I definitely felt "weird" with how much happiness bts brought me when I first got into them. I think alot of people feel this way about them so you're not the only one. I listen to a few different kpop groups too and non kpop bands and I'd have to say no one does it like bts. I don't have the words to describe what it is they do thats different but it's just something about them that's unlike the rest. There is NO ONE like them! I'm not kidding you when I say ever since I discovered BTS I have not had the time or even the inclination to listen to many other artists because the members of BTS are the complete package. Any genre you want - they got a song... So BTS IS THE GENRE I listen to. PS: can't wait to see "pieces of your brain coming out of your ears" when you watch MMA 2019. I remember watching it the day it was broadcast and thinking... I'm in la la land and BTS rules here. 😂
re MMA 2019 best to watch it in one go since the transition of their performances there really builds up the finale and also knowing how BTS designs their performances, there's always a story and cohesiveness within it. for spring day, watch the MV first but keep an eye out for every minute detail. you'd be surprised how it relates to the story and inspiration behind it.
"Spring Day" is called the Queen of BTS songs. It's a really beautiful piece and has never left the Top 50 Gaon digital charts for years since it's release in 2017. Fair warning though - the song in itself is a sad one but the inspiration for the MV is even more tragic. Your heart will ache and this time you might cry due to all the emotions both the song and the MV will bring.

DNA was the second song I heard from BTS (after Dynamite), and Tae's part in the beginning describes how he captured my attention from the get go for me to find and love BTS 💜 Before I knew who they were and even noticing their beautiful faces, I couldn't take my eyes off of him. I didn't understand how I couldn't take my eyes off of one of them if I couldn't even tell them apart, it was as if: "at first sight I could recognize you as if we were calling for each other. The DNA in my blood vessel tells me that it's you I was looking all over for" 💜 So my blood, heart and soul recognized BTS as part of me before my brain could fathom their existence.
When you said you can see their passion... so true, but I gotta admit the first thing that popped into my head was a blurb from V (they were watching an older video of themselves) and one of them commented how you can see the passion in their eyes and V quipped back, "that's the eyeliner" Had to share as it made me grin. Love these guys so much.
My heart is with your heart. I found them on February 24, 2020. They performed "On" on the Jimmy Fallon show. It was recorded at the Grand Central Station in New York City. I was overwhelmed at the professional production, their talent, their choreography, their energy, their style, and their creativity. From that day forward I have watched their content every day since then. I understand your followers are "taking you all over the world". But please follow your heart ...please choose your happiness and choose to concentrate on them for awhile. There is so much to discover about them. I told you I have dedicated every day to them, and I still haven't seen all they have created. I won't even list all their content, but it lies in waiting. Knowing you... your heart and happiness deserve more. Sometimes I watch their RunBTS TV show episodes very late at night. I found them the same night. Just gotten home from working late, was exhausted and in a horrible pissed at everything mood. Turned on Fallon looking for a few laughs and found the best comedians ever. Never in my life had I ever cackled until watching BTS. 🤣🤣🤣

Jin's voice is freakin' AMAZING! Oh, Luke, you just HAVE to listen to his solo song Epiphany. This song is just so personal to me as its the very first song me and my boyfriend (of 5 years this agust) ever listened to as a couple and it'd also our couple song. It was also during this era the year this song was released when me and him first started dating so you could say BTS brought us together and I was fate and destiny that we were to meet and that we were soul mates. Also this MV is so bright and full of colours and happiness which just makes me smile and just feel happy about life and it reminds me that I'll always have someone by myside

I would recommend u to listen to spring day but along with the explanation video coz that's like a must when it comes to spring day. It's the queen of all the songs and has a really deep meaning and holds a special place in every Korean's heart. This was the first BTS song I had officially heard/watched the music video for. (Before this, I had already heard Butterfly, Blood Sweat & Tears, Run, Save Me, I Need You, Dope, Fire, but I didn't know they were BTS songs) I remember it was the day DNA premiered on youtube, I clicked on the video in my recommendations because the thumbnail looked fun, and then JK's whistle hooked me! Since then I've been Army! 💜

