Techno Goodbye, Selling My Techno Violet E36 M3 345
I just ordered a Spal with its harness and a carbon intake, hope it will solve my problem with cooling, I also have another question, do the z3m radiator needs to be original or the aftermarket Nissens version will do the work too?
Nissans works great
My car is a 1989 320i e30 with a m50b20 non vanos swap, diesel fan clutch and diesel radiator, yesterday the fan clutch hit the radiator and broke it, now what can i do, what changes to do to so i dont get my radiator broke again? any help please?
I would just make sure your engine and trans mounts are in good condition so the engine doesn't move under braking. Also make sure radiator is tight against the frame. If it's using new radiator brackets or zip ties. Nissen is fine. It's the OEM equivalent.
Question for you - I just picked up a HF 3-ton Rapid pump (not the low profile one) and it raises fine, but just like your Daytona in the video it settles about 1/2" after reaching the top. That can't possibly be normal - or is it? I'm here because I'm thinking it's a bleeding issue, but maybe you can offer some insight? TIA
Great, now I want a new box...
thank you
I have extensive experience with both of these products. The hardware quality will fail On the Amazon brand. The main shaft that adjusts angle for pulling fenders with strip. And also the there are two screws protruding through the each side keeping it from maxing out. As the Eastwood has flush hardware allowing for it fully recess. It is worth spending the money. I promise
Thank you so much for this video متشکرم
I just ordered one off eBay was looking into the Eastwood one but 130 for the combo pack after shipping compare to $70 for heat n roller *SOLD* wish me luck guys!
Is the eastwood tool made in USA?
i just bought a 95 m3 shell, these videos have been amazing since it came with an s50 to put it but he didn’t label any of the wires and connectors, do you have any diagram or pictures showing what each connector/wire goes to.
Just found this video and ordered the block, thank you. The shorter belt isnt needed for the e30s with the stock m20 engine since the power steering pump runs it own skinny accessory belt correct?
Nooo! You’ll regret this always. I have a small collection of BMW’s. Among them Interlagos blue E46, Technicolor Violet E36 and Imola M Coupe. The Violet is the one that gets the most attention and gets a ton of compliments. Beautiful color.
We need an install video for the door card you guys sell
I dont have powersteering on my e46 racecar. Its a nightmare. Not worth it
Do You make plug & play harnesses for Mercedes ??
We do not. BMW parts company
I am just swapping a non-power Z4 rack into my 1999 BMW Z3 Coupe.
What made you put that loud music over your voice? I am having trouble discerning what you are saying.
Not sure. This video was made years ago before we really knew how to edit. Is what it is.
Excellent video
Have the same one as the amazon one, paid 30$ for it. Needed it once on a car with VERY thick quarter panels, with one that was baconed and dented, so it didn't just need to roll the fender I needed to pull it and straighten the damaged parts. It did fine, even when reefing on that handle, only issue I ever had was that lock nut that goes on the end of the jack screw, it got loose twice on me before I tack welded it on. It's a design fault that the eastwood also has, whole jack screw is spinning so obviously it wants to loosen the nut. Should have a cotter pin or something, nylon lock nut doesn't suffice. I would get the nicer one if I had a business or something but for personal use, it's one of those tools that only gets used once every few years on which you can cheap out IMO
Fire vid, I knew it was Florida 3 seconds in, that heat is exhausting to work in so the space will be much better
Smol garage tings 🫶🏽
Yes. We have a bigger warehouse too. Check our other videos. This is just a small shop for light work and video content. Stay tuned!
Out of stock?
We only have the Bluetooth version available. Continental stopped making the cd/bluetooth
Nice. And very cool sound track.
are they also suitable for drifting?
Yes, they are used for drifting quite a bit. I would suggest the stance version as it uses stiffer springs.
@@RaceGerman thank you
I liked this video a lot, as it showed you could get the toolbox into position by yourself! Were you able to get the hutch on there by yourself, or did you need to use a call a friend lifeline?
I actually was able to get the hutch on myself, but did not show it, because of the comments.. haha. It's very very heavy. You can't lift it. What I did was drug the hutch over to box and lifted one end on top of the main box. Then lifted the other end and swung it over. About only way you can do it by yourself.
