EXCELLENT VIDEO GOOD TIPS PITSA AND STOVE
Just discovered your channel Scott. Interesting your knowledge of flora plus willingness to learn more. Best wishes from Cornwall England
Opening scene of cabbage palm... gorgeous! Thanks for getting as wet as a drowned rat to bring us to to an incredible part of Australia Scotty. Just beautiful!
"It is pissing down" True Australian right there!
That pizza looked really good! Great idea on using the rocks to lift the bottom of the bread up.
Bro you can never tell anyone about these places you find. They’re beyond beautiful and need to be kept that way.
Disagree.
Should not share exact locations but should definitely say what region he is in.
Black Cockatoos squawking at the start. Best rain forecast you can get. Keep up the great work mate. It's motivating ❤️
Stunning footage. Those yellow bottlebrush flowers were amazing. Great vid❤
I love camping in the rain…if you have all the right gear, it’s amazing to be out in the elements👍🏕
Between the scenery, the gourmet meals, the bush Tucker lessons and seeing the cool caves…this was a terrific vid. Thank you!
I will have to come to Australia and find this ancient forest, so lush, nourished by the good rain. Thanks for sharing this adventure with us. We know there is a fair amount of work involved with the videography and sharing. Your stewardship, going gently on the land is so important. Thanks again. Kentucky
@@johnsmith-xh8yn you call yourself an aussie?
It means taking care of where he's been. Hence going gently on the land!
Anyone else reading this, I apologise that you'll unfortunately meet a fellow aussie that's got issue's!
Either ignore them or call them out.
Your choice's.
It's a shame that absolutely all of the planet's rain is now toxic.
Tucker not burnt. Miracles do happen. Top vid, well done again. Onya mate
"Heavy rain" sounds like a bit of an understatement. Even though that rock overhang had leaks.. much better being there, than just under a tarp.
Great video! (as always).
its good to dig out a shallow drainage around the sleeping area.
You really eat well out there. Enjoyed the whole trip, thanks
I was also out in the rain last weekend - the bush always looks so beautiful in the rain, shiny and new. Thanks 🙏🏻
Love the Birds song & sounds, insects and all their squiggles is amazing - beautiful flora & fauna. What you say about The Aborigine People would most certainly be true, lived here & would know all there would be to know about the plants in the bush over millennium, a great video Scotty and so full of interesting facts. Cheers
Wonderful, i also love beeing and sleeping in caves or under overhangs... during rain or snow!
Thank you very much for showing this exotic and amazing nature.
Your meal seems very British and therefore also exotic to me. 😁
What a gorgeous landscape. Lovely to see the banksia and all the vegetation looking so healthy. Very interesting and always a pleasure to watch your bushwalks.
c'est très beau chez vous, si un jour vous passez par la France vous êtes le bienvenu Scotty
Thank you Scotty, your video is just what I needed. The bush is at its best during rain.. the smells, the sound, the aesthetics.
Truley envious of your skills, the location and your passion. An absolute delight to watch.
Nature is perfect and has everything one could need.
Yet another absolute envy inducing video, appreciate the effort you go through to make this content and all the educational segments are a charm for the little ones when they decide to watch along. Love it Scotty, keep it up!
Mr Scotty Tony checking in from Iowa USA my family always are always looking forward to your shows just awesome stuff and my 3 daughter 's and wifie think your a better cook than me 😆 gin n tonic yes be safe young man 2 👍's and ✌️ to the WORLD
Best bushcraft channel by FAR! Would love to see longer videos or more multi nights whenever possible
Your vids make me feel so relaxed and peaceful ✌️
Awesome video mate, something peaceful about camping in the rain , especially if you set up for it and comfortable. Always a good feed as well too, thanks for sharing.
Mate you need to start a Scotty’s gone cooking channel, from packing the meal at home to the bush camp cook everything looks delicious, burnt or not👍
Would love to see you using bush tucker ingredients as well.
That’s actually a really good idea. How to cook delicious meals while camping.
Haha yeh how to burn food and it still tastes good
Yes! The art of cooking delicious charred camping food!
All I can say is quack quack! Greetings from Northern Rivers.
Nice relaxing video, much appreciated mate🤙…I like the 25-30 minute length, could even make longer & I’d watch ..great job & as always you have a unique take on dinner & lunch which I thoroughly enjoy…I’ve made a few things at home from your adventures …delish!
