What I find funny is.. honestly Logan was not flung that far, he could have totally just.. walked back.. If Eric actually angled him upwards he would have *actually* flown awhile and then it'd be more reasonable that Logan left

I didn’t watch dark phoenix but just seeing this iteration of young magneto is a pleasure bc of the battle prowess aspects, when later, with him being older, he becomes more about building Genosha and what not. Pretty cool to see lol

I think when it is your 2nd fav character (Jean) that is why it is such a disappointment to have Sophie Turner cringe acting ruin it. They NAILED Wolverine though! I also agree that the post credit young version of Apocalypse was far better than what we got from Oscar.

Idk people hate this movie and I my self do prefer the older x men movies over this iteration of the Franchise, but i wont lie it had some really epic moments and elements in this moment with Jean and magneto and he really thought it was gonna be easy to kill Jean and she says “you couldn’t even do that” it was just a cold line like she really made a fool out of him the whole interaction was just cool.

At this point Jean didn’t even kill anyone yet just raddled the house a little bit I say that because. I Thought it was interesting that storm came into the situation ready to kill Jean like she shot Lightning at the girl with no hesitation maybe that’s speaks more to the groups dynamic as a whole cause like storm you just came to the school a few years ago and was sorta a villain now when someone else is a “bad” all of a sudden it’s alls business,and you coming out ready to kill a team mate so easily.

Erik loses someone he loves and goes crazy in ALL of these prequels! The only exception is Days of Future Past and that’s why it’s the best; it doesn’t completely retread his story from First Class, but naturally and sensibly builds on it. Then came this movie. Then Dark Phoenix. Couldn’t the writers have taken a couple extra hours to consider that maybe, just maaaybe, they were telling the exact same story over and over and over again and should give Erik a different storyline? There were only about a million other potential options to be conceived in a professional writers’ room. (And all of his losses are of women. Hmm, fridging, maybe? Just maybe?)

This movie had its flaws but in my opinion this scene was a nice way to end Charles and Erik’s arc through the tetralogy and their first scene in FC

I feel so bad for all the actors. They just had no real direction most of the time. They did what they could. I like all the risks this movie makes. But it’s just in service of nothing. It’s just a bad screenplay with mediocre dialogue with a few good moments like this scene.
