I actually use a system like that every Christmas (it can do RGB, but I use fixed-color lights and cool sequencing) with ~100k lights. It uses less power than you think. Even with incandescent bulbs, I only run the show for a few hours a night, and each bulb is hardly lit more than 30% of the time, so the power usage is pretty low. It hardly adds anything to my power bill.

That's why I have a gigabyte dual bios motherboard. If the flash fails, flip the switch to go to the read-only backup bios and try to reflash from there.
Reset the motherboard and you're fine.
Most modern motherboard nowadays have some sort of backup or recovery system for the BIOS. For instance, Asus has a recovery BIOS on every mobo that reflashes the main BIOS.

I agree with him though, the IFTTT subscription is stupid. You're not allowed 4 commands. To USE the code YOU wrote, you need to pay them.

@@ParkerBolin8 Although I'm not him I'm going through something similar and we've been together just as long as him and wifey sauce and the way I've coped with it is by acting happy around others. It still tears up inside every day and night. And the way he talks to his body language you can tell something is just a bit off like he's forcing himself a bit. He hasn't even recorded in such a long time imo.
