Yes I would like to see more videos about hanja! they're so interesting, I'm learning more about korean language, culture and I've found that I can memorize words in a way I couldn't before
thank you so much for this series, as a chinese, it is so helpful to know how the characters are used differently in korean. i hope you intend to continue this! :) if so, i wonder if you have a video planned explaining the use for 불/부(不), 미(未), 비(非), 무(無), 물(勿) etc...
Very interesting. Thanks. Could you do one explaining the difference between 이용하다, 사용하다 and 활용하다?
이용 利用 利 can mean profit advantage therefore 利用 usually comes after nouns with abstract meaning such as power, opportunity, privilege or you can simply translate the verb into the English expression “by means of + abstract concept”. And also your sentence with 이용 would feel much smoother if you further explain your motive afterwards
예: 권력 이용하여 언론을 좌우한다
사용 使用 使 itself also means “use” or “let/make” in Classical Chinese so it’s pretty much 9 out of 10 “make use of + physical objects”
핸드폰 사용 금지
활용 活用 活 itself means alive but in this case the sense is derived from the expression “靈活” meaning flexible (like a ghost 靈👻👻)and not stubborn. Companied by 用, the two make up the sense of “making good use of” or “applying knowledge/skill to”

Yep, the 년 mistake did happen to me too. I might have said 이 년 or something and my friend corrected me quickly XD I still have to be careful that I don't say 년 on it's own since it's so easy to accidentally say 이번 년 for example, instead of 올해. However, it is possible to use 년도 for year! So if you already catch yourself saying 이번 년... you can just save yourself by quickly adding 도 and you have a correct expression haha
And, related: you want to be sure to use _only_ Sino-Korean numbers with this word-if you use native Korean numbers with it, the word will be perceived as the offensive Korean word.
Koreans dont use Chinese characters?
When I saw some hanja characters on my Korean lessons I was surprised but then I understand the usefull it can be for understanding Korean word by the way I get into chinese thanks to Chinese origins of Korean haha now I am studying both languages
매번 (every time) / 매사 (every single thing)
/ 매일 / 매달 / 매년 / 매순간
매일마다 / 매달마다 / 매년마다 / 매순간 마다

Very nice! Just one quick question, what is the difference between saying for example "매일" and "일마다"?
마다 is a different particle, but 일마다 is not a word.
일마다 그런말 없음
매일+마다 이거임
날마다 is more common than 일마다. I think 일마다 is more likely to be used with other meanings of 일.

You went into time units larger than a day, how about smaller units?
That would be hours, minutes, and seconds. Unless you meant something else. I have some videos about how to tell time on my channel :-)
