I saw the rest of the Grammys and everyone did very well but BTS was on another level just like the MMA award show. BTS at the MMA 2019 made me want to be an ARMY. It was an award show and it was better than any concert i've ever seen. I had to see BTS live after that MMA 2019 video. I went to PDT LA, my 1st BTS concert, and now I'm in Las Vegas!! Their concerts are something to be experienced, videos can really reflect the energy between BTS and ARMY
Jhope and Jungkook just had Covid days before that performance, and Jin just had his finger surgery. But they all nailed it. I love these Kings! To think they only had 1 day to practice this as a whole group. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I watched the whole show live. Billboard voted BTS as the best performance of the night and fan surveys have come to the same conclusion. On April 8th when this was posted, I was in Vegas at my first BTS concert! They were amazing. There was a lot of purple hair leaving the airport yesterday, so many Army make the flight for them. There was also a pop up exhibit at AREA15 and they had BTS music videos on the big screen, like a drive in movie screen, but it was in a courtyard. Very cool.
Boy i can't wait to see your jaw drop to their 2019 and 2020 MMA and MAMA performances if you think this was amazing!! They absolutely stole the Grammy's and ate it up!!! Funny thing is even though their concerts are hella crazy, their award show performances are insanely nuts!! Anyone who's performing after them - RIP!! I just gotta say I've just watched the Grammy performance of Butter and omg I loved the concept of them being being art (heart) thieves. the dance break was just wowzer and amazing and jin did so well joining in on the last chorus eventho every tiny movement hurts his hand. Also this performance to me must be my fav performance of Butter and I sure hope that their next comeback has a spy/art thieve type concept and this performance had me speechless and just amazed. Also every member was amazing and totally wrecked me.
In the absence of Jin and Jungkook J-Hope, only 4 people practiced, and the day before the Grammy Awards, 7 people gathered and practiced for just one day. They are great professionals.
Every live performance I’ve seen from them has breathed fresh new life into whatever song they’re singing. It’s an entirely new experience each time, no matter how often you may have heard the song before. That’s what I love about their live performances - they are true artistic masterpieces and they make a spectacle in the most beautiful and awe-inspiring way possible. The realist and cynic in me realizes that the Grammy’s in particular (but all American awards shows) have been using BTS as the main drive to get people to watch the show. They know BTS will always put on an incredible performance that will be talked about for days/weeks after. The fact that the Grammy’s in particular does this, yet fails to recognize their artistic merit and give them the respect (and awards) they deserve is truly heartbreaking. However, I’m really hoping that BTS will inspire a new wave of live performances at awards shows and that American shows in particular realize that just having the artist get up on stage and sing isn’t enough compared to the jaw-dropping spectacles BTS and overseas shows continue to give us

Sure i have seen it live. It was so amazing. And the problem was, Jhope came later to LV because his Quarantene, JK was in Quarantene until 1 Day before the Grammys and Jin had a surgary and could not practice. So they had to practice with 4 member until 1 day before the Grammys. Then they had only one day to practice together. They are the most professional Dancer and Singer in the world. I love them so much.

I am so proud of these guys! I've never been a fan or followed other artists. BTS found me less than 4 months ago and I already know I will be ARMY forever. The amount of difficulties they've been through this year, and presenting this high quality performance... amazing! They deserve the world.
Me too! They entered in my life last year and since they I've been hearing them every single day! Music ihave been a constant in my life (64yo), but I never felt the way I feel about them.
This OT7 performance almost didn’t happen! JHope couldn’t fly in until Saturday, the day before the show due to getting Covid and quarantine rules. Jungkook got Covid in Vegas a week prior and had to have 2 negative tests in order to participate😱 The stars really aligned and it was their density to perform as 7💜 Grammy or not, ARMYs will only remember how much BTS has changed our lives through their music and messages, and not the # of trophies they received💜
I love that! One thing I've seen in my short journey into the world of BTS is how wonderful and kind the army around them is! Just the most supportive and positive community! Really does sound like the stars aligned for this ❤️

What was really cool, was the fancams from the audience. You could hear how in sync the guys were with not just their footsteps, but the way their jackets all hit the stage at the same time, too! Definitely amazing. Love these guys. Though I do have to say that Jon Batiste's performance was the only other one that was great! And now it seems like he and Taehyung are buddies. Of course lol

Keep in mind they had only ONE DAY with all 7 members to rehearse this. The first days RM, Jimin, V and SUGA were the only ones who could rehearse the whole thing, while JHope was still in Korea for his last days of quarantine and JK quarantining in Vegas and Jin out of commission because of the hand surgery. I watched it live to see BTS, and yes, they stole the Grammy's and blessed everyone in that audience with their talent, charisma and swag. Not taking anything from the other artists, as there were some nice performances but BTS is perfection!! I felt so proud. 💜 👍