I’ve gotta tell you… SPRING DAY will affect you, in an extreme way. There’s a reason it’s known as “THE QUEEN.” It’s an absolutely gorgeously written song about one of the absolutely saddest, most horrific events/crimes in Korean history, if not all of human history. You will never be the same after experiencing this. The Italian video that others have mentioned is so well done. Be prepared to pause frequently to read the information on the screen, plus their accent takes a bit of getting used to. Also, if you can fit it in, the dance practice for SPRING DAY is very much worth watching (as are ALL of their dance practices, by the way). There’s a couple different versions including a “lovely” version, for a bit of lightheartedness, but the original one should be your first stop. I also love their debut videos, which include NO MORE DREAM, WE ARE BULLETPROOF PART 2, and N.O, followed by BOY IN LUV and DANGER. The dance practices for each of these videos should also be required viewing. They are amazing! You’ll see, not surprisingly, how sharp and clean their choreography was, right from the beginning. There’s also some pre-debut stuff that will just blow your mind, like the SBS DANCE PRACTICE and the BTS CONCEPT TRAILER in all its versions. Short but amazing. I’m not sure what all is on your list, but the MV for DOPE is the one that really got them noticed on the world’s stage, so I recommend that, as well as NOT TODAY, for a great song with amazing cinematography. Are you aware of the existence of the BU? The BANGTAN UNIVERSE? It’s a rabbit hole within a rabbit hole. I think you’re ready for it whenever you plan to take the plunge. If you’re interested, we can give you a bit of background on what to expect. Your BTS reactions are just amazing. It’s so validating to watch someone go through this experience, feeling the exact same things that we all felt when we first watched the same videos! It’s like yes, this, THIS, is what it is to experience BTS. And it’s crazy when you think that you’re still essentially at the beginning of this whole thing. There’s so much more yet to come, and we are all here for it!

I definitely recommend watching their dance practices!! The videos really show just how talented they are at dancing, and there are a lot more intricate moves that aren’t even in their music videos. One of my favs is their 2019 MMA Dionysus dance practice!

BTS moves people with their music. It's not an opinion, it's a fact. I started my kpop journey as an ARMY and they were there for me when I needed it. I was able to recover and come out of the dark place I was in, and then I didn't really need them anymore if that makes sense. I have a different group as my ult now that is closer to my age that I can relate to a lot more. But I will always love them and appreciate them, even if I don't keep up as actively with their activities. BTS are world-changing and touch people's hearts and lives. It's amazing.

This MV in particular is what really helped push BTS into the American market - they were the very first k-pop group to perform on an American award show (AMAs in 2017) and while they killed the song, the US camera work was absolute shit and the mics were pretty bad. For a lot of people BTS came out of nowhere to start their global domination and never saw their previous struggles before being invited to the AMAs which they thought might be the highest they'd ever achieve. Yoongi/Suga said that he cried in the shower after because he was scared that they would freefall and while this was a turning point for them it also brought out another level of struggles. The boys never imagined that they would become a WORLDWIDE name and they were dealing with the pressure of being the next "big" thing. While DNA is a bright, poppy song that's the title track from Love Yourself: Her which focuses on that feeling of being in love; butterflies, rainbows and unicorns. Their next album Love Yourself: Tear carries a much heavier meaning since the theme delves into what happens when the shine wears off and the cracks in a relationship (romantically, platonically or even within yourself) begin to show. Yoongi dropped a bomb when he said Outro: Tear was written when they as a group were thinking about disbanding because of the insane pressure that resulted from their success with DNA. Finally we get to the last Love Yourself album which is Answer and like the name implies it's full of self reflection and needing to learn to love ourselves, warts and all, before we can love anyone else. I discovered BTS around the time IDOL was released in August 2018 and I can't tell you how much they helped me get through some pretty rough patches. I found them right when I needed them and for that I'll never be able to express how much that means to me in words.
BTS will grab you by the heart and the hips every single time! Also, you don't sound weird. They hit us all emotionally. And that's what makes them special!

I definitely felt "weird" with how much happiness bts brought me when I first got into them. I think alot of people feel this way about them so you're not the only one. I listen to a few different kpop groups too and non kpop bands and I'd have to say no one does it like bts. I don't have the words to describe what it is they do thats different but it's just something about them that's unlike the rest. I'm glad you've been enjoying them and all the other artists you've been discovering 😊

"Spring Day" is called the Queen of BTS songs. It's a really beautiful piece and has never left the Top 50 Gaon digital charts for years since it's release in 2017. Fair warning though - the song in itself is a sad one but the inspiration for the MV is even more tragic. Your heart will ache and this time you might cry due to all the emotions both the song and the MV will bring.

This song is just so personal to me as its the very first song me and my boyfriend (of 5 years this agust) ever listened to as a couple and it'd also our couple song.
It was also during this era the year this song was released when me and him first started dating so you could say BTS brought us together and I was fate and destiny that we were to meet and that we were soul mates.

