Its not the best breed in the game, but its the best looking breed in the game and no other breed looks as good as good Turkoman. No other breed even comes close to its personality, looks, etc. It has a perfect height, perfect width, perfect neck, perfect jaw, wish it had longer hairs though. The dark brown bay with white socks is my favorite one. Man that skin looks so killer to me! ❤
I am a big fan of the Arabians, but Turkoman is my favorite when it comes to looks and showoffs. If I have to choose between Arabian and Turkoman, I would choose Turkoman any day, but Arabians are also great. Its going to be a tough competition though. Its like war between Elites and Royal. Wish I could afford them both though. Here I am broken and talking about owning them. hehehe 😂🤣

You don't have to be some expert to handle this breed, you just need to know how to handle horses. They are intelligent, quiet and willing horses. I'm sure these owners want it to seem they are some sort of handle-with-care animal to increase their perceived exclusivity and discourage competitors getting into breeding them, but they just excellent and amazing looking horses, not flighty and dangerous wild deer or something.

Yeah, some generalizations happening- but while there are a very limited amount of purebred AT’s in the world, you do still find them all over the world- as they are absolutely gorgeous and prized for their unique beauty (I was disappointed that Drew didn’t show many full body images of these horses- but if you are interested, there are Tons of them online) They aren’t really “the most rare horse breed” - but they ARE a magnificent breed with the most rare coloring - their hair has a special structure which makes a metallic sheen, not found in any other purebred horse in the world.

Of course chains.... at least they didn't have needles under the halter😒
If you ever see a horse with chains ect you'll know right away the horse isn't trained properly and the owners are just trying to cheat in its training. Lazy and uneducated owners.
Don't come at me and say "it's a stallion, it's a big horse, it's a warm blood ect." Because again those are just excuses and shows you're not at the level yet to have that horse. You're just looking for a quick fix and don't want to take the time to properly train them.

The Akhal-Theke is not the rarest horse in the word, there are at least a dozen other breeds that are more rare and definitely on endangered list before Akhal-Theke. At 3:07 left front has a nice bowed tendon, so much for good care of horses.

Konoba You have NO idea what you’re talking about! According to THE Akhal Teke Association of America, there are 477 American registered Akhal Teke in the U.S., some which are pending. Other references say there are definitely less than 600 total animals “IN” the U.S. If that’s not rare, I don’t know what is. It’s certainly not a sustainable healthy gene pool in itself.

Anyone watch the recent John Oliver segment on Turkmenistan? The current dictator as an unhealthy obsession with the Akhal-Teke. I mean he owns 10% of all Akhal-Teke horses in the world.

Ancient Indian Scripture speaks of these Horses. They were used by an Ancient Indian Warrior - Arjuna in a Great War. He used 5 of them together to draw his Chariot. Funny you mention "Ashgabat" as the name of the place. Ancient Indian name for Horse happens to be "Ashwa".
We Indians share a lot of similarities with Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan, Historically, Linguistically and Culturally because we believe Ancient Indian Civilization emerged out of these Regions.

I believe there's less than 500 alive in the UK and of breeding age... maybe 200 pairs if that.