It was out of this world! They only had 1 day to rehearse it as 7 due to JHope and Jungkook both having covid just days before, Jin had surgery on his finger so couldn't join in with the main dance routine but did join in at the end. The rehearsal the day before they messed it up 2 out of the 3 times so they really didn't know if they would get it right but they absolutely nailed it! Jhope fell over near the beginning as well and I bet you didn't even notice because he recovered so well!
BTS are absolutely amazing live! I just spent the last two days at their concert in Las Vegas and it was wild! They are so good at what they do and they bring so many people pure happiness! The high of seeing them perform live is like no other and I think you can tell by watching any of their live performance videos. I’m excited to see you check out more live stuff. I would also recommend the 2019 MAMA performance as well as the live performance of Mikrokosmos they posted for Festa last June.

They ALMOST couldn’t perform as a whole group. They left J-Hope behind because he was finishing his quarantine, and then Jungkook was literally one day out of quarantine when they did this performance. J-Hope landed I think like the day before the Grammys. Jin was off to the side because he had finger surgery so he couldn’t be a part of the large dance scenes. But look what they did! It’s like the heavens opened up and said “BTS shall be 7 at the Grammys” and it all worked out. ARMY are still pretty burned though by the Grammys because BTS were only nominated for one award and didn’t win it, even though their performance and award was heavily advertised. But BTS just made a stop at the Grammys; their real reason for being in Las Vegas was to perform 4 sold out shows! The whole city is literally turning purple for them! Thank you for your reaction! The pure joy on your face is so amazing to watch, and I feel like it’s good for my mental health 💜
They totally stole the show like you said! My favorite part was the card trick later on in the dance. When you said raise the volume I immediately went, "Yes Sir!" I was in a dark place for a time and that was when BTS came up randomly and it just changed my life. You've said a couple of things that resonated with me about the experience of meeting BTS's art, and that's how good they make you feel! and that is healing! Your words are very nice, and I think that due to the authenticity of the healing work that these artists have gone through, and of questioning their attitude towards life every day ((as they have said in many interviews) is that they can reach people like you or like me, from different countries, ages, genders and life experiences. .

When i watched butter grammy live I was so excited and happy the whole live. I mean having the performance James bond themed was an excellent idea. They all nailed it even after jungkook and jhope just recovered and jin's injury they still did amazing. They all made us so proud of them. I'm sad they didn't get the grammy award but they will get one some day. I love all of them to pieces. 💜💜💜

if bts did in US award shows the level of performance they do in Asian ones... like, this is 10% of their power and they EASILY won over the entire thing. imagine... the US would never recover haha one little thing i really like is that, since jin wasn't doing the choreo, in the part he's supposed to be in the center, they didn't change the formation, the center is empty. idk it's just cool to me how they don't change the formation when a member is missing

The fact that they rehearsed together only one day is insane... the jackets trick, the lasers... all, without JHope and JungKook and how it all went excellent
I watched it live...in awe. My son called me on the phone (doesn't listen to BTS, but I'm working on him) to say, "Wow, they're amazing!" When Taehyung threw that card to Jungkook, that was real. No tricks. The jacket dance move , blew me away. On V Live after, they said it had a 60-40 chance of pulling it off. And 2 of them recovering Covid, and Jin with a finger injury. Everyone agrees they stole the Grammy's, even if they didn't get one.

BTS are amazing performers I've never seen another artist that can match their energy XD
Sure i have seen it live. It was so amazing. And the problem was, Jhope came later to LV because his Quarantene, JK was in Quarantene until 1 Day before the Grammys and Jin had a surgary and could not practice. So they had to practice with 4 member until 1 day before the Grammys. Then they had only one day to practice together. They are the most professional Dancer and Singer in the world. I love them so much.

I am so proud of these guys! I've never been a fan or followed other artists. BTS found me less than 4 months ago and I already know I will be ARMY forever. The amount of difficulties they've been through this year, and presenting this high quality performance... amazing! They deserve the world.
Me too! They entered in my life last year and since they I've been hearing them every single day! Music ihave been a constant in my life (64yo), but I never felt the way I feel about them.
BTS is my source of happiness... And now your reaction to them is also becoming a source of happiness for me.

This OT7 performance almost didn’t happen! JHope couldn’t fly in until Saturday, the day before the show due to getting Covid and quarantine rules. Jungkook got Covid in Vegas a week prior and had to have 2 negative tests in order to participate😱
The stars really aligned and it was their density to perform as 7💜
Grammy or not, ARMYs will only remember how much BTS has changed our lives through their music and messages, and not the # of trophies they received💜

What was really cool, was the fancams from the audience. You could hear how in sync the guys were with not just their footsteps, but the way their jackets all hit the stage at the same time, too! Definitely amazing. Love these guys. Though I do have to say that Jon Batiste's performance was the only other one that was great! And now it seems like he and Taehyung are buddies. Of course lol
Forgive me commenting so many times but JHope when he is performing his part, you can feel the joy thru the screen. They are all pure joy.

