Should be a real good one. Attila has some classical training, the gothic themes are right up your street and the music is just fun. Their live shows are great fun too, lots of crowd interaction and Falk Maria Schlegel the keyboardist and Attila play off each other really well. I'm a big powerwolf fan. I recently discovered Powerwolf and ever since I discovered them, I can’t stop listening to their music. They’re just so good! Not to mention, the singer’s voice is so powerful! Fantastic analysis!
I remember watching Powerwolf back in the day in Germany when they played in pretty small arenas with a capacity of 100-200 people. It is insane how popular they got.
this was the first song I heard of theirs and it was just the right mix of everything to get me very interested in them. definitely up there on the list of my favorite bands now!
You have introduced me to a new group that I'm going to have to listen to more of. I love that they are telling a story in the song. To many songs lack that substance.
Seems like you're loving Powerwolf, I highly recommend listening to their Monumental Mass "Fire and Forgive" and "Venom of Venus" for a live concert-esque music video. They've got phenomenal songs all around with their albums
I'm so happy you finally listen to them, they have so many great songs worth giving a shot ! But I'd suggest you try "Where the Wild Wolves have gone" and "Alive or Undead", those are -to me- two of the nicest where you can best hear how good Attila's voice is 💕
Like most bands, they have singalong sections in some of their songs where they tell the audience what to sing. Watching Attila do this is hilarious because it comes off as nothing so much as an impromptu mass singing lesson (he insists the crowd be on key and not flat, and actually put some resonance into it.) Check out some of the live videos of Armata Strigoi for what this can look like.
Don't know if on purpose but like three years ago he did it on a festival and by accident tried to teach the same chorus on two different songs. Falk was like: hey... um... we already did that song.
Oh my god yes! Love powerwolf! 🐺🐺 Get your hands on their monumental mass live record. Should be coming out soon. Watched the live stream of it and ugh, so good
Looking forward to this, Attila is amazing. Great control and presence. Powerwolf absolutely nails the combination great songs and talent with an element of tongue in cheek that works so well. Just enough of it to have some fun without taking away from the fact the songs are awesome and they're all very talented

Powerwolf is like the spooky creepy but fun halloween version of power metal, and I love them! Their singer has classical opera training if I remember correctly, and that sound combined with the organ sounds just transforms the sound into a perfect gothic blend of evil, mischief, and aggressiveness, while maintaining an air of class if that makes sense? Also like, 20% of their songs are mostly in latin, which is super cool. More powerwolf please!
For another one I'd recommend either _Resurrection by Erection_, _Where the Wild Wolves Have Gone_, or _Alive or Undead_. The vocals on those songs are just epic.
I'm so happy you found out about Powerwolf, they have found the perfect formula to making very very catchy metal songs! I'd recommend that you listen to "Armata Strigoi", especially a live version! (they interact a lot with the audience)
I love Powerwolf so much, they've perfected the fun chorus. Pretty much every song the breakdown into the chorus is just goosebumps and fun, and usually super catchy too.
Powerwolf are amazing!! Glad you enjoyed them! I wanna make a recommendation, I am 100% certain you would love Poets of the Fall. They have a great vibe, and the singer Marko has a warm, soothing voice. Their biggest song is Carnival of Rust (there's a live performance in Moscow that's good, and a live studio session at genelec which sounds great as well). Or another interesting and beautiful performance is Angel from the Alexander Theater sessions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My band toured with this band and Battlebeast. Powerwolf are definitely tongue in cheek, but they take their show seriously while joking around. I remember this singer getting sick and passing it along to Noora of Battlebeast. She came back with medication while in Germany and shared it with him. They did great despite being sick.
They quickly became a favorite of mine because of the melodic combinations they've crafted. His voice is powerful, the music is just catchy, and that organ man--reminds me of the days growing up when church would say that loud guitar music is bad.