@@RaceGerman Thanks for responding! This info was super helpful. I’ll try your method to do it myself, but if I end up literally over my head with it, sounds like maybe two heads will be better than one, hahaha! I appreciate your detailed explanation and the effort in this video. Thanks again, this really helped me!
Very nice Justin. Keep up the momentum. Looking forward to the content. Yes , time wake up our E30 and Drive it!
Thanks! Will be much more once lift is installed! Thanks for following
Really cool it comes with that ramp to get it off the pallet. Harbor freight with the hookup.
Yeah, def was great thinking by them. HF really stepping up their game
Can’t wait to see the banner
Hell yeah, this is the kind of content we need. Setup looks solid. Always like to hear the updates 💪
Very interesting "warehouse" space. It looks more like a storage unit / RV storage place. Awesome that they let you install a lift in there and I wish I could find something similar by me. It looks like just 1 power outlet at the front by the light?
Yeah its a little bigger than a storage unit, but also spray foam insulated. The landloard is letting us run 220v for the lip and other outlets for the shop, so should work out nicely. It was harder finding a smaller warehouse. Most around here are 1200-2500 sq feet, but when this popped up it was a perfect space for what we needed it for, since we already have the larger warehouse.
@@RaceGerman Very cool! Looking forward to how it turns out.
It is possible to order the confort ones whith camber plate at the front?
It is not. The Comfort ones use the stock top hats
And the best option for daily use its the confor ones ore the street? For e36 what are the spring rates in both, in kg please
Street version is very comfortable. All the information is on our website. Thanks!
Now do a tutorial on how to bleed out
Best Solid looking jack out there..😊
how much different are the Street bs Comfort version ?
Just the spring rates. The comforter is softer more like stock
WORD OF ADVICE: DONT BUY THE DAYTONA BRAND. Got all of two uses out of mine and now it doesn't work.
We have had ours for years. No issues. Maybe you just got one with bad seals.
@@RaceGerman Maybe but I would expect better from a ~$250 tool. Bled the thing multiple times and nothing. Wasted money on this piece of junk. I would suggest getting the warranty for anybody looking to buy one of these, as you'll probably end up needing it.
You say "torque to spec" several times throughout. What is the spec?
You can find torque specs in the Bentley manual
@@RaceGerman Why not just inclure what those are? Bit weird making a tutorial video just to "refer to manual" for the most crucial aspects
Because I don't want to be responsible for that. I'm just showing the process. You should always look up the torques yourself and never go off of memory.
На какой система работает этот двигатель bosch или Siemens?!
Does the CD version of the VDO work in conjunction with the 6 CD changer in the trunk? The car is a ‘98 Z3 M. Thanks
It does not
@@RaceGerman Thanks! Too bad:(
Awesome Now I can do that to my 1 and 1/2 ton I call it a Dana because enough of the letters on one side that says Daytona came off and it says Dayna.
Awesome video! If u don't mind me asking: what transmission fluid should I use for my transmission? It's a 1998 z3 328i and it has the same MTF-LT1 sticker as your transmission in the video. What oil do u feel is best? Thanks
We use redline. We sell a service kit racegerman.com/products/redline-transmission-service-kit?_pos=5&_sid=db2cba9b6&_ss=r
Bro people can roll fenders perfect with a base ball bat , your Amazon one will do fine , n not just saying that because I have an Amazon one.
I’m bending a fender, not a steel rod. I could care less about the thickness. As long as it does the same task
Dumb question, but would this be the exact same process, kit, etc. for a ZF310?
Yes. It's the same
Does the thickness of the metal really matter? I haven't tried this yet so im not sure the amount of force applied. The jack screw and welds are the most important
No antenna?
You can attach the antenna of course
@@RaceGerman didn't know if i needed to purchase some sort of an adaptor or something
How thick of concrete did you go with?
We shot for about 4" but where the lift posts went we dug footers to make it around 12-14" deep.
did you get these through the website?
We sell them on Racegerman.com
Just bought one , very nice and straight to the point , thank you!
thanks!
Have you ever, or heard if it’s possible to rebuild the syncros?
