- In this last scene, Mystique teaches the members of the X-Men not as students but as combat fighters to protect the world and its people from the threat of various threats, but with this practice against the Sentinel Mark I robot.

Imagine introducing those gorgeous, comic accurate uniforms just to throw them away in the next movie

Indeed those uniforms were boring. It’s also a small example of how Fox had a chance to repair the X-Men movies after the disaster of the Last Stand. They were very much on their way with the huge success from Days of Future Past but they had to go and ruin it again with Dark Phoenix.

Having Mystique lead the X-Men just because she was played by Jennifer Lawrence was a terrible decision. That's Cyclops' job

Thinking teenage Scott should lead over older Raven in the 1980's is similar to thinking Rouge should have led the X men in the original trilogy.Makes no sense

It should've... Apocalypse is the thanos or darkseid of the x men ... Too bad he's just a beta villain in this movie.
It's so poetic, and foreshadows Charles' arc in the final movie, how he speaks of peace, yet prepares them for war. That speech at the end sounds like what you would say to soldiers.

Is anybody going to point out that James McAvoy kills it as a younger Xavier? He’s got the accent, the stately presentation, Patrick Stewart’s chair, and the eyebrows totally work with him looking like his animated counterpart.
Too bad they wanna race swap him in the Mcu.

One of the biggest turn-offs for me and the reason I skipped sitting down to watch the entire prequel arcs is how they made that hunger games girl the centerpiece for the team so they could harness star power to draw an audience rather than story integrity (with creative freedoms nonetheless).

This ending doesn’t get enough credit where credit is due, to see them all in their uniforms and hear that theme and see Charles in his chair watching on as if he is a proud father and proud of his family and his team gave me goosebumps and made the hairs stand up on my arms. The only thing just missing about this that would make it even more epic and awesome if they had more X-Men like Colossus, Wolverine, gambit and Rogue.
It's a shame we never got to see them in their individual uniforms again

All of them preparing to fight, the glasses, the lightning, the growl, the visor and trust in telekinetics/telekinesis. So good. And the actors are great. I think my favourite is Kodi Smit-Mcphee though, there's something about his charm. And Nightcrawler in these films is so adorable.

Mystique being the leader of the X-Men is just a huge no. Singer really hated Cyclops for some reason. Kinberg wasn’t much better. At least Ratner had the excuse of James working on “Superman Returns.”

I'm Huge X-Men Fan. One of the best ending. I love the uniforms closest to the cartoon. Cyclops is my favorite X-Men. I love his uniform. I want that uniform to cosplay him. I have the cartoon uniform.

This movie managed to squeeze in blob, magneto, the sentinels, apocalypse, nigutcrawler, pylocke, wolverine, storm, Phoenix, cyclops, X, beast, havoc, angel, quicksilver, mystique n jubilee...pretty cool

@@MrSunjay14 The Avengers suits were based off of the Ultimate comics. But i got a feeling that with the X-men they will go with the Astonishing look or the colorful look believe it or not. I don’t trust them but hopefully they go for it.

Still to this day I wonder why they abandoned both these amazing comic accurate suits and the Mister Sinister Storyline they set up in the post credits scene in favour of the most generic suits and a story arc that was already done in X3.

All I’ve wanted to see in an X-men movie is for Cyclops to blast one Sentinel. When I saw this in theaters, I’ve never been so impressed with a scene because of the uniforms and then so immediately disappointed when it stopped right there

Apocalypse was a bad choice to be the main villain to bring that character to the big screen and do him justice was never going to be easy and the writers knew going in he is being used as a throw away character one and done

Night of the Sentinels could’ve been such a great plot to work with. Days of Future Past didn’t quite get there with the sentinels how I would’ve liked. Honestly though, there is just a whole lot of material for MCU to work with. Hopefully, they do it right.

It’s just weird that Mystique has to be heavily involved in rallying the X-Men just because the actress’ contract clause tells them to do so 😐 Mystiques was always an antagonist right? it doesnt add up.
2016's X-Men Apocalypse was originally going to include younger versions of Rouge and Gamit in the movie, but that never happened. The ending was great, and it gave us hope for the 4th X-Men movie to take place during the 90's just like cartoon. If thing had been planned out the right way, X-Men Dark Pheonix movie would have had Cyclops, Jean Grey, Wolverine, Storm, Rouge, Beast, Gambit and Jubilee. I will never understand why the writers gave the team those stupid yellow uniforms, that's the other main reason why Dark Pheonix bombed at the theaters. The writers should have given us a better storyline, with Mr. Sinister as the villain.

What is a five person X-Men team you want to see in the MCU?
For a field team this last group is pretty good. I would probably change out quicksilver though. Keep Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, Nightcrawler, and then it depends if they go with younger team Kitty Pryde, if older Beast.

These are what I call the true X men suits not those Leather black suits they wore in the older movies, The mcu better give them their iconic suits and with Hugh jackman back as wolverine they are for sure to give him his classic comic book suit

This movie is the finale of the first class trilogy. Dark Phoenix is just a fan fiction.
The last frames looked like the ending of Saw 1 with Jigsaw saying "Game over!".

Back in the days when sentinels were still innocent and harmless before they morphed into shape shifting killing machines
Fizeram uma cena tão boa com uniformes perfeitos e depois jogaram tudo no lixo no filme seguinte.
Jean's costume needed a lot more color - green highlights with some yellow thrown in - but otherwise these costumes are all great!

What I do not understand is how in the future these characters didn’t know each other. In x2 Jean and storm find nightcrawler and only met him then and in xmen origins Wolverine cyclops only met professor x after escaping the compound…?

This movie finally showed the ( as close to be) comic accurate suits, and then for DARK PHOENIX they never showed them, not even once. They could've showed them ar least when they went to confront Jean, and explain that the suits at the beginning were specially made by Hank for a last minute space travel or something.
That was what actually bother me the most of the last X-Men movie.
Because Bryan SInger was not directing Dark Phoenix , even the opening theme song was not same

Damn I really wish that some of these actors and actress get called to be casted in the MCU. Most of them are really good and fits the roles excluding maybe a couple, but I don’t think they’ll end up being so but I hope so!
