Guys who are my age, mid 30s. Chipper was the first guy it felt like was ours, hadn't played anywhere else like Hank and other guys. He was our guy, it was awesome too be a part of watching him.

been a braves fan for over 40years. been a Braves fan since we moved back to the states in 1983. have to say that chipper jones is one of my favorite Braves player of all time. Now with Mcgriff making into the hall of fame. He joins jones glavine maddux smoltz cox into the hall of fame. the last great player from the 1995 team that won the world series. I remember my Daughter calling me the day we got him in the draft screaming "Daddy we got him" and I asked "We got what Kaylie" "Chipper Daddy Chipper" I watched this today in her honor, RIP my beautiful baby girl.
Class act, and hell of a ball player. It was a joy growing up watching you lead us to victory time after time.
