So many races are won or lost in the first 60 feet or 120 feet you should consider a custom torque converter for the automatic. Just look at how much it helped Incredible Hemi.
One other thing, practice makes perfect so the driver mod is important too.
Sounds like by the time you paid for all the bolt ons and install, you could buy an On3 twin turbo system that comes with everything including injectors and fuel system for E85 for about the same price and you’d wipe the floor with a GT500 then. I have that system on my ‘13 Boss 302 and it’s very drivable everyday and max boost has me at 1050 RWHP.
Hey Zach, the cheapest way to be faster than a stock ‘18 I want to call ya out! I spent 180.00 on Speed Daddy Headers, used my stock manifold midpipes,-0.00 bought 2 flanges and clamps 30.00, ‘18 intake manifold 340.00 with lockout, 02 extensions for headers 49.00 and 47# injectors 260.00, My Dyno Tune guy did not charge extra Thank God, do for less than 1k granted I didn’t hv to pay labor by doing work myself I’m faster than a stock 18 and I don’t hv drags yet!

An_Auto _Addiction yeah man, that’s the tough part, the 25-30k is just the tip though!! (You know what they say about the tip) ha ha ha, but.... if you hv the slightest bit of tools, and can watch RUclips videos, you can do most mods yourself saving a TON of money on Install charges!! If I would have had to pay Laybor rates on all my work, I would still be stock 17, no doubt... me and my boys do all my work to my car!! And then we post the videos for y’all so you can save money also! 😁
Zach you need to swap out your 3:15 rear end and get the 3:31 rear end I got my 3:31 rear end that is a torso from Shelbyauctions on Ebay it was a take off from a Shelby build less than a hundred miles on rear end

In a roll you’ll probably only need to be making 420ish with a 6r80 car since stock the 10r80 cars make around 410-415 whp and they’re also heavier than the 15-17 cars but in a dig the 10 spd is just way quicker than the 6r80, 6r80 cars will need a converter to come close to runnin what a 10spd car does on the strip

@@House6380 I havnt put her on the rollers yet but my butt dyno tells me my trump 2020 sticker added at least 20 whp(white house power). It's also been an effective hippy repellent.

RO GUERRA the same mods apply and you might not even need all of them since S197 coyotes are lighter and have an SRA instead of IRS

so I just bought an 18 and it's has the big screen and all the drive modes, etc. I have not tried any other mode except sport plus. what is the best mode for roll racing?

I will stay with my gt350 manifold and my gt350 throttle body JLT CAI 47 pd injectors long tube headers E85

There was no need to it was already dropping past 7500 rpm if you want a manifold that carries a flat power band past 7500 then the cobra jet is your only option also 2nd gen Coyotes stop making power past 7500 rpm you’ll need upgraded cams to do that
So, replace everything from the intake manifold up, exhaust manifold back, wheels, tires, get a tune, remove everything from inside but the steering wheel, take a bunch of exlax, don't eat or drink that day...still lose to the 10r80.

You probably drove it in the normal D mode, it’s basically a eco mode for that car since it keeps the rpms 2k or below for the most part to save gas, you can only feel the power on heavier throttle. If you put it in Sport + in drive mode or just S mode you can definitely feel it since it downshifts aggressively without you using the paddles and kick down aggressively as well as sensitive throttle