Never seen these kind of plants and trees, thank you for sharing
A camp toaster is good for the bottom of your pan.
Take the wires off .
Me and my husband used the toaster for our Dutch oven
Over our cooker.
We were able to heat pies and all.
They are a great asset to have .
So that’s where all the rain has gone too. Here in England, we’re having a Barney heatwave. This coming Sunday the UK might see our hottest ever recorded temperatures. Fantastic video as always Scotty, loving the knowledge you have of the plant life there. If went in the bush I’d be an infant not knowing anything about the environment. Cheers mate. Stay safe - Andy
You camping videos are top shelf you actually get it Bravo n thankyou
Absolutely bloody stunning. The rain just makes it. Beautiful shots. And really appreciate the plants and trees info, and insights into the traditional and modern uses. Love it!
4:47 Nature always finds a way! Beautiful land. Thanks Scotty!
I so miss the sandstone country of the Sydney Basin. Yes, it's beautiful up here in the Northern Rivers ( most of the time - a little bit sad atm ) but watching that made me really 'homesick' !
Love the fresh air after a heavy rainfall!
That breakfast looked amazing. You got a thumbs-up from me for that alone.
Thanks for taking us on your little trip. It was definitely a wet one last weekend around Sydney area. I take my hat off to ya.
Things we/children should learn in school....and [cooking ,wood class, auto motives basic...] once was here in America was part of the school system] but now we see the reason it is not...Love your video's so relaxing....
Hi Scotty, love the Fire Box Nano. Thanks for sharing another great adventure.
Lucky we had a dry June. But rather rain than bushfires and empty dams. All ways nice watching your videos.
Great video. Great vibe. Thanks Scotty!
From the Raincoast, BC, Canada.
Les Hiddins was the man for bush tucker, I still watch his videos these days, an incredible bloke with so much knowledge and a great respect for Aboriginal culture and knowledge, skills. If I had time over again I'd have moved over and spent years with those guys learning their skills. Well done with the pizza. So is this the begging of The Wet? We saw pictures on the news of the floods in Qld and NSW.
I do admire these people that do this. This must be a great stress reliever .
Brilliant video, beautiful place, thanks Scotty! 👍
great idea using the stones in your frying pan Scotty. the moss growing on the rock was a warning sign of frequent water run off . great video
Great vid Scotty the Aussie bush is awesome I can't think of anywhere I'd rather be rain hail snow or sunny it never fails to make me feel alive ,and you're right about tucker you can always find something to eat if you know what to look for.
I was watching this video while my dinner was cooking at home. Then you made that pizza and I started drooling. I am going to have to make one or two of those next campfire. Cheers
Great video Scotty..... caught the edge of Cyclone Yazi while camping north of Cairns. Best cover I could find was a natural rocky outcrop but tied my hootchie over the top & popped a branch under the centre & had a fair night of it. Way too windy for any fire though. Your overhang was sheer luxury...... LOL! Please keep them coming mate.
Love your video's mate. Production quality + Education is on point.
I hope you were not hoping to leave after breakfast. That there is some rain.... Brilliant vid
Great video! An absolutely amazingly beautiful nature! Thanks for sharing this! 😁👍👍💚
I saw the green on the walls, and was thinking there is for sure moisture coming from somewhere. I have the nano too. Great for one person, light travel.
Thanks Scotty for taking us along. I enjoy the beautiful scenery every time.
Well done Scotty, not easy camping in the rain. I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. Keep up the good work.
I had to google "Australia indigenous mob", not being sure I understood Scotty correctly:
> 'Mob' is a colloquial term identifying a group of Aboriginal people associated with a particular place or country. It is used to connect and identify who an Aboriginal person is and where they are from. Mob can represent your family group, clan group or wider Aboriginal community group.
Yes, that's correct
Epic Scotty, epic, but you do know you really make folks who can’t make such places so jealous? Carry on, please, it’s the only way we can experience it 👌
Australia has a special jungle 👍👍
Ohhh my goodness. Life is always an adventure!! Always good contents thanks so much.
not bad at all mate. enjoy these videos a lot, nothing like that sandstone woodland with the rainforest gullies its hard to argue with it. all you need is a couple of mates there with ya to share a few beers with after a long trek! keep it comin
Great video …..love your videos and the last one with your Dad was fantastic!
