Rusty Vintage Pipe Cutter RESTORATION

- Hi guys at this time i have restored a Rusty vintage pipe cutter in a cool way to entertain you guys. The cutter was too rusty and i find it from scrap store and it wasn't easy to restore it.
For removing rust i used HCl and it was concentrated and this dangerous chemical is capable of corroding skin, paper, metals, and even stone in some cases. So, be very careful i don't recommend you to do it.
After 5 minutes of rubbing steel wire brush i dried the parts and ready to paint with my favorite color after painting i also baked the painted parts for 20 minutes at 100 degree Centigrade after that the result is in front of you.
Please support me to restore more antiques your support makes me more interest. Also tell me for more better restoration if i can do it and Please Like,Subscribe and Share with others Thanks!

Magnificent job you did restoring the tubing cutter to working order. It looks much better too. Excellent work.
Another superb job done
what a beauty. red is a great colour for Tools. looks great. who would have thought that lump of rust could turn out like that.
Steve Hassan?
Is That means that you left Islam?
So glad you write below which is the "Before" and "After" other wise I would not have known the difference, between the two pipe cutters. Job well done sir!
Nice stylish shirt for such a dusty dirty job. Great style. A gentleman restorer. My compliments.
Just a tip: Before reinserting pins for reassembly, place the pins in a freezer for a few hours. You'll find the pins are much easier to reinstall
Great tip. I have one of these pipe cutters that I bought second hand years ago that I would like to restore but the threaded part is seized. I have tried different penetrating oils and heat from a propane torch and a MAP gas torch but it won't break free. Do you have any ideas on what I could try? I even tried transmission fluid and acetone mixed 50/50 still nothin'. Would soaking it in muriatic acid damage it?
Very nice !
Terrific job. Love to see functional tools saved from junk.
BRAVO, SUPER. Svaka čast.
Trabalho excelente. Vida nova para uma ferramenta enferrujada. Parabéns!!!
Congratulations on the video because your work is a great master, I have two tools of this small to cut soft tubes like copper and aluminum, a big hug from Brazil to you 👏👏👏👏👍
Отличный труборез! Все думают, что "болгарка" лучше, но только до тех пор пока рядом есть электричество. Очень понравилось. Привет из России! Great pipe cutter! Everyone thinks that the electric cutoff is better, but only as long as there is electricity nearby. Loved it. Hello from Russia!
I love watching the way people restore tools and I commend you
Thanks For Watching!
good restoration
WHY DO I LOVE THESE VIDEOS?? WHY?? IT'S JUST RUST AND METAL! BUT I LOVE IT!
And great video btw! :D Love the silence
Yes indeed. Silence is golden.
Much respect for your effort, you will have a tool that will last .
with all your restorations that require pressing things out....consider getting yourself an arbor press. Very nice restoration!
Looks good, it cuts and will last a few years. From what it was I think you’ve done well. The parrot seemed to like it lol.
I believe this is one of your best restorations yet!
People stop complaining what he does do and what he don't do I want you to know every video that I've watched that this guy does restoring Rusty tools a lot of you complain he does beautiful restoration he does beautiful work stop your complaining
Good job Brother's.👍👍👍
I always love the contrast between red and black for tools
Bravo maestro!
Very good restoration bro and video cool 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏
I appreciate your efforts and end result. Still i world suggest few things. Dont mind.
1. Before painting try to mask slide rails with tape and try to keep it bare
2. Use bench wise to hold karta
3. Lubricate pins and rollers, cutter before assembly
4. You can use simple bench mount wise to insert pins. It is easy.
Again i appreciate you work. Keep it up.
Thanks for the tips!
Very good!!
IMHO, if it was China steel, it will be unrestorable device. Great job!
De France : vous êtes un genie ! 😍
Excellent job !!!
Wow, you've done a splendid job, the amount of rust made me uneasy as to what would happen but you made it work. I think I speak for many when I say it great to see someone that knows how to restore tools. It in all was a relaxing video. I like your bird too. Good day ol chap
love your bird!!!!
Instead of using dangerous chemicals we could send you a sample of our safe rust remover to test.
Gran trabajo
Nice work. I would have greased the cutter & roller wheel pins for a bit more smoothness over time and less chance for it to rust up again.
Nice project. I too got one of them and cleaned it and painted it as well. But seems paint doesn't hold up well on a tool you actually use. So I am going to powder coat it now and that will fix it. Thumbs Up on your refurbishing project!
very nice!
Excellent Restoration :-)
Have not seen all the comments but did anybody notice the guide rails where the cutting head runs, were painted over. However overall, Great job!

