Actually they said that they couldn't nail the jacket choreography in any of their practices, especially because some of them had covid and weren't able to join the practices up until the last days. They were so relieved and excited after their performance and informed us that everything magically worked out and they pulled it off. Also Jin's hand was injured during that show, that's why he couldn't dance with them.

Ohhh Nathan I will never forget that Grammy performance. Even Now I was so nervous to watch it . What a time that was. Hobi and JK had Covid and JK was negative only one day before. Jin had a hand injury and decided to not perform with them on stage but at the side. So only RM, Jimin ,SUGA and V practiced alone and it was funny and chaos. Cause they need Hobi for performances like that. He leads them and gives them confidence . So you said they practiced the jacket thingy till they were confined …? Nope😂 they had one day and it never worked. They just decided to believe in eachother that it’ll work. They are truly so amazing 🤩
Jimin had an appendectomy about a month ago before this performance…Jhope had to stay in Korea recovering from COVID…Jungkook had to go into Quarantine as soon as he got to USA…Jin had surgery on his finger which was why he was at a desk in the opening of this performance and Jhope got in like day before or day of Grammys so making this performance perfect was not working for them but they did it anyway….sheer perfection for BTS!
This was a great performance. A lot going on behind the scenes too. Jungkook and Hobi came down with Covid, they arrived late and didn't have as much time to practice. But they still pulled it off!

They did card trick in their choreo because this Grammy was happening in Las Vegas. They didn't have much time to practice their dance routine, only the day before all 7 could get together. Hobi and Jk got covid and got released just in time (almost didn't make the show and made us worried).
They didn't have much time to practice the full routine of the Las Vegas stage. They did have that in Seoul. Otherwise it would not have been possible at all.

They did them in Seoul and they changed them as Jin had to sit it out. I'm well aware that there were problems but they began the training with at least a month before they had to fly out.
Don’t know if anyone said but the reason Jin isn’t dancing with the rest is that he had surgery on his finger just before but they made it work so well! Such professionals!
One of the best iconic performance on Grammy. BTS knows how to put on a show and they always work really hard for their fans and audience. They deserved the standing ovation.

Every live performance of Butter is amazing and a little different. They had very little time to prepare for this performance so this just shows you how talented they all are.
I know everyone has already filled you in on the little practice they had for this. Just shows you how amazing they are. Jin was also recovering from hand surgery and that’s why he couldn’t dance. I thought this performance was breathtaking. BTS performed like the true stars/celebrities they are. I normally do not watch the Grammy's because I alway felt disappointed. But BTS changed my outlook.
They actually practiced separately and only did it a few times together cos Jung Kook and Hobi arrived last minute after getting covid. Jin had a hand operation so was sat out. Hobi had lack of sleep and didn’t know the layout of the stage and tripped in the very beginning but he pulled it off and not many people noticed. If u rewatch this again, watch the back drop. Slowly the paintings go missing like they’ve been stolen. The jacket lock was done once before but with just Jimin and Jung Kook when they did a dance to Michael Jacksons Black and White.
Yes Nathan do another BTS song cover, I remember Suga recalled that they had a tough time during rehearsals as Jin, who was only part of the second half of the performance, had surgery on his index finger. Meanwhile, J-Hope and Jungkook had to be in quarantine, after testing positive for Covid-19. Suga said that it was unlikely that the band would be delivering a performance of that scale anytime soon.The performance went off without a hitch anyway.

The jacket bit didn't work out a lot of the time in their practices, so they were really nervous about doing it in the live performance. You can see Hobi's huge smile when it works out perfectly. While it would be great if the guys could see your cover of Fake Love, as of a few days ago all seven members have entered the South Korean military for their mandatory service, so it's much harder for even the power of ARMY to bring things to their attention as their online/cell phone time is severely limited.

