Well, congrats on the 1K... long overdue! Flint Hills one was epic for a test layout, as you called in. I am glad to hear that it continues to be well received at shows and more to come. I am even more excited to hear you are starting a new build from scratch for Flint Hills, Mark II. Or Version 2.0. With what you can do, it should be grand! All the best to you and the new build! 3d printing is terrific. I have done a little myself with a Monoprice Filament printer. I have considered upgrading to a resin printer but need to substantiate the purchase, it would be nice to print some figures.

HI Ian , I'm following all your updates . Ive seemed to have missed why you are now using the Power Cab instead of your DR5000?
@@flinthillsmodelrailway- Hi Geoff! Unfortunately, the WiFi module of the DR5000 has stopped working correctly! It no longer broadcasts the "correct" SSID, and neither my Roco Throttle, nor Z21 app on my iPad or iPhone will connect to it! I've ordered a Yamorac WiFi module from DCC Train Automation, and am hoping that this will fix the issue - but at the moment they are out of stock! All the best, Ian.
oh yes I do remember now - must be getting Old lol. I have 2 Yamorac WiFi module on order . I'm hoping James get them very soon . I'm sure it will fix your issue.
Hi Geoff firstly I would like to say congrats on hitting the 1k mark it is well deserved! Very interesting info on the CJM shuttle if memory serves me CJM first started back in the 80's with super detailed Farish locos and a few repaints. The shuttle was the first loco that Chris made a custom chassis and it was a great success which lead to some locos being developed that weren't on the market with his custom made chassis. If I remember rightly we first saw the class 67 from him amongst other models he was well renowned for his models which in turn were classed as a premium model in N-gauge with a price tag to match. Chris was a lovely man who was always willing to share his knowledge when it came to painting models and unfortunately has now passed away so the shuttle will be like rocking horse poo to find. Great news about FH1 being on the show circuit and it will certainly be well received! please update us all to the shows it will be attending as it would be nice to see it in the flesh and also have a chat with you. keep up the good work! Well done in breaking through the 1K barrier, I know how tough that is and the work effort to get there.
I think it so important that viewers take just a minute to leave a note as it keeps us going knowing that some are really interested.
My layout is 00 and DC, too late for me to convert to DCC and would be too expensive. Clearly you can have so much more in a “N” 7:20 gauge layout. But the extent and complexity of your electronics is above my pay rate😂
