@@michaelwaynetucker lol are you also going to whine about how Hugh isn’t Canadian, and that he doesn’t have real adamantium claws? Someone has to explain to you what an actor is. And hairstyles and costumes have nothing to do with _casting_ . Neither do his other movie roles outside Wolverine. Stay on topic or sit down.
Hugh Jackman nails the presence; to say otherwise is cope. And unless your comics where talking to you, how good his voice is at best subjective. Mannerisms and cadence are all there. I love it, plenty of fans love it, hating it doesn’t make you special or smart. Sure he could be shorter, but last I checked the ladies don’t mock a man for being _too tall_ . But I guess bitches do.

Wish there was more movies with Patrick Steward and Ian McKellen. Maybe it's because they are good friends in real life, but they have amazing chemistry on top of being great actors.

Its destroyed from mutant perspective only.
@djsejwal2 I agree on that. Even now, a huge part of the world looks like a post apocalypse, of course not from our perspective
That's because it jumped ahead into the future. Whatever they were hoping to do at the end of this (stop the sentinels from being made) failed and led to the DOFP movie

Yep. I was a junior in high school. Simpler days…

yeah, this one is connected to future past when Logan went back in time so mystique won't kill Trask.
if you were there to live this series through as it unfolded . This after credits scene was immense .Still brings all the feels years later.
After First Class I said to my friend maybe we will get a Days of Futures Past movie with the old stars. Im still in shock we got it
It was a hell of a ride through even if there were some movies that were lower bar than others. What I liked the most about this franchise was that in terms of continuation, they cared more about the relationships the characters built with each other over time and they wrote off of that, the story itself might have had holes in it at times but they stayed true to the characters you grew with as a viewer. That's a quality that Disney just never figured out through the MCU , they focused to much on trying to tie story knots together, which ultimately ended up being just par for Hollywood standards but when it came to the characters, they flip flopped their emotional attitudes so much it was like watching a season of Degrase or Grey's Anatomy.
but how did he ever get back his metal claws? I never understood that.
Nah it wasn’t that immense
Right
The very definition of "on sight"... Logan literally only need to hear Magneto's voice and a split second later he's fully intending to viciously stab old dude straight through the face lmao
🤣🤣🤣🤣
cant say i blame him
In case anybody wonders how is Xavier alive, it's been shown in the post-credit scene of X-Men the Last Stand that before he died he transfered his mind to the body of his twin brother, who was brain-dead.
Then why was he stilled crippled how did his brother body become cripple
@@TheSoulSeeker18 That is a plot hole, I don't know. My best guess is that since Xavier's twin brother was brain-dead, and it's been stated in The Last Stand that he was born brain-dead, he has never used his legs. I know it sounds stupid but I got nothing else 😅
I'm more curious how Magneto stopped Wolverine from skewering him since he clearly has bone claws not adamantium in that scene.
@@FunnyHaHa420 The rest of his skeloton is still covered in adamantium. It was like magneto holding him at the elbow instead of at the hand.
@@Farzocalypse21 That's right! I forgot, I haven't seen that movie since it came out. thx.
Xaviers powers could easily be mistaken as freezing time when he uses his powers on a mass scale. I feel like a realistic version of his power on a mass scale would be for everyone to shift to a relaxed standing position like a robot that has powered down, instead of people just freezing in the exact position they were in when Charles exerts his powers. There's just so many people frozen in super awkward positions, some just standing on one leg, or mid stride, where if their minds were paused, they should have fallen over. I think it would look cooler and show a more menacing side of what Charles' powers can do to people and why he tries to use his powers only when necessary.
Agreed. The same mistake is made in Logan. Charles freezes his attackers then Wolverine stabs them. But instead of collapsing, they stay standing in place. That shouldn't be happening.
nah i disagree, hes blocking their minds which stop their brains from controlling their body. they would be basically frozen in place. "seizing their body" is an accurate description
I never really got that power of his, to be honest, it's not something that's supposed to make sense. Having superpowered mutants with no match like Jean is also something I can never really consider realistic, though I guess that's the point of superhero stuff.
Last time this happened I was taking a piss and pissed all over my leg 😕
the point is that when they resume their activities they don't even notice being frozen. If they were to slump that way, everyone would go from having a conversation to being in a weird position they don't remember assuming. Everyone would know something was wrong.
Still one of the best - if not the best after credit scene. It was so great to see the Professor alive again

@@BradyT918 That IS funny!
In one of the comics Magneto sort of does just that. He actually liquefies the adamantiun in wolverines skeleton and rips it through his pores and it nearly kills him.

"The Cure" was temporary. It would work if a mutant kept taking it. If you watched at the end of "The Last Stand" when Magneto is sitting in the park by himself. He moves the metal chess piece slightly. Plus if you watched "Days of Future Past: The Rogue Cut" Rogue has her powers back too.

did anybody questioned how magneto stopped wolverine? He doesnt have adamantium yet and as we all know magneto can just control the Metal.
dude was literally scrolling until i found first comment to mention that!
I had this same question. So here’s the explanation:
In this movie (which I watched a while ago and forgot until I looked it up), Wolverine temporarily loses his healing factor due to a mechanical parasite but after the parasite is removed and he has the ability to heal again he gets in a fight with an enemy that has adamantium blades and the enemy is able to superheat them and severs Wolverine’s claws. Wolverine wins the fight but when his healing factor regrows his claws they no longer have admantium on them. But the rest of his skeleton does and that’s what Magneto was able to manipulate. He didn’t stop Wolverine’s claws he stopped the rest of him.
@Joseph Rehan Which makes the real question, When did he get them recoated? Because they are adamantium again in DoFP/Logan.
@@AV.36 Someone in another comment said that Magneto replaced them. Magneto probably bound something like steel to wolverine’s claws and then changed the molecular density of the metal to composite adamantium. We know he can change the density and properties of individual metals because he used a brass bed frame to crack the diamond skin of a mutant in XMen FC
Didn't have adamantium in his claws. He lost them in a fight. The rest of his skeletal frame is covered in Adamantium. It's why he chooses the pat down, instead of walking through the metal detector.
When wolverine looks at that tv screen in the airport and sees them advertising a robotic limb is some crazy foreshadowing for the man that would be the end of him.