Nathan!!!! Finally!!! Been suggesting this performance since I first saw your dive into BTS! Behind the scenes: JK was in LV and 6 days prior tested + for Covid his first day. Hobi also in Korea had Covid. He had to clear before he could fly out. They just barely squeaked in by about 24 hrs. Jin had just had surgery on his hand, why he us in the control space and joined them at the end. Hobi almost fell in the opening and in the very end JK almost tripped and fell coming down the steps.(Covid takes it out of you). Behind on the screen is subliminal messages flashing. As the artwork is stolen it is replaced by messages from BTS to ARMY. And V said he was just mumbling nonsense into Olivia's ear.. And Olivia won 2? Grammys that night! And that was HER at the same table. And with all the great work BTS has done. They have yet to win a Grammy with 7 nominations! Magic, I guess it would be a handy talent for a boyband member to have!!🙃 BTW any of the BTS groups I belong to and have sent your cover to I get denied. And unless we know someone in the Bighit world......maybe we should bombard fans of BTS like Jimmy Fallon, John Cena, Matthew McConaughey and others!!! This was a great performer. Jin was out cause he had surgery on his hand that's why it was wrapped up. Also that's Olivia Rodrigo yes she is a famous singer. BTS got a standing applause from everyone. They should of won a grammy for Butter and last year Dynamite. Numbers proved it but unfortunately they didn't.
It will be difficult for BTS to actually here your cover just now cause the last 4 members enlisted on the 11th and 12th of this month and the all the members won't be together again until 2025, but cover more songs and put them in a playlist so when they come back we can try and get them to listen to them all. There is a behind the scenes practice to this performance and the practice chaos they had to get through with missing members due to Covid and Jin hurting his finger and had surgery. Jk had covid and also Hobi so they were both in quarantine. Hobi is their dance leader so their practice was chaos because Hobi wasnt there to lead them. They created the surveillance set for Jin so he can be part of the performance.

This was such an incredible performance and I was beaming with pride when it was aired live. I don’t think you truly understand how hard this was to pull off because several members caught COVID right before and they only had 1 day to rehearse together. Also the boys are in the military now, they can’t work in music for now so don’t get your hopes up about hitting them up for a collab.

This is the coolest performance of Butter. I must of watched it a couple dozen times. The show was in Las Vegas so it was an homage to heist films like Ocean 11. A couple weeks later I was lucky enough to see my first BTS CONCERT THERE!! The girl is Olivia Rodrigo who has been extremely popular in pop music since releasing her first single Driver's License in early 2021, 2 albums later she is still going strong. That was Olivia Rodrigo and yes she's quite famous and an award winner. Actually, with this grab me award show being in Las Vegas, The inspiration came from the oceans 11 movie about in Las Vegas heist. It wasn't just AOL It was anything back in the day because we all had to log in using a phone line and modem. Making all internet connections sounded that way in the day.😂
They were sooooooooooo stressed about that jacket trick coming out right, especially since Hobi wasn't even there until that last second cause of Covid . . . . But they pulled it off so well! One of them (maybe Jimin =) or Hobi said, "even if you don't catch it, fake it!" and it came off so smooth!!!!
You need to watch their first butter live performance in AMA after the pandemic it was an amazing performance and they won the artist of the year as well.
@ 6.58 actually they couldn't practice much cause first 1 of the members caught covid,, then a second member did, so they could do rehearsals with the 7 of them only twice! they could manage to get the jacket trick done I think only once.. all the other times it failed, except on stage lmao
BTS actually had really less practice for this performance. You would know if you saw their practice episode they posted in their channel *BANGTAN TV* . At that time 2 of the members JK and JHope were positive with covid-19 and so they arrived at US in different times. They only practiced with 5 members before JK arrived and JHope arrived only a day before the D-Day. All they had as practice was what they did before going to the US in Korea as a group. They had only 1 day practice at the venue. But they still made that performance being the world stars they are. (JK aka Jungkook)

Both JK & J-Hope finally tested negative and got on planes. If Jungkook, still tested positive, would the scrap the performance or would someone else try to do his part. Remember, JHOPE is the dance leader and without him. He's so nice but stern as the dance leader. He's the one that helps the others, to make most performances go flawless. The 4 that were in America could practice but you can't practice the coat trick without all 7. I was so nervous and excited for them. And they did it!!

