The Akahl Teke is the Siamese cat of the horse world. Vastly under rated. A Siamese is a fierce fighter despite the odds and in the face of their 'elegant' bodies. Tough souls that pick a person to love and bond deeply, this is the Akahal too. Elegant and tough, long distance racing they are very very able.. dessert horses at the base, and IMHO I'll take this over the Arabian any day, they are such sensitive souls! Give me a barn of Abyssinian cats (noted for being busy) and Siamese cats (bossy and liking things organized the way THEY like) and Akhal Tekes....
Thank you very much piecing this together through a language barrier was not an easy task and their was a lot of rewrites and re recordings so I really do appreciate it again thank you for commenting.
1:16 and 1:48 and 2:07 look at his forelegs. What has happened to his knees ?!? Poor guy, he is limping. Oh my god, he has probably been exploited and damaged by racing and jumping.
I liked the horses, their grace and their speed, but not the jokeys and their stupid whipping itching... ! Neither did I like the enthousiastic voice of the commentator who said about Akal-Teke racing horses : "What else could you expect from a horse ?" I will definitely never understand some horsemen pasions...
I have a question, is there a proof of the max velocity of this breed? I've read about the Guinness World record of a little more of 70 km/h... Do you have any info about it? Thanks a lot.
Ah to me this is the MOST beautiful horse in the world, the Siamese Cat of the horse world, and Oriental to the other sturdier horse.. lean, ethereal and flowing..