(Before this, I had already heard Butterfly, Blood Sweat & Tears, Run, Save Me, I Need You, Dope, Fire, but I didn't know they were BTS songs) I remember it was the day DNA premiered on youtube, I clicked on the video in my recommendations because the thumbnail looked fun, and then JK's whistle hooked me! Since then I've been Army! 💜

I am totally into "dark" music (gothic, post punk, dark wave, rock), but I love BTS. I am baby army 👀
I’ve gotta tell you… SPRING DAY will affect you, in an extreme way. There’s a reason it’s known as “THE QUEEN.” It’s an absolutely gorgeously written song about one of the absolutely saddest, most horrific events/crimes in Korean history, if not all of human history. You will never be the same after experiencing this. The Italian video that others have mentioned is so well done. Be prepared to pause frequently to read the information on the screen, plus their accent takes a bit of getting used to. Also, if you can fit it in, the dance practice for SPRING DAY is very much worth watching (as are ALL of their dance practices, by the way). There’s a couple different versions including a “lovely” version, for a bit of lightheartedness, but the original one should be your first stop. I also love their debut videos, which include NO MORE DREAM, WE ARE BULLETPROOF PART 2, and N.O, followed by BOY IN LUV and DANGER. The dance practices for each of these videos should also be required viewing. They are amazing! You’ll see, not surprisingly, how sharp and clean their choreography was, right from the beginning. There’s also some pre-debut stuff that will just blow your mind, like the SBS DANCE PRACTICE and the BTS CONCEPT TRAILER in all its versions. Short but amazing.
I’m not sure what all is on your list, but the MV for DOPE is the one that really got them noticed on the world’s stage, so I recommend that, as well as NOT TODAY, for a great song with amazing cinematography. Are you aware of the existence of the BU? The BANGTAN UNIVERSE? It’s a rabbit hole within a rabbit hole. I think you’re ready for it whenever you plan to take the plunge. If you’re interested, we can give you a bit of background on what to expect.
Your BTS reactions are just amazing. It’s so validating to watch someone go through this experience, feeling the exact same things that we all felt when we first watched the same videos! I definitely recommend watching their dance practices!! The videos really show just how talented they are at dancing, and there are a lot more intricate moves that aren’t even in their music videos. One of my favs is their 2019 MMA Dionysus dance practice!

BTS moves people with their music. It's not an opinion, it's a fact. I started my kpop journey as an ARMY and they were there for me when I needed it. I was able to recover and come out of the dark place I was in, and then I didn't really need them anymore if that makes sense. I have a different group as my ult now that is closer to my age that I can relate to a lot more. But I will always love them and appreciate them, even if I don't keep up as actively with their activities. BTS are world-changing and touch people's hearts and lives. It's amazing.

This MV in particular is what really helped push BTS into the American market - they were the very first k-pop group to perform on an American award show (AMAs in 2017) and while they killed the song, the US camera work was absolute shit and the mics were pretty bad. For a lot of people BTS came out of nowhere to start their global domination and never saw their previous struggles before being invited to the AMAs which they thought might be the highest they'd ever achieve. Yoongi/Suga said that he cried in the shower after because he was scared that they would freefall and while this was a turning point for them it also brought out another level of struggles. The boys never imagined that they would become a WORLDWIDE name and they were dealing with the pressure of being the next "big" thing. While DNA is a bright, poppy song that's the title track from Love Yourself: Her which focuses on that feeling of being in love; butterflies, rainbows and unicorns. Their next album Love Yourself: Tear carries a much heavier meaning since the theme delves into what happens when the shine wears off and the cracks in a relationship (romantically, platonically or even within yourself) begin to show. Yoongi dropped a bomb when he said Outro: Tear was written when they as a group were thinking about disbanding because of the insane pressure that resulted from their success with DNA. Finally we get to the last Love Yourself album which is Answer and like the name implies it's full of self reflection and needing to learn to love ourselves, warts and all, before we can love anyone else. I discovered BTS around the time IDOL was released in August 2018 and I can't tell you how much they helped me get through some pretty rough patches. I found them right when I needed them and for that I'll never be able to express how much that means to me in words.

I love how open minded you are about all kinds of music. You should watch BTS perform DNA on 2017 AMAS. When Yoongi starts his part, you cannot even hear him because the cheering is so loud. It was their American debut. And what a gift they are to all of us.