Would absolutely love to see you do more Powerwolf. They're amazing and so fun. Atilla has some incredible vocals, and I feel like this song doesn't do him justice. Love your work!
finally, powerwolf! Honestly this band is on my 'must see live' - their live shows look like so much fun, great crowd interaction and some songs crowd can sing along (Armata Strigoi, anyone?). I'm surprised they are not bigger, ya know like Nightwish or Epica level popularity. Really great music, music videos well produced and the guys in the band seem all round nice guys who love music.
Great to see you got around to Powerwolf, they're one of my favourites, I heard them described once as 'epic bombastic power metal' which sums them up pretty well I think.
I just recently discovered this band myself while diving down a "RUclips recommendations" rabbit hole one evening, properly epic stuff that's right up my alley and I remember thinking to myself I'd love to see Elizabeth do a breakdown of one of their songs.. and as if by magic, here it is!! I look forward to seeing more of them here and perhaps even some Battle Beast and Majestica too in the future!
That's my fav song of Powerwolf! Thank you! I'm so glad I saw them live in Ukraine in 2019, they closed the Faine Misto festival. Such an energy! Hope to see them sometime in future again. There were comments below of recommending "Armata Strigoi" and "Venom of Venus". They are so great, I absolutely agree. Although I'd like to add one more, "Mother Mary is a Bird of Prey". Maybe it's not so popular but I think it's an interesting sample of Atilla's vocals.
Ou, thank you for adding Powerwolf to this channel. One of my favorite bands in Powermetal!! Another funny song of them is "Resurrection by erection", a more critical one would be one of their german songs "Stossgebet". They also have ballads like "alive or undead"

The young girl is the woman at a younger age and as you can see from the doll that turns into a kind of Chucky doll, she has had a connection to the dead/demons/whatever from a young age - and now is the time to fulfill/embrace that connection. That's my take, anyway.
I love powerwolf. They're just fun. No other band makes me think "fun". And i just about lost it because i'm sitting here thinking and typing this and you said "its just fun!" while i'm thinking the same thing. Exactly!
I remember meeting Matthew and Falk after 2 concerts in the crowd (when they hadn't been that famous). We had a great conversation and drank beer together. Good old times :)
Yes, Powerwolf is fun. I went to a huge street party in Germany where they played on a massive stage. Everyone was partying and they were perfect. It was by far the greatest party I've ever attended.
So happy you checked out Powerwolf, they’re one of my favorite bands. Other songs by them you should also listen to “When the Moon Shines Red”, “Army of the Night”, “We Drink Your Blood”, and “In Blood We Trust”.
I knew powerwolf by a meme that contained their song "In the Name of God". I searched for the song and ended up listening to their whole repertoire. I loved it and indicated them to my best friend who also did love their songs. Curious enough, after six months later my friend said they'd perform here in my city ,wich is located in Northeast coast of Brazil, with Amoun Amarth. I went nuts to buy the ticket and both of us, my friend and I, went for the concert I enjoyed so much. I hope they return again because it was really amazing show. And I usually listen to their songs while playing Dark Souls and now with Elden Ring.

I remember this singer getting sick and passing it along to Noora of Battlebeast. She came back with medication while in Germany and shared it with him. They did great despite being sick.
YEEEEEES!!!! Please give us more Powerwolf they are freaking awesome!!!!!
All hail Powerwolf!!
I have no doubt they are a stadium concert tour de-force.
Oh, Powerwolf is always a jolly romp.
Also amazing vocalist. Might just be one of the best.
I am so excited for you to review this! This is one of my favorites from them! Also a VERY BIG congratulations on your pregnancy!
Omg yess! Love powerwolf def need to check out much more of them you will absolutely love it!
First time hearing this band WOW!!! My kind of metal
finally, powerwolf!
Congratulaitions on the birth by the way! This happens to be our new LOVE song. Its so very cool to hear your take upon it. Thank you!
Never heard of them so this was great. Catchy song with a perfect visual ending on the video and we get a new Elizabeth word, Baritoniee...
I just love how happy he looks. She's grappling with a skeleton and he's strolling by with a big grin like "Need any drinks in here?"
