  • decided to make a recreation of the premiere airing of the then-lost Nickelodeon Movie: The Electric Piper. This movie premiered to Nickelodeon on February 1, 2003. It only aired once-twice on the network and there was no direct-to-video release for the film, which made this movie itself lost for 13 years. Fortunately in 2016, an anonymous user who worked on the film contacted a user in which that user would publish it online, which made the full film itself found in its entirety. Apparently the according to the director of the film, Nickelodeon decided not to reair the film nor had any plans to release it direct-to-video due to copyright/ legal issues the film used (more specifically the soundtrack the movie used)

Split Screen Credits recreated by me (font is Akzidenz Grotesk (R) Condensed) [the film might have not used Split Screen Credits when it aired idk]
Note: I might be innacurate of the TV-Y7 rating for As Told By Ginger. [early reruns were rated tv-y but i dont wanna redo it all over again so just ignore that]
I made this nearly two months ago however I added the VHS effect a couple of days ago. (VHS Effect is True VHS app btw.)
no copyright infringement intended. i am only making these remakes just for fun. :)

Awesome job as always dude! That was honestly seemed very accurate to what it could have been like. And the fact that the still variant of the Frederator logo with the end credits music and the Nicktoons logo feels like that's probably what Nickelodeon did when they aired this. Although we never will know until we actually get a recording of the airing.

looking back at it, i think i am more convinced that nickelodeon probably would’ve used the lightbulb productions logo instead if it used split screen credits considering the film itself used that said logo in its actual credits. not to mention the recently surfaced 2001 split screen credits of kablam used the lightbulb as the plaster logo knowing that that show actually used it throughout its run.

@@henrimation5456 It could be a thing. Again, we won't know unless someone has a recording of the movie from its airing. I still think they would have used the Nicktoons logo

This is way cool! I'm Synth Commando btw. I still have hope that someone out there has a VHS promo adversting archived tape of the film for when it was going to air. I thought the airing was for 02-03-2003. But that information could be wrong. Some says February 2nd. I have something planned to be released also as a parody this December.

The original end credits for Electric Piper had the Nickelodeon Productions "Lightbulb" logo (after the Frederator logo) with the end theme playing over it (a la KaBlam!).

What is the name of the font that you used for the text side of the split screen credits?

Didn't it use the Generic Nickelodeon Pictograph bumpers (We'll Be Right Back/Back to the Show) on its original airing?