Keep in mind they had only ONE DAY with all 7 members to rehearse this. The first days RM, Jimin, V and SUGA were the only ones who could rehearse the whole thing, while JHope was still in Korea for his last days of quarantine and JK quarantining in Vegas and Jin out of commission because of the hand surgery.

I watched it live to see BTS, and yes, they stole the Grammy's and blessed everyone in that audience with their talent, charisma and swag. Not taking anything from the other artists, as there were some nice performances but BTS is perfection!! I felt so proud. 💜 👍

It was out of this world! They only had 1 day to rehearse it as 7 due to JHope and Jungkook both having covid just days before, Jin had surgery on his finger so couldn't join in with the main dance routine but did join in at the end. The rehearsal the day before they messed it up 2 out of the 3 times so they really didn't know if they would get it right but they absolutely nailed it! Jhope fell over near the beginning as well and I bet you didn't even notice because he recovered so well!
The story behind this performance really does just show how amazing they are!
BTS are absolutely amazing live! I just spent the last two days at their concert in Las Vegas and it was wild! They are so good at what they do and they bring so many people pure happiness! The high of seeing them perform live is like no other and I think you can tell by watching any of their live performance videos. I’m excited to see you check out more live stuff. I would also recommend the 2019 MAMA performance as well as the live performance of Mikrokosmos they posted for Festa last June.

I even heard mentioned that they practiced separately by 2 or 3 , not together at all. To be so synced up together. I was floored too. You should watch the Mama 2018 Idol performance. You will be floored with that too. So awesome, they are, yes magic and more magic.

They ALMOST couldn’t perform as a whole group. They left J-Hope behind because he was finishing his quarantine, and then Jungkook was literally one day out of quarantine when they did this performance. J-Hope landed I think like the day before the Grammys. Jin was off to the side because he had finger surgery so he couldn’t be a part of the large dance scenes. But look what they did! It’s like the heavens opened up and said “BTS shall be 7 at the Grammys” and it all worked out. ARMY are still pretty burned though by the Grammys because BTS were only nominated for one award and didn’t win it, even though their performance and award was heavily advertised. But BTS just made a stop at the Grammys; their real reason for being in Las Vegas was to perform 4 sold out shows! The whole city is literally turning purple for them! Thank you for your reaction! The pure joy on your face is so amazing to watch, and I feel like it’s good for my mental health 💜
They totally stole the show like you said! My favorite part was the card trick later on in the dance.
When you said raise the volume I immediately went, "Yes Sir!"
I was in a dark place for a time and that was when BTS came up randomly and it just changed my life. They are truly amazing people that make you happy. 💜

Thank you for your reactions, I always like them a lot. You've said a couple of things that resonated with me about the experience of meeting BTS's art, and that's how good they make you feel! and that is healing! Your words are very nice, and I think that due to the authenticity of the healing work that these artists have gone through, and of questioning their attitude towards life every day ((as they have said in many interviews) is that they can reach people like you or like me, from different countries, ages, genders and life experiences. .
The audience were on their feet long before the end of the performance. It was fantastic!
No one, literally no one does it better than BTS, even when just having Covid and finger surgery. Again, NO ONE! I can't say that enough. They're a masterclass masterpiece! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

When i watched butter grammy live I was so excited and happy the whole live. I mean having the performance James bond themed was an excellent idea. They all nailed it even after jungkook and jhope just recovered and jin's injury they still did amazing. They all made us so proud of them. I'm sad they didn't get the grammy award but they will get one some day. I love all of them to pieces. 💜💜💜
If you think this was their best live performance, wait until you watch MMA2019. Just so you know, it’s kinda like the Asian Grammy and they had almost 40min of the craziest show you’ve ever seen. I’m sure you’re not gonna see any other artists performance the same 😎💜

one little thing i really like is that, since jin wasn't doing the choreo, in the part he's supposed to be in the center, they didn't change the formation, the center is empty. idk it's just cool to me how they don't change the formation when a member is missing

I watched it live...in awe. My son called me on the phone (doesn't listen to BTS, but I'm working on him) to say, "Wow, they're amazing!" When Taehyung threw that card to Jungkook, that was real. No tricks. The jacket dance move , blew me away. On V Live after, they said it had a 60-40 chance of pulling it off. And 2 of them recovering Covid, and Jin with a finger injury. Everyone agrees they stole the Grammy's, even if they didn't get one.
