Thanks Dan, see ya tonight on the livestream, oh coffee fund 👍
I am surprised that bounder isn't water proof.... bro, that's epic, you are riding a kid marry go-around
Love your videos on wheelchair repair. I would really enjoy seeing more videos on the Bounder. I have one that’s 17 years old. It is definitely not an off-road chair. My Permobil🎉 is better off-road. I want to change that with bigger tires and sprockets. Would really enjoy your input. I have watched all your videos on the Bounder. Thanks
David Wolfe
Hi Dan, thanks again for another great video, didn't know that you had DX2 on your bounder, and I know what you mean about supply chain issues, I bought 4 set's of front fenders for both of my invacare storm 4's and I placed the order in December with invacare and they have just arrived despite their website saying that they were in stock.
Fitting them wasn't so straightforward as I thought, as I have had to remove both the front wheels from the stub axle, just for a couple of fenders which were never fitted when I bought the chair's.
Thanks again Dan 👍
I’m glad you got it fixed good to hear from you thanks for a great video!
I find you interesting and entertaining.
I'm working on a big bounder 2016 model setting it up for a disabled friend (he doesn't know it yet) to use at disc golf.
The courses of course is a little rugged but Sandy in places. My plan is to have him up right, like on a horse, strapped in as needed so to have upper body movement.
I've got a commercial walk behind vacuum that is a soft plastic type compartment that'll be just right in front of him and it holds the disc and can be kind of like a segway hand positions.
Are there videos on changing over the sprockets and to change from belt to chain and how do you tune it up, like you was talkin about - it doesn't have the power to turn around smoothly on my gravel driveway?
swap the server fan with Noctua. those fans are quiet and high quality
Hello mate! What watt motors have your Bounder and how much it cost to you?
If / when a power chairs dies away from a power outlet do we just call the DME provider for road side assistance? I'm new to this.
depending on the chair ya end up with.. its good to know what the real world range of it is... generally speaking its directly rated to the size of the batteries (brand/model is somewhat irrelevant)
a typical rehab chair with group 24 gel/agm batteries can go 12-14 miles at the most - and just gotta plan around that :^)
most chair manufacturers greatly inflate the range estimates... (by more than double)
but in most cases:
group 22 batteries = 5-7 miles
group 34 = 8-10 miles
group 24 = 12-14 miles
there are more variables involved - but you WON'T get 20 miles or more!
(unless ya get a bounder with the lithium battery option lol)
Where did you get the foot rest on the alllum
i poached the footplates from an old amysystems chair :^)
I Coach softball I need a chair with more speed to keep up with my players what can I do
what are your thoughts about theQuantum Rival chair? Due to my insurance not paying for another founder
i know they had a cult following a number of years back.. but i haven't personally tried one out
Forget how, I wanna know WHY you got on that kiddie ride?
What about programming the linx ? can it be done by the end user - nice video - i like to see more bounder stuff