Wow,Shanghai China, where are you found it
Good restoration job, you have brought it back to life. Thumbs Up !
Perfect)

Thanks for video
Surprised how good the steel was under all that rust. Looks good.
Great result. Really enjoyed this video. Thanks.
I've never seen engine valves used in quite that way before. Nice work. 😁😂
Cory Johnson also my thought 😅 it just need a little bit of bashing with a hammer and it’ll be just fine again 🤔
*great video. I am addicted to it. Hope everyone through the channel support. Thanks very much*
Чтобы показать свою коллекцию колец, можно было снять отдельный ролик. Я не завидую. Просто так не работают со всякими ржавыми железяками. )))
Wow amazing restoration, color is good, well lubed;)
Greetings from Poland;)
Лайк за сломанный молоток )))))))))))
you are a great restorer 😆
THANKS!
great video!! should have used some grease in the rollers and pins...
Wow amezing
I like the parrot in 9:22 xDDDDDD
Nice job!
Nice Fingerrings.....
I feel like those bins that have the old tools used to be full of water to make everything look more “antique”.
Bon boulot .
More of the bird, please!
I have only one.
@@chohanvines442 Yes! And I would love to see more of it in your videos.
@@chohanvines442 I would be happy just seeing a video of your bird biting things.
espetacular muy buen trabajo jolla
You must remove ring form your hands while you working ( )
Abdulrahman Al yep! If you want to know why look up degloving (super NSFW/L)
How can you get all infinity stones if you take them off?
@Scumspawn ***** mine doesn't like if I do
Nice restoration!
I have an almost identicle rusty pipe cutter. I haven't decided if I want to try to restore it or not. I don't think I could brush it as fast as he did though.
Nice video.....for sleep 💤 💤💤💤💤,🤣🤣🤣
Looks awesome! Great job.
3 mm iron pipe XDXDXD !!! . This old pipe cutter is badass. 😎😎
Good job
VOCE é excelente artesão.
Parabesns....
Nicely done, for a while I thought that cutting wheel was beyond saving but it worked out really nicely, beautiful colors as well.
THANK YOU!
The pipe-cutter.......QUACKED!
Claw hammer 🔨 putting the pins in cracked me up!!! 😂 but I do the same thing ...
2:04 Thought it would never happen. For Christs sake just spray every thread and joint etc before you even begin to unassemble. Drives me nuts.
You need to lubricate moving parts.
If it was me I've been using copper coat on the threads you wouldn't have to worry about getting rust or seizing up
@@peteleadlove9215 you're still going to be battling wear with bare metal on metal
I would not paint the guides for the sliding parts but other then that good job
Why does everyone squirt WD-40 just when they are about to remove something. Why can't you apply it the night before??? Nice paint job and excellent restoration... 10/10
厲害
Когда по ножу молотком начал стучать, у меня аж сердце защемило ))
I thought the parrot was a figment of my imagination from drinking too much beer before I watched this.
amazing bos
That pipe cutter was made in Shanghai, China. But I enjoyed your restoration, good work.
MaxWong yeah hardly an antique but good effort anyway...
Genial, muy bueno. Saludos desde Honduras.
¡¡Muchas gracias!!
If you could buy RUST from a store, THAT is the product they would be selling off. LOL. But the restoration was great!
Amazing
Diesel is a damn good rust remover
#Nice_video
It was easy . Wath next ? 👍👍👍😊
Awesome work!
jajajaj que simpatico el lorito jajajaja
Very, very nice. So clean.
I wonder how nobody was noticing the parrot... At ca. Half of thr video
When you first took the wire brush to it and all the powdered rust filled the air I actually held my breath for fear of breathing it in. Lol
bravo
Good job i follw you from egypt
Not bad. Could have greased the pins before refitting and used a cloth over them to protect paint when using the hammer.
a box of rusty tools - a box of content
A lil oil will help too 😇🏆
Top👍👍👍👍ok
Are you actually using an engine valve as a punch? That’s pretty cool I guess.
It is nice to see some one using a grinder guard for a change. Was the parrot checking your work??
Você traz os itens de volta a vida. Parabéns pelo belo trabalho.
Eu amo fazer isso. Obrigado!
Nice work. Could have been an easy job with a sandblaster
