She passed away September 24th 2021.
I lived through the Elvis era. He had crazy charisma that appealed to both men and women. I'm sure many a guy was OK with giving their wife a "hall pass" when it came to Elvis. You can see it in these old videos. Guys were floored to get his autograph. He was so unique.
Enjoy all your Elvis reactions. But can't find your reaction of "Trying to get to you" from the 1968 show. I am in the UK and the first Elvis record I bought was Teddy Bear in the the 50's and have been an Elvis fan ever since. Loved the Elvis film, Austin did a great portrayal of the King Joy x
He could never remember the words to this particular song & if you listen carefully you’ll spot he still starts to sing one part wrong but picks it up real quick & smirks
Travis & Suzi Even Mariah Carey had words of her famous holiday song, "All I want for Christmas is you" on teleprompter during Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The GOLDEN VOICE does it AGAIN!! The Greatest Of All Time ( GOAT )!!!
There was no one like Elvis, and there will never be

I totally agree with you 😊

He brings a smile to my face as well, every day!
Great men never die, they are immortal!
Me too, at 58. Saw him in concert with some family friends 50 yrs ago in Ft Worth. Will always love and miss him
This is live, folks, incredible. Elvis always had stage fright, no matter how many shows he did.
This is why he'll always be "The King" - the musician, the performer, the entertainer - and, yes, his love and gratitude to his bandmates was genuine and he always displayed that.
Thank you for helping keep his greatness alive by introducing this to today's audience.
It is SOO REFRESHING to see you guys react so positively to Elvis and what he brought the world. Very enjoyable guys!
This is arguabably the greatest single elvis performance live, its just pure perfection
Thank you SO much for reacting to my recommendation. This is just a straight up beautiful song, never mind that Elvis wasn't confident that he'd remember the lyrics he still delivered them masterfully. I forgot to mention that this song was a hit already for BJ Thomas before Elvis covered it.

He (ELVIS) just oozes masculinity!
He actually forgets the lyrics at about 6:30 and chuckles his “Elvis chuckle” afterwards. Great reaction! Much love ❤️

One of my favourite live elvis 70s tracks. Awesome.
I don't think that at this present time in the world there is as many Elvis imitators of Elvis as there is today 2024.

Elvis never got over his stage freight to the very end, his shaking leg from the early beginnings was from stage freight.
