I heard his speech at the CNN heroes awards. Wonderful words and actions for us all, spoken by this special human.
I have very little faith left in humanity given how we over populate and abuse the planet, treat the other species on the planet as if they are here for us to abuse/exploit/enslave/murder, treat eachother with such total judgement & disregard....then I watched your videos and some of my faith is renewed so I donated! Thank you for all you do for these pets and their guardians! Your help is priceless to those that need it! You set an example we should all follow!

Having worked w homeless people, I know how unbelievably hard it is to break through the stigma attached to most homeless situations. People just do not GET the fact that 1)homeless people are PEOPLE FIRST and 2)many and most homeless people have the range of emotions and needs the rest of us have. And I’ve heard people say “Why don’t they give up their animals?” And I say, “Why don’t you give up yours?” Which never goes over well…this is a wonderful way of advocating for folks by explaining their situation and relationships with their pets/family members.

Hard to choose the best words to describe Dr. Stewart's mission and dedication. Easier to say I am extremely grateful for and touched by his actions. I have been very lucky in all "standard" aspects of life, but cannot overstate the impact that two shelter dogs had on me - heart, mind, soul, perspective, and extra gratitude for our time on earth. Dogs, perhaps street/shelter dogs especially, can bring out the best in people: drop all guards, dive in without fear; the more we give, the more we get; only death can break the bonds we create; no promises necessary. Complete trust, loyalty, friendship; zero selfishness or hidden intentions. That Dr. Stewart mission gives (better, longer) lives to these wonderful creatures who, in turn, bring so much to people with so little... d-a-r-n... Wrote a lot and still can't find the words. Hope I'll find ways to contribute. Thanks, Dr. KS

When I was in grade school I had this thing about Hall being a fat would just be the best thing ever. I just didn’t have the math science skills etc. so I’m glad there are people out there.
