    Kyostar is the supplier for nrg. Same hub, made in the same factory

    Is one cast and one forged or billet? That could ultimately make a big difference in strength.

      @RaceGerman  Год назад

      No, both cast. But I don't think a billet one would make a ton of difference. There is tension or compression placed on the adapter.

    I’ve definitely wondered about this. Great to know!

    I read that the Kyostar spline could fit quite tight on the shaft, is this so? great video!

      Not for us. But I can't say that quality control is not a thing.

    I was checking on the part # SRK-140H from nrg to put on my 98 Nissan Frontier and that is the close # I can get it says fit nissan Altima / Maxima / Sentra / 200sx / 240sx / 300 Z but by chance any one knows if that part # may work on my minitruck.
    Nice info video. Thanks 🤜💥🤛

      I am not sure. I'd go on NRG website to verify pn

      A s13/14 hub or steering wheel will fit on a Nissan hardbody. Frontier is almost same platform so I’d ASSUME not %100 but it’s the same.

    Would this fit on a 2008 Honda civic si sedan?

      This particular one, no, but they do make ones with the civic spline

    Hey man, not sure if you’ll still reply but if i wanted to save money, would you say go for full kyostar setup OR kyostar hub with nrg quick release? Which would you perfer?

    • @Cxreymedia
      @Cxreymedia Год назад +1

      Personally I’d go kyostar hub and nrg quick release. I feel like nrg has been around long enough to be considered a trusted brand. Also the quick release portion is what holds your wheel to the car, I wouldn’t want to go cheap on that. But compared to the slab of solid aluminum that goes on before? I can’t see too many things wrong with going cheap

    This can be used as a permanent mount right?

  • @Bryankaaskoning
    @Bryankaaskoning Год назад +1

    both are probably low quality considering its nrg

    • @RaceGerman
      @RaceGerman  Год назад

      It's machined aluminum. Quality is fine. Never broke one ever on track. The quick release is a different store. The hub adapters are fine.
