Cool and helpful tool. I just used one myself, but with a belt instead of a chain.
you are amazing bro.I'm a subscriber of your channel.
Yes it is, you make it?
@@gear_show no no, i used it for my current project.
my mechanics awesome video, just one question, what liquid do you use in min 8, to remove dust from the chain?
@my mechanies, okay l wait to see it in your new video.
That chain came out much better than I thought it would.
Yes, the chain quality is still good after the restoration.
Pleasee don't forget to show the usage from the tools in each video! :)
Yes I will, thank you!
@@gear_show you better mate
Ну вот,восстановил отличный съемник для масляных фильтров!! Отличная работа!
Это не съёмник. Это трубный цепной ключ.
Nice video!
Finally a restoration channel with common hand tools. Most restoration channels sand-blast everything, lathes, CNCs..etc (they are great of course, but not everyone has their tools).
Of all the random videos that pop up on my feed I am most thankful for this channel... so satisfying to watch 🤤
Nice work man! That turned out great
Absolutely gorgeous! Intense red looks amazing with black
as a plumber in sweden we use these pretty often, also we use chain pipecutters for cast iron pipes:)
It’s cool that you showed the chemical reactions on the chain interesting to watch
Those are great tools, I used to work in the oil industry and we often used them for pipe work. Great job restoring it.
me: what is this silliness?
*sees hardened adhesive chipped away from chain links*
*dies of joy*
thank you for posting sir!
I like the best you have used to drill rust. Nice job
Great idea putting cone brush on a drill press..
Thank you!
Thank you so much for your efforts, Gear Man. This is art.
Fantastic work
Fantástico seu trabalho🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Good restoration of the instrument! Nice to look at!
Thank you!
Also very handy to use - on large and small pipe that is hard to get at to turn with regular wrench
Beautiful restoration! Amazing before and after shots... like brand new!
Fantastic! I was really not expecting much from this one, and yet it might be my favorite of your videos. An easily overlooked tool, and you brought it back to full beauty. Never seen drill press table used like that. #throwawaythethrowawayculture
Thank you!

Unique tool! 🤓Brilliant craftsmanship!👍🏻❤️😊
That vinegar soak worked extraordinarily well
really good job, it's a pleasure to watch the restoration process.
д.) сдаются.
Nice job, I too have found myself filing off the casting imperfections of C clamps before painting them... little things that count.
Holy crap! Finally! Someone who actually gets into all the small places!! Please tell me you also get into the eyes of axe heads and linseed oil the ENTIRE handle from top to bottom before hanging? People miss that all the time and act proud while rust slowly starts to eat the inside of their axe heads again...
Beautiful work man and no anoying music to go along with it. Thank you
You're welcome!
Excellent cleanup especially the chain using drill press table. Great work!
Wow! Very labour intensive with no shortcuts! You did an amazing job worthy of all your hard work.
Thank you!
This one is awesome sped up though. Love all the tippy tapping lol
Wonderful. Maybe consider blackening the tool instead of painting. I have the impression that the paint comes off easily when working with the tool.
Thank you!
Like Parkerizing?
How do you blacken iron?
I've seen people using gun-blue or heating it up and spray it with WD40. Well at least for steal.

Bloody beautiful mate, love it !! You have a fantastic eye for detail. And that sir turns a good restoration to a "great" restoration. Keep up the great work.
Отличная работа !
Fantastic Job , have a nice day !!!
Your wire brush in the drill press technique looks very effective :)
Nice job on that tool. That is one of those tools that you may use once or twice in a life time, but when you need one, it is a life saver. You did a great refurbishing project there. Thumbs Up!
Its so satisfying to hear the continous beating
Fantastic & wonderful. No words to admire.
That was very satisfying. Great job!
This is very satisfying 🤗🤗🤗
Thank you! 😀😀😀
These restoration videos are quickly becoming something I watch on a daily basis. Honestly very relaxing. Keep it up 🤙. Also, I know you speed up most of these a teeny bit, and I don’t know how often you upload; but I would be interested in seeing at least one video a month where it just regular speed.
You apologize for the mistake but I didn't see any.
Great job! Obrigado!
Perfect restoration in my opinion. Proud new subscriber after watching this, can't wait for your next one!
Excellent work! Be sure to oil the chain and it will last as long as you will.
