This still breaks my heart, it makes me sick to think how twisted some people are that they feel the need to make other peoples life a misery all because of the way that goths, punks, emo's etc dress! These bastards are lower than fucking scum, what makes this story even more sad is that the bastards that did it got a slap on the wrist, even though they were laughing and smiling like sadistic maniacs!! This is so sad. Nobody should ever be murdered for being themselves or being diffrent and not fitting into "society". She should still be alive and with her loved ones and friends. I will admit that I was scared of Goth's when I first time I saw them until I met some of them and they turned out to be very good people. I hope that haterd agaist people simple because of they're apperance will stop.
How sad and tragic regardless of her difference she had done nothing wrong, society today is just seriously messed up, all this yob, chav gang culture I wish it would just fade away.

I know what you mean, they think they're so great and so tough acting how they do, when in the end, they're nothing. You could blame upbringing, but there are also parents who've done the best they can and they still end up that way, either way, you'd think they'd know the difference, despite how they've been raised, the difference between right and wrong, and life and death. I don't know why they think it's cool to act the way they do, but they do, and sadly, I don't think it'll change.

The judge was spot on with his comments but sentences of 16 & 18yrs can hardly be described as 'life'. These vile monsters will only be in their mid 30's when released, plenty of time to enjoy the rest of their useless lives, shack up with some brainless slappers & breed some feral scum of their own, no doubt all expenses paid courtesy of the taxpayer!

Why do you hate goths so much? Why do you think they "deserve death?" Give me a good reason. I highly doubt you can find one.
It is a classic case of the majority making it bad for the minority. You hear more about the bad stuff they do than the good. I saw on the pride of britain awards one of them saved a woman from a train track as a train was on it's way, she was unconcious. But I still feel I want to avoid a group of them, because you hear so much about what they do to passers by, especially if you're "different". Sadly it's common knoledge that most of them are little assholes! (From bitter experience!)

I'm not sure how adding another category to hate crimes will help very much. I wasn't aware committing murder because of the way someone dresses is worse than committing murder for any other reason.