Very Jurassic park mate!..🇦🇺👍
Good to see you again Scotty. Rain can be tough to hike in and camp in. But makes for great sleeping white noise. Food looked great. Great job as always. You are in my opinion the best producer of this type of content on the Internet. I've yet to see anyone make, edit and produce videos like you. Relaxing nice video. Can't wait for the next one. Keep exploring Scotty. Cheers!
Soo soothing, your videos..cant wait to be out in the woods again (Germany)..bought some stuff from Alton Goods recently after seeing your videos. Free shipping to Germany, nice! Thank you for giving us a window to the bush!
Fantastic video, that was a killer spot. Congrats on hitting 100k subs!
I always make sure to watch your films on the television. They're too beautiful for watching on my phone.
As an American i had never heard of Bush Tucker Man, talk about gold! Talk about true off road 4x4 overlanding and excellent camping! They just dont make them like that anymore.
Nice camping spot and good video, enjoyed!
The rocks in the pan were brilliant.
There is something magical about a fire.
You say the word Fig I am 100% in, love natural fig.
Loved that video mate! Top work. Thank you, please keep it up! Best regards.
Enjoyed the video Scotty! Always glad to see your videos pop up. That was quite a downpour and long lasting. The pizza looked great and I've got to try the bacon, avocado and feta toast. That little stick stove was cool. Never saw that before. So take care and hoo roo!
Great episode. I really enjoyed hearing about the bush tucker and other plant uses. Will buy a book for sure.
Your camp food is *chef's kiss*
G'day Scotty, yep pays to be ready for that lot mate, one way or another, lol.
Nice focus, (pardon the pun), on the flora, I reckon Gordo used the term "supermarket tree" for Xanthorrhoea.
I do have those two publications you showed, truly valuable resources. Anyone watching from the sandbelt region in Melb; "Indigenous Plants of the Sandbelt" by Rob Scott, (with input from many others), is a ripper too.
Cheers Duke.
Loved it. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us Scotty.
Wonderful part of the country, such variety of terrain and vegetation. I must try to get down there this Spring..only a days drive..lol. ❤️
Keep up the good work I really enjoy watching your videos so relaxing👍
That was a brilliant idea what you did with those rocks cooking your pizza
Great video scotty. I'm glad that rain hasn't really hit us down in Vicco though. Good on you for persisting and getting out there despite it.
Gorgeous area, Scotty. Reminds me of Florida.
very natural forest and the sounds of wild animals are very amazing
Putting the rocks in the pan to elevate the pizza was genius. Definitely trying that next time I'm out.
Awesome videos!!! I find a hot rock put foil on it and use the pan on top with coals on top
Much respect to you for your appreciation of the forest and your "leaving no trace". Such a beautiful place our Lord has provided! Thank you so much for sharing it with the rest of us...Subscribed.
Love the video my friend!! And that pizza looked epic!!! Thank you for the upload.
Well done Scotty, you have to get out and enjoy all conditions. I challenge you to do a snow camp…would be beautiful and epic!
At last your on the premium Mounting Culture beer. Cult juice a good choice 👍
Be careful my friend, the ground is slippery because of the rain😅👍👍👍
I love the elements, makes it more interesting and to test the skills to stay as dry as possible.
Ive lost count how many times I have been caught out, if your prepared for it, its fun.
Great to see the mini review of the FB nano, been looking at them for a while. 👍 thanks Scotty
Thank you for sharing such a nice overnight trip. Liked and subscribed
Excellent Scotty, I enjoyed that, thank you.
I have the firebox nano stove as well, very versatile, I'll usually used my Trangia spirit burner with it but sometimes use it as a twig stove as well, never used it with the esbit tablets but I understand it works very well with those as well. I like the spirit burner with the firebox because it's very well contained, blocks some of the wind hitting the Trangia and is great for stealth as there's no smoke, with denatured alcohol it puts out a very nice blue flame just like propane. Good video, thanks for posting it.
I was out in the rain today in Victoria. Can be fun but I would have liked a cave to have a break in. Loving that you shared your knowledge and the books. Thanks
Love hearing the black cockatoos in the background 😍
Found .. 1 cave with running water easy for washing up. Just before you said it Scotty I was thinking better than being out under a tarp and packing in the wet. Great perseverance mate you made it look so easy. Food was awesome. One of your better vlogs for sure. Bushyboy Oz.
