@@poslacionitakam7462 Time consuming? Yeah a bit. Expensive? That depends. I made a wonderful 5 gallon setup using a petsmart brand 5 gallon tank a bit of driftwood, fluval stratum and some low care plants (watersprite is easy and will grow like crazy and give a nice place for your betta to rest on, chain sword is also cheap and will eventually cover a ton of ground entire area). I think I have invested a total of 110 bucks (only reason its that high is that I'm pretending I didn't just have left over stratum and had to buy a whole bag to assume you had nothing) including the cost of my betta? I didn't go blackwater but it wouldn't have been wildly expensive to do so or anything. Just boil some dead botanicals and throw them in. You don't need a big plant emerging from the top, it can actually be dangerous with some Bettas to be open top since some will decide to eventually try hopping out.
@@poslacionitakam7462 If you don't have enough time or money to take care of a creature properly then you shouldn't take them. They are living beings, not toys.

After the first couple of seconds I went into fullscreen and BOY did I not regret that. The quality of this video is amazing. This is my new dream tank. Don't know if my current betta will still be alive when I have the money and time to set something like this up, he's quite old already, but one day I hope to give a betta such a cool home!
This aquarium is a paradise for your beautiful Betta. For us humans, instead, looking at these images, turned with skillful mastery of light and colors, is something absolutely relaxing, intoxicating, catapulted into another world. A fantastic world. Congratulations.
Never before have I seen a more fitting name for a youtuber. You are THE cinescaper. Absolutely love the shots, lighting, and camera movement in your videos. Not only the tech aspect but your eye for natural looks and aesthetic for these builds is so inspiring. Makes me want to have my own slice of jungle river in my living room as well!
You know you're an amazing youtuber when you know that I'm a normal person who doesn't have an aquarium but watches the whole video with keen interest , just because it shows your amazing talent ! :)
Aww, don't you just love your sweet baby boy betta! He was so busy caring for his own little babies; now after his hard work he is clearly enjoying life. It is obvious how much you love and provide for all of the life in this beautiful "paradise." I enjoyed every second of this. Thank you! 💜 (And the video imaging~WOW)!
You create the best aquascaping videos in the world! I've watched Green Aqua, MD Fish, George Farmer and Co-Op Aquariums, and your style, filming, music and creativity is the best. You also create cheaper alternatives in terms of lighting and general construction. Well done from a fish keeper of 40 years! Beauty in nature forever.
Betta's are amazing fish. Intelligent and caring. My Betta, Asiago, loved to say hello and was quite playful. You have provided what I would have loved to done for Asiago. You are a champion!!
I’m about to get started. Just purchased some of my basic equipment. Found this video by chance and I am speechless. This is amazing! I’ve been in the hobby for 10 years. I lost my motivation for my tanks a few months ago and almost sold all 6 of them. Watching this video has given me my motivation back. Thank you 😊

this showed up on my recs, and IT FEELS LIKE I’M WATCHING A MOVIE. omg, kudos to you mate, i really enjoyed watching this! can’t wait to see the babies growing up!
This what they don't tell on their videos. I do not mean this one is the same. But many aquariums on youtube are astonishing but in daily take care they are nightmare.
While it is difficult to clean. You have to do it rarely because the plants in the aquarium suck up the amonia build up from the water and also provide oxygen for the fish.
What would you be cleaning? The plants are fertilized by the fish waste and make oxygen. This tank has created a very good cycle so I don't think it needs very much maintenance.

Betta won't jump (typically) if they are not stressed they jump to be able to get to a better him with more food/water and or to breed. The snails will stay in the water where the food is.
In my experience fish will jump and snails will crawl out of the tank only if there's something stressing it out. It could be the water parameters or another tank mate disturbing them. But you should also know that some snail species are intertidal and will crawl above the water line for a while, and you don't need to worry because they can store a small amount of water in their shells. However, if you notice your snail constantly doing this, you need to get a cover of some sort (make sure there's enough space for the snail to be completely above the waterline) because they can wonder away from the tank! You might not find it in time as it could dry out. Happened to my snail once, found it two days later. Thankfully it was fine.
Three and a half billion years of natural selection, actually. The progression is fairly well established, scientifically speaking, and becoming more so every day. Or what do you propose?

How the hell do you film and not have glare and reflections 🧐
Filmed in a dark room.

I think its filmed with a dome on the lens
to avoid glare you use a polarized filter and rotate it until the glare is filtered out.
