Nice. These air cooled cars fueled the passion for multiple generations. Getting to be the caretaker of one, is pretty awesome. Have had my 83SC for just over a year and it is hard to believe that it is mine.
Had my first proper drive in my 90 964 last week after restoration! The air cooled smell is unique! Love yours with its imperfections!
I remember playing need fir speed porsche unleashed. The 911 and 997 are still my dream cars to this day. Am 43.
Would love to get into a water cooler car some day too. Keep the dream alive my friend!
You didn't ask my advice but here it is: that dent's not bad, so I recommend not fixing the dent until there's another dent, then with funding from ins, you can get the body shop to throw in the 2nd dent for free. A wise friend wants said, "the best way to never get another dent, is to leave the dent you already have, but once you repair it, odds are you'll get another dent" haha!
A G50 is not more engaging than a properly setup 915. Love the car and the passion.
I will say it’s more accurate in my opinion. Having driven both it’s easier to get into a G50 than a 915 but because I’ve gotten so used to the shifts in my 915 it’s not a big deal for me anymore.
On first impressions though G50 feels much more accurate I have to say.
A well sorted 915 gear box is a better drivers gearbox pver the G50. Love the car and Group4Wheels, had gold ones on my 85
True. I have one with a perfectly sorted 915. It’s actually quite excellent. Set up is critical, but once dialed in they are excellent. Mine has all new poly bushings and a Stompski Racing helicopter linkage/coupler. It’s perfectly indexed as well. No short shifter or any other mods. If you have a 915 try the above small mods and index it properly you will be happy.
@@foxlair3682the right self centering aftermarket shifter is an improvement. Rennshifter or Wevo.
And it adds lightness.
Seeing another video from you pop up on my feed brings me such joy my dude! Thank you for taking the time out to create these. Its so appreciated!
Dude thank YOU! Your viewership and support helps me keep going.
Great interview. All ‘the right’ reasons to own and drive this car. IMO. Cheers
Beautiful car
Everything here is simply perfect
Thank you!
Great video/interview.

With your support, I won’t stop 😉🤟🏼
❤❤nicely done!
Thank you Tenn!
Thank you for sharing your story. A heather gray t-shirt is good for looking understated, like you just rolled out of bed. Should be your wife sharing the story, since she's the one who drives it more & won't let you sell it
I needed to hear this dream today. Currently hunting for a 997.2 and this was God telling me to just do it. Does this 911 have an IG feed?
Amazing car. I love the exhaust note. Can you share the set up?
Nice video! I have an 87 Carrera.
What rear bumper setup do you have? I like the clean look vs the stock impact absorbers
wife is a keeper!
I know what you mean!!!
Can I ask about your rear bumper rubbers ? How did you modify them into being horizontal ? Thanks
The horizontal bits are always there. It appears the vertical bumpers have been eliminated here and then the holes in the bumper from the vertical bumperettes filled and then whole bumper painted.
Daytime. Head lamps on. Cool. That's how I do it too.
I wonder, how much does it costs in the USA to maintain this car (I am not talking about car maintenance) I am talking about insurance and taxation. Interesting to know.
I could probably come out with a video going over all the costs on my end. Might make an interesting subject.
@@TannerSeymour indeed, because not many people talking about those things
"Yet another" is a great name for this video 🤦♂️
Try and keep thing’s accurate 😅😉
Never understood why anyone would choose to spin tires in loose gravel. Just spits rocks up into your nice car.
Because it’s cool as fuck.
@@TannerSeymour if you’re 16 and have a crappy car, maybe.
Well I’m 25 and have a Safari 911 so…
