Yeah, some of whatever he used to make it seem more dirty wasn't even completely dry yet. Plus anything that accumulated that amount of gunk naturally would be an absolute mess on the inside, but when he opened it up, it was nearly pristine. I don't know why he decided to do that, if it was just a video on restoring a broken drill it would have been great still.
Lots of criticism in these comments suggesting he fouled the drill just to make a video. I don’t care if he did or didn’t. I have a similar drill, (not Makita) that if I ever want to refurbish it I now have a reference to help me. I’m not an expert, just a Joe Sixpack who likes tools. Thanks Mr. Tool!
Hi, not many people have this skill nor interest, you take pride in your work and the finish product is outstanding, excellent quality video ty so much, regards, Bob,
Heh, yeah. Rather peculiar that he didn't just keep the original blue color. I mean, after cleaning and then sanding it with 400+1000 grit sandpaper he didn't really need to paint it afaik. 🙂
Your not only good at what you do but patient as well. One look at all the glup stuck on that drill I would have tossed it. That took some time to get it all off.
This channel was better when it restored actual old items... this one is staged as the inner parts are completely clean even the screws... mr tool do not loose your credibility dont follow fake channels you are an incredible person
The copper looked good---Why cut it? Why cut the power cord? I have cleaned them off fine. Why not buff the outside, instead of painting it? A lot of unnecessary work, IMHO.
Witam i pozdrawiam! Super wykonana renowacja wiertarki,będzie dalej użytecznym narzędziem, dobra robota i dokładność przyniosła oczekiwany efefkt, tak trzymać..
this i believe is a fake restoration, the grease and oil on the drill looks new which means that he just rubbed it on the drill to make it look old.And the screws arent rusted which further strengthen s my thought.Im leaving a dislike.
Its surprising to see that the inner parts are still in very good condition... which seems impossible when looking at the outer condition of the drill.... :-O
I use to enjoy this videos now I believe before restoring they owner actually make the product look ten times diertier than then restore it, and here I am watching.
Oh look, 2 empty Seven Up bottles, best have a look under them (as you do) "wow,a gunged up drill, ideal item for a restoration video. My luck continues, even though externally drill is covered in what looks like resin. Even all over cooling vents, it must have dried instantly. As inside of drill is near spotless" Moral of story, Never ignore seemingly abandoned Seven Up bottles, who knows what treasures lurk beneath. I myself spotted a mound of Seven Up bottles, seemingly been there for years. But knowing what I do through the unfortunately named Mr Tool. I cleared bottles, underneath was a 1985 Delorean. What a find!. Okay, only slightly less plausible than the drill video.
Great Job Mr Tool, Your Work is Very Nice, i like this video, You have changed the drill machine condition.

Makita is my favorite brand of small power tools. I can't believe you painted it the Dewalt color!
This seems fake.... wasnt that just resin on that Drill? Easily cleaned with some nice soap and water... you do great work, but this seems fabricated.
Yeah, some of whatever he used to make it seem more dirty wasn't even completely dry yet. @@waynedas873 so true.
like all asians restorations...
seemed that way to me too
@@radiotoho Just a bit racist, and a huge generalisation of Asians. Do you know them all??
this tool was intentionally dirty, this drill was never used before, the interior didn't have any wood, steel or material...
Maybe someone just bought it use it only a few times and accidentally spilled this resin onto it and preferred throw it instead of trying to clean it
@@Francefire Most likely some one shitted it up to make a video
My first thought too when he opened it up
Its totally new
It is defenetly use if u closly examin it you will see that where the brushes rube its defenetly black

Really enjoyed this! Even like how you transformed the drill from Makita to Dewalt!! Great Job

I think it shoulda been left makita because it's still a great brand I've got old Nikita stuff that's outrun my brand new dewalt stuff just saying
Makita not Nikita

Wow 🤩 a new Drill machine Fantastic
literally looks like you dunked this thing in honey and rolled it around in the dirt just so you could make a video
That was the impression I got, too. It's questionable why this drill was thrown away--because it got covered in goo?
Thank god I'm not the only one who thought this. Still looks pretty clean inside, compared to a lot of other resto-vids.
It does look like it was setup!
i think the same
Ha, ha! Fake, fake, fake. It's not an old machine.
Not many people willing to take the time to clean their tools properly...look after your tool - it will look after you.
Great restoration.
Amazing job buddy!!!
There's just something very relaxing about silent resteration videos👍👍☺
wow great staged tool fix..loved it...
Great work Mr. Tool. I like your work.
Please mention in your video item use for cleaning purpose etc.

Stop faking man. Find some real vintage broken stuff and fix them instead of faking videos. Maybe then i'll consider subscribing

точно облил какой-то парашей новую дрель и делает вид что восстанавливает. уже не первое видео такое.

Well done sir! Your video is exactly what I need to repair my Makita... Thank you.
That is amazing how you restored the drill to working order. It looks much better than before and it works like a charm as well. Excellent work.

Verderamente buen trabajo, quedo hermoso felicitaciones amigo gracias por compartir, sigue adelante
Exelente restauración , pero me hubiese gustado con el color original del plástico y las gomas sin pintar
I shuddered when he cut the copper, mad respect that you rewound the whole thing. Never see that in other videos

Great job, I’d rather have this one than a brand new one off the production line!
what a new one! I even spilled glue on it.
