These are all the "A6G" models. The "R6g models" are much better, per many independent online reviews, scoring a 9/10 as opposed to the A6G which got a dismal 3.9 out of 10. I landed a brand new, NOT "renewed," 65" 2021 R6g for 499.00 on amazon, reduced from 799.00 "Last 1." I really lucked out.

Fun fact. I bought a 55 Hisense to replace a sharp TV. Guess what? It’s been 5 years and it’s running! It’s even faster than my Samsung 60. Don’t underestimate this brand. In my case. The reliability, speed, cost, and still good 4K definition wins in my book.

I was raised a brand snob, so it will take a lot for me to drop my Samsungs and Sonys. However, this looks a whole different league of quality than you would normally think of when it comes to budget TV's. I'm excited for what Hisense do in the future, assuming they can keep the prices from creeping up.

I just bought the 55 inch model about a month ago and mine makes a buzzing noise whenever the TV itself is on but when the TV is turned off it stops. I guess this is a common problem among Hisense TV’s in general but I wanted a TV with Dolby Vision without paying $700+. Strange thing is my 50 inch TCL 4 series is almost a year old and has had 0 problems which baffles me considering the reviews on that TV. I will give Hisense the benefit of the doubt, but if this TV starts having problems I will be skeptical of receiving a replacement TV and staying away from Hisense altogether.

Bought this Hisense Tv for my room. First impression I was a bit disappointed. The words and the writing were not that sharp as I expected. I have to admit that I have been watching on OLED tv for a while.

U.K. A6G can do 1080p 120hz as standard. No tricks or having to play with settings in any way. Make sure hdmi is just set to enhanced mode and ‘boom’ there it is available in the options on Xbox (again without any tricks needed Xbox side either). Also the UK’s version’s 120hz capabilities have been listed in multiple UK reviews. This makes it a perfect fit for an Xbox Series S to be honest, as this ‘really’ only hits 120fps in 1080p anyway. U.K. code is A6GTUK (not the A6GQ mentioned on here)

Probably a great TV, but the price is too much for me right now! And I don’t want to baby an OLED set. Not mentioning the bad points then? I've got the 43 inch version, there's quite a few to mention.
Sound quality is terrible you need a soundbar. The connections you mentioned are on most TVs . It's only 250 nit's.a lot of HDR is content poor.
I'm constantly trying to find a decent picture changing the settings. Reds and greens are way too saturated.
Sport's aren't great. The colours on the field and players are off.
Movies however are very good and sharp.
HDR was actually quite good on nature programs but colour saturation is off on movies , series's, ect. It would be better to save up and get a Samsung, LG, or even Sony. Links in the description? I take it you're not allowed to mention anything negative, perhaps your a sponsor.

I am sold on its capability, but reliability is not something I am sold on. I had a Hisense and the picture was stunning. Died 5 months out of warranty. So that means not even 2 years of use. I used my TV with light use. Mine isn't this model, but no idea how the more expensive models will fare.

@@TechSteveha, no need to throw around your numbers bud, its constructive criticism. The typical every day consumer wouldnt know what banding is , but as a reviewer, you would want to break things down to better showcase what you are talking about. like mimicking a dark living room where a family would watch , or a movie theater.
in this "review" at the end you say you wouldn't use it as your main tv, but instead as an additional display. That is useless info to anyone unless you can then give a comparable recommendation, what tv in this price range and same features would you recommend as most people these days dont have the disposable income to buy additional displays .
