It has been obvious from the first minute, that many spineless, dirty badge wearing cowards, completely failed these children and their teachers. Any three of the dads or moms, being kept away by these cowards, at the scene, would have sent the killer to hell with their bare hands, even if they knew they would die doing so.

The Chief single handedly prevented his own police officers from trying to save those children's.
And the only reason why it finally ended was because a single Border Guard finally got to the school and went into the school disobeying orders and went in and shoot the shooter down.

Maybe this proofs that funding should be looked at, not because it needs to be lower but because it needs to better spent. What use is arming the police to deal with situations if you don't train them to deal with those same situations!

They knew and they did nothing. They should all be fired. As a Texas resident I’m still disgusted they all still have their jobs. Firefighters don’t wait for the entire building to burn down before they put out a fire. These officers signed up for this kind of thing right? To protect their communities? Well they didn’t protect those kids or save them like the police always say they do. There is a serious issue with the way policing is done in this country and it’s only going to get worse unless we see serious reform. Those kids didn’t deserve what happened to them. How many would have survived if the police would have acted faster? Police all over the country are just proving how incompetent they truly are.

One thing I do find suspicious is that the DPS contact only used her first name. Normally it’s the last name and employee/badge number. Hopefully it wasn’t someone phishing for info. In this day and age your larger tactical teams “should” have the ability to communicate via radio with the agency they are responding to assist. Regardless of the callers intent it shouldn’t have taken this long for this info to become public.

What else did they need to know?? It should have been treated as a worse case scenario, everything they’ve TRAINED FOR, and they should’ve acted promptly and with force instead of standing around with their thumbs up their a$$es, putting on their protective gear, and talking about taking action. While they were trying to figure out who’s on first, people were dying. Their failure to act is absolutely disgraceful and disgusting! They completely dropped the ball.
