One of the biggest things that has helped me is learning the “mantra” that “being tired is part of waking up” and obviously getting enough sleep is important but we aren’t always going to wake up to our alarms and be completely wide awake and it’s ok to feel sleepy and usually once you get past it you’re awake.
I've been waking up early it's definitely hard but i try to keep my alarm away from bed, and sleep early and try to read a book before bed. It really helps.
Timelines: 1:30 eliminate distractions + go to bed early 2:33 turn on lights 2:55 stay warm 3:17 sleep schedule (sleep+rise at the same time and find the suitable time 4 u) 3:54 prevent snoozing 4:13 plan your morning 4:28 move your body 4:54 get out of your comfort zone 5:17 change is hard,but it’s ok 5:35 winter darkness is temporary 5:52 warm cozy drinks +reading 6:51 shower

This video is perfect timing!! If you live in a dark, cold climate, consider adding a vitamin D supplement to help with your mood and not feel so sleepy. You can also get a special lamp or sunrise alarm clock to help ward of SAD/seasonal depression, both of which make it harder to get up. We got this!! 👍
What do you do when you can't fall asleep because of overthinking? Have you done a video on overthinking/worrying? As a new teacher I feel that way a lot
reading helped me, it occupies my mind with a certain topic and makes me more tired, specifically reading a book and not anything on my phone, where negative stuff could creep in, i have to make sure i get to bed extra early though, because i read for about one hour and then i am very tired and fall asleep quickly before the brain goes back to other thoughts
my specialist recommended I start using melatonin 30 minutes before going to sleep and in that time period u can't use technologies or any screen device, instead read a book, write or do coloring. Hope it helps because I had a similar problem and now it's gotten much better.
You were the first person (RUclipsr hehe) to convince me that working out in the morning is possible! For the longest time, I believed that I couldn't work out on an empty stomach because of low sugar/ fear that I'd get dizzy. Truth is, I work out at my best first thing in the morning! It took baby steps - first I would just do a 5-min stretch in the morning, but as I got more used to it, I started craving longer workouts. Thank you so much for changing my perspective on this. Getting out of bed right after an alarm is so hard. now sometimes all i need is 2 minutes but other days i need 20 minutes so what I do is set 2 alarms 30 min apart from each other. The first one allows me to let my body wake up on it's own time in bed, I don't have the imminence of another alarm 10 minutes away which would make me feel interrupted and unpleasant, and I have the knowledge that on my tired days if I fall back asleep I still have an alarm to keep me in check.

@Milo I'm jealous, haha. At Germany it depends in which class and at what school you are. The average of the days end around 1pm but the higher you get, the more you are going to have classes until 4pm 😭
@Milo I understand why everyone gives up learning German at some point. If I wasn't German myself I would refuse to learn German because of how hard it is compared to English. Sometimes I even wonder myself if the sentences I write/say are correct German 😂

I use a different alarm app with no choice to snooze and you have unlock your phone then open the app before you can turn it off, so it’s easy to wake up
Okay I need help.. I want to do all these things, -skin care/ brushing teeth and hair (15 mins) -makeup/get dressed (10-15 minutes) -quiet time with god and jesus -time with parents (waiting to leave) But idk how much time that would take.. like the quiet time and I really want to know how to get out of the house at 6:55AM with all that done! I'm currently studying CPA and need to wake up at 5AM as I always do in my home country and every summer in Japan. Some habits that I want to make are reading my bible everyday, a 15 minute workout, and just making my bed. These are so simple, but I’m gone all day so it makes it hard to complete my goals. The only time i have is the morning, and it can be difficult to make myself wake up! Thank you for these tips, i’m so excited to try them out, hopefully I can start some new habits this year!!

Woah! These really helped me out…because as a Student + ARMY , only ARMYs can understand the late night things, when you are sooo comfortable with your phone and BTS and you just don’t wanna exit your comfort zone and just stay awake watching BTS vidoes but you realised you are a student and you have to wake early because of your online /offline classes
During the summer I was such a morning person I would wake up early, workout do yoga etc but during winter since it’s still dark when I wake up I don’t wanna do anything even tho I wake up early
I don't have to snooze my alarm because I can never hear my alarm. It will literally go off for an entire hour and then stop by itself *me still sleeping*.
Idk if im the only one who does this but i set many alarms. Im not the type of person who will hit snooze. I will turn my alarm off and go back to sleep. I have tons of alarms that go off every few minutes and they go off between 5 and 6 am. If you have them go off every few minutes you won't have enough time to fall asleep again.
