I’m excited to see what you create with this sewing pattern! I’d love to hear if you’re making the adult or mini version (or both!) and I’ll choose a couple of you to send a pattern to 🤍🥰
One adult for my sister and one mini for my niece. They both love denim so I'm planning on a burnt sienna pair for them! :) Really enjoy your videos and many thanks for making them.
Love this bag! I would love to make two adult versions, one for me and one for my mini who is now 33!😄 I think corduroy and Sherpa will be my choices. Love your calm teaching style and patterns .
I’m sooooo happy! I’ve been looking for a crossbody bag pattern, and simply couldn’t find one that I liked. This one is perfect! And I’ll definitely make two mini ones for my two kids…after I’ve made one for myself. Thank you!
I would probably sew an adult one vor my Sister in law and three minis for her three daughters, my cute nieces 😍 and I‘d like to have them matching but Not the same, so that each is unique but together they could form a cute set 😊
What a sweet gift for your sister in law and little ones! I'd love to send you this pattern :) Just message me on Instagram and I'll get you the pattern! (@rooneyclothing)
When would you recommended doing the quilting style? I mean, in what stage of the process would you recommend that? I thought it looked quilted in the thumbnail. Beautiful bag, btw!
Great question! I will be making an in-depth tutorial for this -- to quilt, I would do it before cutting the pattern. So I would quilt the fabric first and then cut my pattern so that any size shrinking happens before the shapes are cut. Hope this helps!
@@RooneySewingPatterns I'm so glad I asked and you answered, because I definitely would have done it wrong. I would have never thought to do it before cutting the pieces out! I'll be on the lookout for that tutorial... thank you!
Got the pattern and am so excited to make this! I wanted to know if the darting is necessary or can it be skipped? If it was skipped would it affect the finished product in a negative way, or would it just look a little different?
Just bought this today & the instructions + video are very helpful. The instructions say 16" zipper, but it looks like you're using an 18" and I find that the 18" is better. Also, instructions say to top stitch on back panel but you are top stitching on top panel. Does it matter which one? I did the back panel. I'm almost finished ~
Hey! I don't think it would be, just depends on the thickness of it. I would make sure you are using a new needle too or one for more heavy-weight fabrics if it is thicker.

Oh yay, I'm glad this one suits you :) Can't wait to see what you create!
I’m going to make one for myself and a matching one for my 4yr old daughter💗

Très beau travail et un superbe sac banane ❤

Hi! Do you think it would be too difficult to use outerwear fabric with this pattern?
