These are 3 steps/tools I use in my own life to get my motivation back whenever I'm at a low point. I hope they help some of you out as much as they help me.
Feel free to comment with any questions or feedback as I read all the comments!
Thanks so much for watching, cheers!
This has really helped me! im a videogame music arranger and composer. i have autism and i've also been dealing with severe stress and social anxiety all my life that have gotten the best of me and has made it hard for me to continue composing and just showcasing the music in general but this has motivated me to open up about things and get stuff off of my chest to the dev team and continue making music and genuinely enjoying the experience instead of just stressing about it every time.
I really needed to hear point 2. It's hard to release music cause you always feel like "ahhh I can do better".
Exactly what I needed to hear atm, thank you so much!
Just found your channel and I'm loving it. Tons of practical suggestions and great tips. Really appreciate what you do!
Thank you so much!!! The best youtube channel i found this year. Lower the stakes & just do it.
Great editing. Not sure how you have less than 2k subs but I'm glad I saw this video, and it's all up from here.

Subbed right on the “WOOOO”
Confirmed necessity 😂
This is a great video! Tons of really solid advice here, and believe me, I know that burnout thing well...and yet, I keep giving myself stupid lofty goals...eh, the artist dilemma I suppose!
Yeah there's definitely a balance because you do want to keep improving and you don't want to live below your potential. But you don't want to set goals that are so lofty that they prevent you from moving forward at all. Sounds like you're really aware and in a good place, keep going!!
this was SO important to me ;-;
thank u
awe yay happy to help!
Great Motivation!
thanks Dr K!
perfect tutorial
Thankyou!
very cool nice
Great Video! I am subscribing forsure. What mic did you use for the video and how did you mic it?
Thank you!! I believe it's the Rode VideoMic Pro+. It's the one that turns on when you turn the camera on so you don't forget and miss your audio. I put it on the end of a mic stand and mounted it above my head pointed at my chest. Hope this helps!
Great video. You should upload more video on abelton tips and tricks. I want to learn more from you love from India 💕
I'll definitely be uploading more Ableton stuff in the future, thank you!

thank you mr sam!
8:43 i really agree on collabs, i always prefer collabs fr
how do you get out of the vocal freezing? I freeze up with vocals.
What’s your plan? Are you gonna be making videos regularly?
That’s the plan!
At one point all your favorite artist got rejected with hip hop pop rock country every jondra you just have to keep going I guess.
Are you the guy who made the track Nirvana? Are you Candyland?
its not ez, it wont be ez either. 💪
hang in there!
I am old and not even good looking do you think I still have a chance to make it in the music industry?
I don't think it matter how old you are or what you look like. If you're able to make music that people listen to and enjoy then you have a chance. There are tons of successful artists who have a career and no one knows what they look like at all! There are also older artists who aren't known for being good looking who have careers too. It's more about the music than anything else, and sometimes your looks and age can add to the story and can actually be a plus instead of something you feel is holding you back, it's all about how you frame it. Don't let appearance or age stop you from trying to make the best music you can and put yourself out there. If it doesn't work out at least you tried, which is a lot better than always wondering.
For me theres no Rejection but im at a low point cause i cant bring myself to start somehow. and i want too much too fast...
Yeah i think you need to lower the stakes and start small. Just try to come up with a chord progression you like. Set out to work for 10 minutes today or tomorrow and see how that goes!
@@CompleteProducer coming up with an idea is easy for me. hardest part is getting myself to make music (and if i do, enjoy it cause its getting pretty quick to "im so bad, this sounds awful" or "ok this sounds decent, but i dont know what to do now with this loop or idea or segment"
i know.. I'll try or maybe after the 18th cause Ive got an important test which I need to pass to get the apprenticeship...
I dont know if u care but I'll hope to remember and try this and state how it worked out thx.
Sry if my english is hard to read.
AH! THE SWEATY ARMPITS STRIKE AGAIN!!!!!!
they're out of control. i've been trying to hide it more in recent videos lol
@@CompleteProducer nooooooooo they are beautiful. Don't hide them from this world! They deserve to be seen and loved. One day millions of people will sit and watch this video with tears in their eyes and sigh with soft sobs "I'm not the only one~" your armpits are validating humanity! Armpits show you are human!
Cheers 😁
It's my tag line! lol
@@CompleteProducerits like your friend saying hi to me 🙏💐
Very nice. Let the farts go.
Ok, OK, I'll colab with you! 🥸
Can I borrow those crappy cans you call "headphones"?
hahah, the Audeze's are great! would highly recommend if they're in the budget for you
@@CompleteProducer Maybe one day! I have a Dolby Atmos remaster of REM I bet would be almost eerie to experience.
