I'm an injured guitarist with an old Casio CP-85. My left arm is out of commission for fretting (chainsaw accident) for now so I've been getting into my piano. My Crybaby wah is incredible with it!
You'll be playing guitar in no time, King. Rest and have a smooth recovery. Im a piano player but want to fuck around pedals "just to see what happens.
Don't know if anyone is reading this, since the original post is almost five years old, but I'll give it a try: Is it possible to connect guitar pedals with digital pianos, but without using an amp and external monitors? I would like to you use my headphones or the internal speakers instead. But don't know if this works since I would need to loop the signal through the pedal and than back into the keyboard.
Greetings from Lima Peru....I was wondering if you can tell me if it is possible to use a EHX Key9 Piano Machine pedal and a EHX C9 Organ Machine with a Korg keyboard. I ask because down here is impossible to get these pedals, I have to buy them through the web and before I get something useless, I prefer to ask...thank you very much for your kind answer....
Hi I connected my guitar pedal to my technics electric piano and it did something to the volume where there is no noise anymore (the power light still lights up). Any ideas what could have gone wrong and steps to try in fixing it?

Very thorough, good job.
Wish they all were.
I rather have a tad bit of redundancy, than a fast video.
Absolutely amazing video! Very knowledgeable
Glad you enjoyed it
super well spoken, very clear, thank you
do i really need an amp, di box, etc? can i just plug the pedal into the keyboard like i would with a sustain pedal and leave it at that?
No. Maybe the name 'pedal' is misleading you - it should be more like a 'foot operated' audio signal modifier (audio signal being the key here).
Thank you PianoManChuck. I will certainly do that.
This was very helpful. Thank you.
Hi Chuck would the Kawai ES8 with guitar pedals work nicely ? What pedals are nice tones ?
Great Vid Chuck, many thanks !
But what about line level balanced versus high-Z UNbalanced?
Thank you sir.

thanks a lot for the video, man thanks a lot
Will the distortion hurt the pedal of amp? Or will it just not sound right?
synths same as keyboards?
Yes
Will a DI Box work?
BenDog64 Yes it should. This dude really knows how to drone on and on without actually saying anything but yes a DI box should work.
BenDog64 what type of di box?
gary abbot just a normal passive should do
Yea just get a cheap DI Box and it will work just fine.
Ben Ballard Radial DIs are quite cheap
