Interceptor 2.0 should have 1) led headlights/lights 2) spoke rims like those triumphs/BMW which are tubeless so that it retains its looks and no punctures 3) exhaust pipes to be a lil louder but also maintain below the 85db limit For foot pegs if ur tall like 5'10" n above then u won't feel so those problems
Genuine review from the user. I think Ranjit sir you should review upcoming bike like the way you did here. And I am buying this Jan2022. You have earned a subscriber...👍👍👍
It's so funny for a person like me in America to hear people talking about how they feel about riding a bike that is so big when they discuss a 650. In America that bike is considered really pretty small. I really like the bike a lot though and I wish I had one. I have a VTX 1300 Honda and some people here consider it to not have a big enough motor. I live by a highway that on some days you have to go about 80 or more to stay up with the traffic. If you want to pass anyone you have to go 85 or 90.
One more customer point of view for you ranjit sir... 1. High speed wobble 2. Seat is pathetic for long ride 3. Not suitable to ride with pillion 4. Not much options for luggage due to high silencer position. 5. Heavy weight not suitable for daily city rides, parking se nikalne me haalat ho jaati h. Thinks that you mentioned. 1. No alloy wheels, puncture repair is night mare on long rides. 2. Better instrument cluster 3. All lED lights All I can is RE is selling the machine in a raw state, rest all we need to buy or live with it.
One more thing is earlier they used to give pireeli tyres which cost about 25k now they give ceat which are around 7k. But still the price is increasing for customer....
I think Ranjit should have picked a more experienced rider of interceptor, having been riding the same bike for quite some time and the answers could have been much better. But no worries, sandeep will become more mature on the bike
Thanks Sandeep for your review! Very helpful for me not to go with interceptor, I wanted a bike with pillion to be comfortable! also the heat , why to get it?
Yes I’ve riden the highness as well. I feel the interceptor engine is more refined. You’ll feel more comfortable on highness than interceptor but you’ll miss the power and torque on highways.
@@5kastubh5 Oil leak was the problem in Old RE 350 cc engines. Now in RE J series engines which you find in Classic 350 and Meteor 350 and 650 Twins don't have Oil leakage problems at all.

Ranjit Sir, small suggestion, pls try for a change of location pls. May be a shady area with back drop of trees/nature and a good light is also present. Also a change of angle.
Hi, can I ask you an advice? I would want to buy my first motorcycle (only had a 50cc when 16, im 33). I'm 5'7'' and 65kg, my gf is 55kg. I don't want a fast thing, I'm scared of wrecking me to othe wall as I tend to go fast already with my car even if I know it's dangerous. I just want a bike that I can use in the city and can take the both of us to some trips during weekends, 50-200km per day at a cruising speed of I guess 100km/h? just fun trips, not speedy ones, and of course a lot of roads are windy too, so you don't want the 100km/h during all the trip. I love vintage bikes, my preferred one, guess what, is a mash 400 just by looking at it (but I read it's a crappy one). So I m graviting toward a classic 350 new (4800€ which is my top budget) or an interceptor 650 used if I find one for that budget (but I'm a bit scared of the 0-100 in 5 seconds, I'm thinking of myself going late to work and pushing this thing into the traffic lol... and I don't know which one has better comfort for the passenger). Oh, and if it does matter, I really don't know which one I prefer between the interceptor and classic esthetically, maybe the interceptor with some mods (like 2-1 exhaust and -12kg), but I repeat, the mash is the best for me, really '70 and slim and somehow sporty yet really classy. Do you have any suggestion or advice to give me?
Hello Sandeep, have you also ridden the continental GT.If so,what differences did you notice in both of these and what made you think that this is the one to go.
Yes , I’ve ridden the Gt as well, its riding position is slightly aggressive which i felt is uncomfortable. Only difference is handle bar and foot pegs position is rear set and seat is different. So i went with INT.
One thing, height doesn’t really matter if you get use to the bike or you have techniques. I am 5’5 and I own the Interceptor, I have no problem at all.
Yes that’s true , It also depends on our riding skill. But once when my friend is riding the bike and i was sitting as a pillion we were going through the traffic which has bad patches and he need to put his legs down but he can’t reach properly and as we are crawling in traffic its made it really difficult for him. So to be on safer side i mentioned this point.
@@gurusandeep see even that depends from rider to rider. If there’s a will there’s a way 😅 but below 5’5 it would be difficult especially if the rider is not experienced.
the owner doesn't know about his bike... lol he was calling the exhaust to be crankshaft and that too 270 degrees... also said it's liquid cooled and air cooled... correcting it, it's only oil and air cooled...
I am a bit confused in honda highness and Interceptor, i need a bike for long tours, riding in city will be comparatively less should have a good soft suspension and bike must have enough power to cruise around 100 to 110. Can you please suggest which one to go with?
It's the same bike and engine, but continental the handle is at a more aggressive position and the seating position is also aggressive. So gives a more sporty sitting posture, but in comfort still this interceptor has better sitting posture.
Yeah as I said it the video, they should give the option to the users for alloy wheels as an accessory or when they customize the bike with the RE app.
@@GeekyRanjitRidesVlogs only this tyre issue and the flat seat issue is stopping me to get this bike. Other wise i really love the interceptor and I am waiting for it to get fixed in the next face-lift.
You can change the seat from a local seat maker as per your liking. If you are around hyderabad you can get it done at sahara seats , secunderabad area they’ll customize as per your liking.
@@gurusandeep yes i do have that idea to change the seats locally and seen few big youtubers have done it but they do not look good and do not go with the bike's design.