Finally! I told you to check them out a way back, so happy you did! :D
Can't wait to see this
Yes! Finally! Can't wait for this!
I adore this song! So happy to see you react to it!
They also have ballads like "alive or undead"
one of the best live bands I have seen... really fun.. good sense of humor .. EDIT: Elizabeth, it is always watch you because you are so enthusiastic about a lot of different styles of music.
That's what I like about power metal and Powerwolf, they do so such a good job with making powerful songs that keep me motivated and makes me break into a little groove
Love your reactions and yet again you’ve stumbled across another of my favourite bands. Hope you enjoy listening to more of these guys.
So happy to see Powerwolf on your channel. I think it's not their best song to show their skills. If you ever go with another song, I recommend Venom of Venus or We Drink Your Blood.
I had never heard of Powerwolf before seeing this analysis, but the whole vibe of this band caught my attention right away, and I haven't been able to stop listening to them since. So thanks to Elizabeth and the community in here for introducing me to yet another amazing band ❤️
I kept meaning to pick some Powerwolf up, you tipped me over the ege. So glad they're on Napalm, you get that awesome Bandcamp instant gratification of purchasing.
I've seen them live when they came to Brazil right before the 2020 stuff.
It was ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. Their performance is SO MUCH FUN. So energetic. Probably one of my favorite live acts to date.
Hahaha yaaa finally Powerwolf!! Love this song and it always invokes energy!!
Powerwolf is absolute killer! There are several fantastic head banging songs… Love em. Thanks for the vid! 🥰
so many songs are getting recommended, do yourself a favor, start with the first album, and listen through the discography... So much fun the time will fly.
Just love this boys. Waiting for more reactions to them ❤️
The young girl is the woman at a younger age and as you can see from the doll that turns into a kind of Chucky doll, she has had a connection to the dead/demons/whatever from a young age - and now is the time to fulfill/embrace that connection.
That's my take, anyway.
The Dead South song "In Hell I'll Be In Good Company". Lead singer has a rasp to his voice. Simple song and music, but great lyrics
i've discovered the wolves last year. i do really dig them
I love powerwolf.
Atilla the lead singer is classically trained which fives him that powerful operatic sound
The fact that he can sing that high with that power is mindblowing for me
Discovered your channel a few days ago, browsed through your gigantic list of videos, it's very nice to have such variety!
If I had to make suggestions for your next videos, I'd love to see your reaction to Metal Gear Solid sung themes, especially sins of the father by Donna Burke and Snake Eater either the Cynthia Harrel original version or the sweet sweet live version by Ingrid Gerdes, those are songs thad made me really interested in singing back in the day.
Have a nice day!
Excellent Theater, I hope this goes on stage everywhere.
I've been waiting for powerwolf to be featured here!!
powerwolf is great. period. sincerly, a death metal enthusiast.
*"Demons are a girl's best friend"* has to be your next reaction from them!! It is one of their best songs and you will get blown away by his voice!
I would say that all of their songs are catchy and awsome. continuing with powermetal you should check out Battlebeast, Noora's voice is so unique. And also youtube singer Dan Vacs that dude is pure magic.
I totally agree that Noora has an outstanding great voice - should be very interesting to see a reaction from a professional voice coach ;-). My favorite songs are "Eden" and - from the latest album - "Wings Of Light". This is just pure power and energy. Take care
Definitely would love to see Battle Beast. Her range mixed with the ability to sing so clean and distorted is great. I’d add Familiar Hell to the list too.
Touch in the night is also very fun and unexpected, could easily have won a eurovision
YES! Battle Beast reaction please! I'd love to see Elizabeth react to "Eye of the Storm" from the latest BB album.
Yeah her voice is really unique. I have both Battle Beast and Pentakill on the same playlist and Noora was such a good choice to give voice to Kayle.
One of my favorite bands. Love their gothic yet fun vibe.
One of my favorite bands. Powerwolf is amazing
Just saw and heard them for the first time at download festival .bloody loved them great live .
