    Best bang for the buck? I went with the FRPP resonator delete x-pipe, Roush mufflers, and PP1. The car is an obnoxiously fun and quick GT for less than $1k since I got my parts at cost.

    Jake your review is right on and very informative. I got the pp2 after seeing your video, nice to see someone break it down the way you did. Cheers!

    Best thing to do, is keep your car and throw in a whipple supercharger. You will be good to go for the next 10 years. No way ford will come out with a mustang in the next decade that has 750 hp.

      Juan. Lega dunno...if gt500 comes out next year it should at least have 750hp

    • @JuanLega
      @JuanLega 7 лет назад

      Gian Paolo Fraser I don't think so. Ford is not going to give a mustang more hp than they gave the Ford GT "crown of Ford" nonetheless, if the gt500 comes out, it is going to be a beast!

    • @LoveSportsCars
      @LoveSportsCars 7 лет назад

      Juan. Lega the Ford GT is a supercar track beast...what Ford needs now is a drag strip beast that competes with the demon. Lets see what shelby/svt come up with...

    • @JuanLega
      @JuanLega 7 лет назад +1

      Gian Paolo Fraser it will be something supercharged so it can compete with the Camaro zl1. The question is weather Ford will use the 5.0 coyote or the 5.2 voodoo to accomplish it. The muscle car war it's definitely alive and kicking, good time to be an automotive enthusiast.

    Have you heard of anyone running the Power Package 3 and a 4.09 gear?

    For the cost of a 2018 GT, you could get 2015-17 with low miles (>20k) between $25-30k and use the extra $10-$20k you'd save get a complete Hellion twin turbo kit or a S/C kit with all the supporting mods and have a 750+ whp monster. I know because i bought a no accident, 1owner 2016 Mustang GT Premium w/Performance Pack with 20k miles and fully optioned, for less than $28k. The guy i bought it from paid over $45k new and still owed over $35k on the car. But, like most ppl, he HAD to have a 2018 and now the cost of the 2018 compiled with the loss he took on my 2016, will be well over $60k! And that's If he buys the base model. The 2018, if optioned the same and bought the fully loaded premium with performance pack, would cost around $60k depending where you buy it.

    2018 is kinda just the 2015 with all the upgrades you would’ve upgraded anyways. And ofc with the beautiful 10 Speed Auto.

    • @mikehughes8023

      Not even close. The engine compression is a whole 12:1 ratio compared to 11:1 on the 2015-2017s. Plus the air intake is bigger on the 2018s. All in its 460 crank hp compared to 435. A higher compression engine will get you into the top end rpms a little quicker as well on E85.

    dealer install: will do install if part bought through them at MSRP $599.00 and will bill for 1 1/2 hrs for down load on PP1!thanks but no thanks. don't like being ripped. still looking...

    The PP3 should be combined with shorter rear gears like 3.91 or 4.10.

    • @JakeTiesler
      @JakeTiesler  7 лет назад

      kidamer E yeah, that would be cool to compare drag times from the power pack 3 vs 2018

      exactly work your magic make that happen .lol

    • @seanyoung3535
      @seanyoung3535 4 года назад

      Don't think you will either. Most if not all who pay the $1500 for the pp3 aren't looking for faster drag times at the drag strip. Mostly benefits track driven cars due to the higher rev limits and power not being usable until late in the range

    Wait for the 2020. That's what I'm going to do. Yeah. The 2018 is showing some good numbers but I'm 100% sure. The 2020 S650 would be 10 times better. Only 2 and 1/2 years.

    A bracket racer told me I could get a 2001-2005 Corvette and with very few mods I could beat a Mustang or Camaro for less money? Less weight, etc..

      +dry509 auto, yes, just add nitrous 😳

    • @STILLNIGHTPEARL
      @STILLNIGHTPEARL 7 лет назад

      Definitely, the C5 with a cam and a good shot of nitrous is a low 11 second car all day, no problem.

    • @srhatfield
      @srhatfield 6 лет назад

      This is absolutely the case. I got my butt kicked by a C5 with CAI + headers + cam. The guy has $22k into the car (including purchase price!) and was pulling away fast from my 15 GT PP + CAI + Catback + Tune. I'm upgrading the intake manifold to a 2018 on Thursday and I'll be putting in headers later this year... then I *might* be able to keep up with that bad ass C5... for twice as much $$$!

    • @bitpro8903
      @bitpro8903 6 лет назад

      Still have weak heads on the Corvette so down the line hard part failure will absorb the upgrade cost
