Vintage Pipe Wrench RESTORATION

Hi guys at this time i have restored a Rusty pipe wrench in a cool way to entertain you guys.The wrench was too rusty and i find it from scrap store and it wasn't easy to restore it.
For removing rust i used HCl and it was concentrated and this dangerous chemical is capable of corroding skin, paper, metals, and even stone in some cases.So, be very careful i don't recommend you to do it.
After 5 minutes of rubbing steel wire brush i dried the parts and ready to paint with my favorite color after painting i also baked the painted parts for 20 minutes at 100 degree Centigrade after that the result is in front of you.

Looks great. I have a couple of my these FULLER SUPERQUALITY. 14". Made in Japan. The paint on the handle is completely gone. They were heavily used, but are still in great shape. These are the tool equivalent of a tank.

Nice refurbishing project. You are so close to powder coating that you should really think about switching to that. The powder coat is so much more resistant to wear then any paint. JMHO

I have the same set. Rigid, made in USA. I polished my heads,(where you painted yours black), to a mirror finish. Handles sanded smooth and painted Chevy Orange. Turned out too good to use.

Looks show room. Using a wire wheel on a bench grinder, would have been so much faster and more efficient, not to mention time saving. Still looks great.👍🇨🇦

Looks good. Missing the springs in the housing though. Saw one pop out during rust treating. Makes a big difference when using them.