Nathan!!!! Finally!!! Been suggesting this performance since I first saw your dive into BTS! Behind the scenes: JK was in LV and 6 days prior tested + for Covid his first day. Hobi also in Korea had Covid. He had to clear before he could fly out. They just barely squeaked in by about 24 hrs. Jin had just had surgery on his hand, why he us in the control space and joined them at the end. Hobi almost fell in the opening and in the very end JK almost tripped and fell coming down the steps.(Covid takes it out of you). Behind on the screen is subliminal messages flashing. As the artwork is stolen it is replaced by messages from BTS to ARMY. And V said he was just mumbling nonsense into Olivia's ear.. And Olivia won 2? Grammys that night! And that was HER at the same table. And with all the great work BTS has done. They have yet to win a Grammy with 7 nominations! Magic, I guess it would be a handy talent for a boyband member to have!!🙃 BTW any of the BTS groups I belong to and have sent your cover to I get denied. And unless we know someone in the Bighit world......maybe we should bombard fans of BTS like Jimmy Fallon, John Cena, Matthew McConaughey and others!!! I'm not on Twitter (X) but maybe others could post it there! Let's Go!!!💜💜💜

This was a great performer. Jin was out cause he had surgery on his hand that's why it was wrapped up. Also that's Olivia Rodrigo yes she is a famous singer. BTS got a standing applause from everyone. They should of won a grammy for Butter and last year Dynamite. Numbers proved it but unfortunately they didn't.
They. had I think a total of 2 all together practices due to COVID protocols. THAT's how good they are.

It will be difficult for BTS to actually here your cover just now cause the last 4 members enlisted on the 11th and 12th of this month and the all the members won't be together again until 2025, but cover more songs and put them in a playlist so when they come back we can try and get them to listen to them all. This performance was my intro to BTS. I've been hooked since.
There is a behind the scenes practice to this performance and the practice chaos they had to get through with missing members due to Covid and Jin hurting his finger and had surgery. Jk had covid and also Hobi so they were both in quarantine. Hobi is their dance leader so their practice was chaos because Hobi wasnt there to lead them. They created the surveillance set for Jin so he can be part of the performance.
Jin will be back next spring. We can start trying to get his attention when he returns home.

This was such an incredible performance and I was beaming with pride when it was aired live. I don’t think you truly understand how hard this was to pull off because several members caught COVID right before and they only had 1 day to rehearse together. Also the boys are in the military now, they can’t work in music for now so don’t get your hopes up about hitting them up for a collab.

This is the coolest performance of Butter. I must of watched it a couple dozen times. The show was in Las Vegas so it was an homage to heist films like Ocean 11. A couple weeks later I was lucky enough to see my first BTS CONCERT THERE!!
The girl is Olivia Rodrigo who has been extremely popular in pop music since releasing her first single Driver's License in early 2021, 2 albums later she is still going strong. She was also one of the leads in High School Musical, the series;

That was Olivia Rodrigo and yes she's quite famous and an award winner. Actually, with this grab me award show being in Las Vegas, The inspiration came from the oceans 11 movie about in Las Vegas heist.
It wasn't just AOL It was anything back in the day because we all had to log in using a phone line and modem. Making all internet connections sounded that way in the day.😂
They were sooooooooooo stressed about that jacket trick coming out right, especially since Hobi wasn't even there until that last second cause of Covid . . . . But they pulled it off so well! One of them (maybe Jimin =) or Hobi said, "even if you don't catch it, fake it!" and it came off so smooth!!!!

Jin's hand was injured so they put him in the side room to perform; but he joined the rest of BTS in the last dance.
@ 6.58 actually they couldn't practice much cause first 1 of the members caught covid,, then a second member did, so they could do rehearsals with the 7 of them only twice! they could manage to get the jacket trick done I think only once.. all the other times it failed, except on stage lmao
BTS actually had really less practice for this performance. You would know if you saw their practice episode they posted in their channel *BANGTAN TV* .
At that time 2 of the members JK and JHope were positive with covid-19 and so they arrived at US in different times. They only practiced with 5 members before JK arrived and JHope arrived only a day before the D-Day. All they had as practice was what they did before going to the US in Korea as a group. They had only 1 day practice at the venue. But they still made that performance being the world stars they are.

You said they practiced and practiced. Not what happened. 3 days before performance. JK & Jhope were still in KOREA with COVID. Jin had an operation on his hand and wasn't allowed to move it. Both JK & J-Hope finally tested negative and got on planes. If Jungkook, still tested positive, would the scrap the performance or would someone else try to do his part. Remember, JHOPE is the dance leader and without him. He's so nice but stern as the dance leader. He's the one that helps the others, to make most performances go flawless. The 4 that were in America could practice but you can't practice the coat trick without all 7. I was so nervous and excited for them. And they did it!!
